Abstract
Several 4-amino-6,7-diarylbicyclo[2.2.2]octan-2-ols bearing varying substituents on the aromatic rings were synthesized following a manual method for applying the Hansch approach. Abstract
Aroyl derivatives of 2-aminobicyclo-octanes and 2-azabicyclo-nonanes have been synthesized and tested for their activities against the causative organisms of East African trypanosomiasis and malaria tropica. Block copolymers of ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) are characterized by combination of two-dimensional chromatography and MALDI-TOF-MS. Liquid chromatography under critical conditions (LCCC) is used as first dimension and fractions are collected, mobile phase evaporated and diluted in the mobile phase used in second dimension (SEC or LAC). This two-dimensional chromatography in combination of MALDI-TOF-MS gives information about purity of reaction products, presence of the byproducts, chemical composition and molar mass distribution of all the products. 相似文献

Magnetic Fe(2)O(3)/carbon hybrids were prepared in a two-step process. First, acetic acid vapor interacted with iron cations dispersed on the surface of a nanocasted ordered mesoporous carbon (CMK-3). In the second step, the primarily created iron acetate species underwent pyrolysis and transformed to magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles. X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared, and Raman spectroscopies were used for the chemical and structural characterization of the hybrids, while surface area measurements, thermal analysis, and transmission electron microscopy were employed to determine their physical, surface, and textural properties. These results revealed the preservation of the host carbon structure, which was homogenously and controllably loaded (up to 27 wt %) with nanosized (ca. 20 nm) iron oxides inside the mesoporous system. M?ssbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements at low temperatures confirmed the formation of γ-Fe(2)O(3) nanoparticles exhibiting superparamagnetic behavior. The kinetic studies showed a rapid removal of Cr(VI) ions from the aqueous solutions in the presence of these magnetic mesoporous hybrids and a considerably increased adsorption capacity per unit mass of sorbent in comparison to that of pristine CMK-3 carbon. The results also indicate highly pH-dependent sorption efficiency of the hybrids, whereas their kinetics was described by a pseudo-second-order kinetic model. Taking into account the simplicity of the synthetic procedure and possibility of magnetic separation of hybrids with immobilized pollutant, the developed mesoporous nanomaterials have quite real potential for applications in water treatment technologies. 相似文献

Summary. 11-(4H-1,2,4-Triazol-4-yl)-undecylmethacrylate (1), a new ligand for Fe(II) spin-crossover (SCO) complexes containing a polymerizable group, was synthesized and characterized.
The complex [Fe·1
3](BF4)2 (2) was obtained by reaction of 1 with Fe(BF4)2·6H2O (molar ratio 1/Fe(II) = 3/1) in THF. Complex 2 showed a gradual spin-crossover between 80 and 230 K. The methacrylate units in the ligands of complex 2 could be oligomerized radically in solution (initiator: azoisobutyronitrile) without loss of the spin-crossover behaviour.

polymerization. This polymer combines the photoreactivity of aryl esters with the fluorescence properties of derivatives of
4-(diphenylamino)benzoic acid. The polymer exhibits blue photo- and electroluminescence and can be used as active layer in
organic light emitting devices (OLED). Upon irradiation with UV light (254 nm) the aromatic ester groups undergo decarboxylation,
which is accompanied by the loss of photoluminescence. Photolithographic patterning of the polymer surface was used to obtain
