Despite the importance of a complete characterization of dendritic patterns in castings, the availability of studies on the development of tertiary dendrite arms is scarce in the literature. In the present study, the tip cooling rate, local solidification time, primary and tertiary dendrite arm spacings have been determined in Pb–Sb alloys castings directionally solidified under unsteady-state heat flow conditions. The alloys compositions experimentally examined are widely used in the as-cast condition for the manufacture of positive and negative grids of lead-acid batteries. The initial growth of tertiary dendritic arms from the secondary branches was found to occur only for a Pb–3.5 wt% Sb alloy at cooling rates in the range 0.4–0.2?K/s, with no evidence of this spacing pattern for Pb–Sb alloys having lower solute content. Tertiary dendritic branches have been observed along the entire casting lengths for alloys of the Pb–Sb hypoeutectic range having compositions higher than 4.0 wt% Sb. It is shown that a power function experimental law with a characteristic ?0.55 exponent is able to characterize the tertiary spacing evolution with the solidification cooling rate for alloys compositions ≥4.0 wt% Sb. The only exception was the Pb–3.5 wt% Sb alloy for which λ 3 exhibited significant lower values when compared with the experimental values obtained for the other Pb–Sb alloys for a same solidification cooling rate.  相似文献

Nonlinear dust acoustic solitary waves in a dusty plasma are studied for nonzero kinematic viscosity. Sagdeev’s potential can be obtain upto any order in ϕ. The existence of soliton solution is determined by pseudopotential approach. It is seen that the electron inertia has a significant effect on the existence of solitary waves in presence of kinematic viscosity.  相似文献

Linear and nonlinear ion acoustic waves in the presence of adiabatically heated ions in magnetized electron-positron-ion plasmas are studied. The Sagdeev potential approach is employed to obtain the energy integral equation in such a mulitcomponent plasma using fluid theory. It is found that electron density humps are formed in the subsonic region in magnetized electron-positron-ion plasmas. The amplitude of electron density hump is decreased with the increase of hot ion temperature in electron-positron-ion plasmas. However, the increase in positron concentration and obliqueness of the wave increases the amplitude of nonlinear structure. The increase in positron concentration also reduces the width of the nonlinear structure in a magnetized multicomponent plasma. The numerical solutions in the form of solitary pulses are also presented for different plasma cases. The results may be applicable to astrophysical plasma situations, where magnetized electron-positron-ion plasma with hot ions can exist.  相似文献

通过水热反应合成了Sb2WO6改性的g-C3N4复合材料(Sb2WO6 /g-C3N4). 通过X射线衍射(XRD)、 扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、 紫外-可见漫散射反射光谱(UV-Vis DRS)和光致发光光谱(PL)等表征了样品的性质. 结果表明, Sb2WO6在g-C3N4的表面上生长, 并且复合材料光吸收能力有一定的增强, 光生电子-空穴的重组率降低. 通过罗丹明B(RhB)的光降解评价了Sb2WO6/g-C3N4复合材料的光催化性能. 结果表明, 模拟日光下Sb2WO6质量分数为10%的Sb2WO6/g-C3N4复合材料在60 min内对RhB的降解率为99.3%, 高于纯g-C3N4Sb2WO6. Sb2WO6/g-C3N4复合材料的这种高度增强的光催化活性主要归因于强的界面相互作用促进了光生电子-空穴分离和迁移. 添加自由基清除剂的实验结果表明, ·O2-和h+是光催化反应中的主要活性物质. Sb2WO6/g-C3N4复合材料在几个反应周期内表现出优异的稳定性. 根据实验结果提出了一种可能的Z型光催化机理.  相似文献

Weak gravitational lensing is responsible for the shearing and magnification of the images of high-redshift sources due to the presence of intervening matter. The distortions are due to fluctuations in the gravitational potential, and are directly related to the distribution of matter and to the geometry and dynamics of the Universe. As a consequence, weak gravitational lensing offers unique possibilities for probing the Dark Matter and Dark Energy in the Universe. In this review, we summarise the theoretical and observational state of the subject, focussing on the statistical aspects of weak lensing, and consider the prospects for weak lensing surveys in the future.  相似文献

Fully nonlinear propagation of ion-acoustic solitary waves in a collisionless dense/quantum electron–positron–ion plasma is investigated. The electrons and positrons are assumed to follow the Thomas–Fermi density distribution and the ions are described by the hydrodynamic equations. An energy balance-like equation involving a Sagdeev-type pseudo-potential is derived. Finite amplitude solutions are obtained numerically and their characteristics are discussed. The small-but finite-amplitude limit is also considered and an exact analytical solution is obtained. The present studies might be helpful to understand the excitation of nonlinear ion-acoustic solitary waves in a degenerate plasma such as in superdense white dwarfs.  相似文献

It is shown that resonant nonlinear interactions between the magnetic-field aligned right-hand circularly polarized electromagnetic (CPEM) electron-cyclotron waves and electrons can produce electron temperature anisotropy due to the stochastic electron heating by waves in magnetized plasmas. The present result can thus account for the simultaneous presence of CPEM waves and an anisotropic electron temperature distribution in laboratory and space magnetoplasmas.  相似文献

The quantum hydrodynamic model is employed to study the nonlinear structure of non-planar dust acoustic waves in quantum dusty plasmas consisting of electrons, ions, and negatively/positively charged dust particles. A Kadomstev-Petviashvili equation is derived in cylindrical geometry. Based on the analytical solution, it is found that the Nebulon structure is significantly modified by the quantum effects including quantum diffraction effect and quantum statistical effect.  相似文献

将土壤或水系沉积物样品与固体NH4I按1:0·25的比例在双球玻璃管中混匀后在苯灯喷焰上加热,使样品中的As,Sb,Bi,Cd和Sn转变为碘化物升华逸出而与基体分离,挥发物用盐酸溶解后用电感耦合等离子体光谱法(ICP-AES)测定。实验探讨了NH4I的用量、挥发和溶解条件,光谱测定条件,内标选择,测定谱线选择及背景和谱线干扰校正。用土壤和水系沉积物国家一级标准物质验证了方法的准确性和精密度,测定结果与标准值吻合。方法快速简便,结果可靠,检出限为0·01~0·35μg·g-1,适用于地球化学勘探大批量土壤和沉积物样品中As,Sb,Bi,Cd和Sn的测定。  相似文献
