A sub-micron hydrophilic microchannel was fabricated on poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) in one step using vacuum ultraviolet light (VUV) lithography in vacuum. The topographies and properties of the irradiated PDMS surface were characterized and analyzed by atomic force microscopy (AFM), and the chemical composition changes on VUV-treated PDMS analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The hydrophilic stability of irradiated PDMS surface was studied by static water contact angle. As demonstrated, the hydrophilicity on surface of PDMS microchannel can be kept for a longer term even three months after the treatment. 相似文献

Luminescence efficiency of self-activated CaWO4 under 147 nm vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) radiation excitation is about 90% of that of BaMgAl10O17:Eu2+ (BAM), the commercial blue plasma display panel (PDP) phosphor. However, the color purity and the particle size of the former needs substantial modification before it can be considered for application in PDP. CaWO4:Tm exhibits Tm3+ emission peaks in the blue region due to energy transfer from WO4 to Tm3+ ions but the overall emission intensity under 147 nm excitation is reduced when compared to that of CaWO4. 相似文献

A concept is given for describing multicrystal analyser detectors (MADs), as they are in use for synchrotron powder diffraction, on the basis of the Rowland circle construction. The Rowland circle is typically used to describe focusing geometries and can be adapted for the case of MADs working at a single energy as well as in a limited energy range. With this construction it is also possible to quantify and optimize the walk of the beam along non‐central crystals which is inevitable in certain detector designs. The results of this geometrical inspection are correlated with a real detector design that is implemented at the ALBA synchrotron facility in Spain. The emission and excitation spectra of Gd2SiO5: Eu3+ were investigated using the VUVbeam line of the Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF). The experimental results werediscussed in the frame of visible quantum cutting process involved in Gd3+-Eu3+ system. Upon di-rect excitation into the 6GJ states of Gd3+, two visible photon emissions from Eu3+ were observed.Cursory evaluation proved that Gd2SiO5: Eu3+ is an efficient visible quantum cutter. 相似文献
