To the problem of energy recuperation in gyrotrons

A relatively high level of the minimal electron energy at the gyrotron output even at very large spread in pitch factor is explained. An estimation of the recuperation efficiency, which can be obtained due to this effect, is given.

Steady-state electrolysis at a grooved or ridged plane

This study concerns an infinite plane whose smoothness is marred by a single defect: either a groove or a ridge. The blemished plane serves as an electrode supporting a diffusion-controlled steady-state process. By using a convenient coordinate transformation, the local current density at all points on the surface is determined exactly. The results are found to confirm intuitive expectations. Thus, compared with normal values on the plane remote from a groove, the electron transfer rate is diminished within the groove but enhanced along its margins. Similarly, an abnormally large transfer rate is encountered high on the ridge but the rate is subnormal on its lower flanks. The total current is demonstrated to be unchanged by the presence of the blemish. Received: 27 September 1996 / Accepted: 11 March 1997

A review is presented about research on surface forces and surface interactions conducted over the past half-century, with some emphasis on the pioneering contributions of the Department of Surface Phenomena at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

Existence of many ergodic absolutely continuous invariant measures for piecewise-expandingC 2 chaotic transformations in ℝ2 on a fixed number of partitions

Let Ω be a region in ℝⁿ and letp = P_i ) _i ^1m , be a partition ofΩ into a finite number of closed subsets having piecewise C² boundaries of finite(n - 1 )dimensional measure. Let τ:Ω→Ω be piecewise C² onP where, τ_i = τ|p_i is aC ² diffeomorphism onto its image, and expanding in the sense that there exists α > 1 such that for anyi = 1, 2,...,m ‖Dτ_i ^-1 ‖ < α^-1, where Dτ_i ^-1 is the derivative matrixτ _i ^- 1 and |‖·‖ is the Euclidean matrix norm. By means of an example, we will show that the simple bound of one-dimensional dynamics cannot be generalized to higher dimensions. In fact, we will construct a piecewise expanding C² transformation on a fixed partition with a finite number of elements in ℝ², but which has an arbitrarily large number of ergodic, absolutely continuous invariant measures     

负电子亲和势GaAs光电阴极中的三光子激发和发射的理论研究

将三阶微扰理论应用于单晶GaAs半导体,结合与实际相接近的能带结构,得到了GaAs中三光子吸收系数的解析式表达式,在考虑了激发电子的逃逸过程的情况下,进而推导了负电子亲和势GaAs光电阴极中三光子光电发射的发射系数的解析表达式.两表达式得到的理论数值分别与用ns量级脉宽、2.06μm波长的激光测得的GaAs中三光子吸收系数和GaAs(Cs,O)光电阴极中三光子发射系数的实验值相比较,吻合较好.

本文研究了一类具有非局部边界条件的奇摄动反应扩散初始边值问题．在适当的条件下，利用比较定理讨论了问题解的渐近性态．     

大肠杆菌HB101感受态细胞的显微观察与分析

对数生长前期的大肠杆菌在生理盐水中用CaCl2可以直接诱导建立感受态并完成转化过程。利用H－8100透射电子显微镜观察用CaCl2直接在生理盐水中诱导建立感受态的大肠杆菌细胞，发现感受态细胞整体电子密度趋于均匀，但存在有电子密度较高颗粒，表明大肠杆菌感受态建立过程中，细胞整体对电子通透性增强，可能存在涉及细胞膜通透性的复合物重新形成相关的胞内物质代谢及其在细胞内定位的受控改变，暗示大肠杆菌可能具有建立自然感受态的能力。     

热辐射驱动烧蚀平面金靶的数值定标定律

利用一维辐射流体力学编码数值研究了辐射烧蚀波在平面金靶中的传播情况,并在常温边界条件下得到了辐射流、烧蚀压、质量烧蚀率和特征等离子体密度的定标定律。
