Images of cleaved surfaces were obtained for 53ZrF4-20BaF2-4LaF3-3AlF3-20NaF (ZBLAN) glasses and fused quartz using an NTMDT atomic force microscope. It is shown that the scatter of particle size depends on the cooling rate and is 21–48.5 Å for the cleaved surface of ZBLAN glass obtained by very fast cooling and 68–172 Å for the cleaved surface of ZBLAN after slow cooling. polystyrene seed particles, the composition of the secondary monomer mixtures, and the type of solvents were very important
factors that determine the morphology and porosity of the final particles. This study proposes that the molecular chemistry
of polystyrene seed polymers, increasing molecular weight or crosslinking, is another factor that can control the porosity
of the final particles. Also, the selection of a poor solvent was effective in forming the larger surface area. In this study,
it was confirmed that the chloromethyl groups introduced on the surface of porous particles were quantified chemically and

The crystal structure of the product of the condensation of (salicylideneamino)nitroguanidine with salicylaldehyde on a Ni2+ ion template, K[Ni(C15H10N5O4)] · DMF, has been studied. It was established that a planar Ni complex, consisting of isolated [NiL]– anions and solvated [K+ · DMF] cations, is formed. The negative charge of the anion is localized mainly on the O atoms of the nitro group. A high-pressure phase of the clathrate hydrate of tetrahydrofuran was prepared by freezing a liquid phase of overall composition THF · 7 H2O under a pressure of 3.0 kbar, or by pressurizing the solid structure II THF hydrate of 255K to 3.4 kbar. Unfortunately, the products recovered at 77K were always mixed phase materials as shown by X-ray powder diffraction. A number of diffraction lines could be indexed in terms of the cubic structure I hydrate with a slightly expanded lattice parameter, 12.08 Å, giving some support to Dyadin's idea that the high pressure phase transition involves a conversion of Structure II to Structure I. Other phases observed in the recovered product include Ice IX and amorphous materials. The reversion of the high pressure sample to the structure II hydrate was followed by differential scanning calorimetry. At ambient pressure, the high pressure sample converts slowly back to Structure II hydrate event at 77K.NRCC No. 35786. 相似文献

Improved separations of the isomers of olefinic aliphatic insect pheromones were obtained on cholesteryl cinnamate glass capillary columns by operating in the supercooled temperature range of the liquid crystal. Capillary columns were prepared with varying film thickness of the stationary phase; choice of the correct film thickness ensured optimum retention for a wide range of compounds within the most effective temperature range of the liquid crystal. The deactivation procedures described made the liquid crystal columns suitable for separation of the geometric isomers of polar and nonpolar compounds. 相似文献

The molecular structure of 1,3,5-tris (trimethylstannyl) benzene has been determined by gas-phase electron diffraction. The C — C bond length is in good agreement with that in benzene. In agreement with the somewhat electron-releasing character of the substituents, the endocyclic bond angles at the substituents are somewhat smaller than 120°. The mean value of Sn — C bond lengths is greater than that in tetraphenyltin and tetramethyltin. The SnMe3 groups appear freely rotating around the Caryl — Sn bonds. The following bond lengths (r
