Evolutionary Prisoners' Dilemma Game on Scale-Free Networks with Degree-Degree Correlation 下载免费PDF全文
Degree-degree correlation and heterogeneity in degree are important topological properties characterizing scale-free networks. We consider an evolutionary prisoners' dilemma game on scale-free networks and investigate how degree-degree correlation influences cooperation. It is found that the cooperator frequency displays resonance-like behavior with the variation of Pearson correlation coefficient. A measure on local heterogeneity in a network is proposed and it is realized that cooperation is proportional to the local heterogeneity. 相似文献

When a population structure is modelled as a square lattice, the cooperation may be improved for an evolutionary prisoner dilemma game or be inhibited for an evolutionary snowdrift game.In this work,we investigate cooperation in a population on a square lattice where the interaction among players contains both prisoner dilemma game and snowdrift game. The heterogeneity in interaction is introduced to the population in two different ways:the heterogenous character of interaction assigned to every player(HCP) or the heterogenous character of interaction assigned to every link between any two players(HCL).The resonant enhancement of cooperation in the case of HCP is observed while the resonant inhibition of cooperation in the case of HCL is prominent. The explanations on the enhancement or inhibition of cooperation are presented for these two cases. 相似文献

A generalization of the Kuramoto model in which oscillators are coupled to the mean field with random signs is investigated in this work. We focus on a situation in which the natural frequencies of oscillators follow a uniform probability density. By numerically simulating the model, we find that the model supports a modulated travelling wave state except for already reported π state and travelling wave state in the one with natural frequencies followingLorenztian probability density or a delta function. The dependence of the observed dynamics on the parameters of the model is explored and we find that the onset of synchronization in the model displays a non-monotonic dependence on both positive and negative coupling strength. 相似文献

We study the percolation transition in a one-species cluster aggregation network model, in which the parameter α describes the suppression on the cluster sizes. It is found that the model can exhibit four types of percolation transitions, two continuous percolation transitions and two discontinuous ones. Continuous and discontinuous percolation transitions can be distinguished from each other by the largest single jump. Two types of continuous percolation transitions show different behaviors in the time gap. Two types of discontinuous percolation transitions are different in the time evolution of the cluster size distribution. Moreover, we also find that the time gap may also be a measure to distinguish different discontinuous percolations in this model. 相似文献

Effects of Degree on Cooperation in Evolutionary Prisoner's Dilemma Games on Structured Populations 下载免费PDF全文
We focus on the effects of individuals' degrees on spontaneous cooperation. By investigating evolutionary PDGs on random networks with two distinct degrees, we find some resonance-type behaviors of the cooperator frequency with the variation of degree. We also find that increasing hums degree actually disfavors the cooperation though the heterogeneity in degree can enhance cooperation in the population. 相似文献

We study the anti-phase synchronization (APS) in a system of two coupled chaotic oscillators. The necessary condition and the stability analysis for the APS are given theoretically. The APS state in specific systems such as Chua circuits and Lorenz oscillators are numerically studied. The different types of transitions to APS in both the systems are found. 相似文献

The phenomenon of wave grouping, in which the dense waves and the sparse waves can form groups in front of the spiral tip when the spiral wave is meandering, has been reported in a chemical reaction system recently. We present a method to realize the phenomenon of wave grouping by applying an external field to the system. The numerical simulations are carried out on the basis of the FitzHugh-Nagumo equations. 相似文献

We investigate the evolutionary prisoner's dilemma on a weighted scale-free network where the diversity of teaching ability is introduced to the network in the form of weight. Though the diversity of teaching ability is not a sufficient condition for the enhancement of cooperation, we find that the degree-dependent teaching ability plays an active role in the evolution of cooperation. A new phenomenon is found when the degree-dependent teaching ability is used: the distribution of the cooperator frequency displays a two-peak structure for a certain parameter range. We also investigate the effects of the degree-degree correlation of the network on the evolution of cooperation in the presence of the diversity of the teaching ability. 相似文献

The dynamics of coupled Lorenz circuits is investigated experimentally. The partial
amplitude death reported in {\em Phys. Rev.} E {\bf 72}, 057201 (2005) is verified
by physical experiments with electronic circuits. With the increase of coupling
constant, the coupled circuits undergo the transition from the breakdown of both the
reflection symmetry and the translational symmetry to the partial amplitude death.
Its stability is also confirmed by analysing the effects of noise. 相似文献
