提出了一种用阵列波导光栅复用光纤微机电系统法布里-珀罗压力传感器的方法,实现了法布里-珀罗压力传感器的准分布式测量。传感器基于法布里-珀罗腔干涉的原理,采用微机电系统技术加工制作,用双波长方法解调干涉信号,利用传感器对两个不同波长光的反射率的比值与压力的单值关系确定所施加压力的大小,用阵列波导光栅实现传感器复用。理论分析与实验验证了传感器解调和复用的基本原理。实验结果表明:在压力的线性测量范围(0~1.5 MPa)内,系统的灵敏度(相对反射率比值/压力)可达到0.02026 MPa-1,测量结果具有较好的线形性,相对反射率比值的标准偏差小于3×10-4。该系统可以补偿传感器光网中和波长无关的变动引起的误差,具有好的线性、灵敏度和精度,复用能力强且复用传感器间无串扰。 相似文献

The photosensitivity dynamics in SiO2 glass with a composition similar to that of silica planar lightwave circuit (PLC) devices was investigated as a fundamental study prior to device fabrication. Silica bulk glasses with similar composition to the core layer of PLC devices were prepared with various concentrations of B2O3. The photosensitivity in boron and germanium co-doped amorphous SiO2 yields a refractive index change Δn as high as 10−3 after irradiation with a KrF UV laser beam. The index modulation disappeared after thermal annealing. The result of annealing experiment and UV absorption/Raman spectra revealed that the molar volume change by UV irradiation is responsible for the index variation in the material. 相似文献

Thin-film design used to fabricate multi-layer dielectric (MLD) gratings should provide high transmittance during holography exposure, high reflectance at use wavelength and sufficient manufacturing latitude of the grating design making the MLD grating achieve both high diffraction efficiency and low electric field enhancement. Based on a (HLL)9H design comprising of quarter-waves of high-index material and half-waves of low-index material, we obtain an optimum MLD coating meeting these requirements by inserting a matching layer being half a quarter-wave of Al2O3 between the initial design and an optimized HfO2 top layer. The optimized MLD coatings exhibits a low reflectance of 0.017% under photoresist at the exposure angle of 17.8° for 413 nm light and a high reflectance of 99.61% under air at the use angle of 51.2° for 1053 nm light. Numerical calculation of intensity distribution in the photoresist coated on the MLD film during exposure shows that standing-wave patterns are greatly minimized and thus simulation profile of photoresist gratings after development demonstrates smoother shapes with lower roughness. Furthermore, a MLD gratings with grooves etched into the top layer of this MLD coating provides a high diffraction efficiency of 99.5% and a low electric field enhancement ratio of 1.53. A new method to tune the peak loss of mechanically formed long-period fiber gratings (MLPFGs) is proposed. Periodic arrayed metal wires are used to obtain the gratings along a single mode fiber (SMF). Self-maintaining gratings are achieved by the bonding force of an UV-adhesive between two glass plates. The initial index modulation formed at room temperature creates a maximum attenuation of −9 dB and −12 dB for coated and uncoated SMF, respectively. By changing the temperature, the peak loss is tuned due to the large thermal expansion of the UV-adhesive. Thermally tunable characteristics caused by the coating layer of the SMF are also described and compared with the results of the device with an uncoated SMF. 相似文献

A whole temperature sensor in one package utilizing a fiber Bragg grating (FBG) made in a conventional single-mode fiber and which uses a long-period grating (LPG) made in a photonic crystal fiber is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The function of the interrogation is that the wavelength change of the FBG with environmental temperature is transferred to the intensity of the output via the LPG. In this paper, we completely study the wavelength dependency of differential group delay (DGD) and polarization dependent loss (PDL) for Bragg gratings written in birefringent fibers. Based on the coupled mode theory, we present analytical expressions for the evolution with wavelength of the transmission coefficient, the DGD and the PDL. The wavelength dependencies of these evolutions on the birefringence are then discussed. Experimental results are finally presented for an apodized FBG written in a bow-tie fiber. A very good agreement between theory and experience is reported, confirming the validity of the theoretical analysis. 相似文献

采用闪耀光栅作为色散元件,构建了前向、后向输出两种结构的可调谐掺Yb3 光子晶体光纤激光器,并对其输出特性进行了分析研究.在抽运功率5.75W时,前向输出结构实现了1050.6~1110.2 nm的连续调谐输出,光谱线宽约0.1 nm,边模抑制比大于44 dB.在调谐激光波长为1085 nm时,得到最高输出功率677 mW.结构改进的后向输出结构的可调谐输出结构在抽运功率4.43 W,调谐波长1075 nm,实现了2.21 W的功率输出,斜率效率为73%;调谐范围50.9 nm(1042.1~1093 nm),光谱线宽小于0.08 nm,边模抑制比大于50 dB.两种结构的可调谐激光器输出均为线偏振光,偏振度大于89.5%. 相似文献
