In this paper, we will propose an efficient heuristic algorithm for solving concave quadratic programming problems whose rank of the objective function is relatively small. This algorithm is a combination of Tuy's cutting plane to eliminate the feasible region and a kind of tabu-search method to find a good vertex. We first generate a set of V of vertices and select one of these vertices as a starting point at each step, and apply tabu-search and Tuy's cutting plane algorithm where the list of tabu consists of those vertices eliminated by cutting planes and those newly generated vertices by cutting planes. When all vertices of the set V are eliminated, the algorithm is terminated. This algorithm need not converge to a global minimum, but it can work very well when the rank is relatively small (up to seven). The incumbent solutions are in fact globally optimal for all tested problems. We also propose an alternative algorithm by incorporating Rosen's hyperrectangle cut. This algorithm is more efficient than the combination of Tuy's cutting plane and tabu-search.  相似文献

Clustered anatase phase TiO2 particles were uniformly formed on the surface of glass fibers by a liquid phase deposition (LPD) method at 60 °C using TiF4 and H3BO3 as the precursors. The clustered TiO2 particles deposited on the glass fibers and as a photocatalyst these particles not only have a larger surface area than TiO2 thin films, but also can avoid the disadvantages of using TiO2 powders encountered in air purification or water treatment. The photocatalytic activity of the sample was evaluated by the photocatalytic oxidation of nitrogen monoxide (NO) in the gaseous phase. The deposition conditions and chemical composition of the clustered TiO2 particles were discussed. It was found that the clustered TiO2 particles that formed on the glass fibers obviously showed photocatalytic activity without high-temperature calcination. A formation mechanism was proposed to account for the formation of TiO2 clustered morphology on the glass fibers.  相似文献

The present paper deals with studies of the facetting of the polished (1 0 0) surface of CaF2 during annealing and growth in UHV using low energy electron diffraction (LEED), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). First morphological modifications of the polished surfaces become visible at temperatures of T=874 K. Surfaces annealed at T=974 K exhibit a micro-roughening with pyramidal protrusions and corresponding depressions. LEED studies indicate the evolution of {1 1 1} facets. Reflexes from the (1 0 0) surface are not seen. After growth of about 660 monolayers of CaF2 at T=1093 K and a saturation ratio S=33 from the vapor phase, larger pyramid-like or hip roof-like crystallites are developed. The results of AFM height profiles as well as of the LEED investigations indicate again the formation of {1 1 1} facets as proved by their angles of 54.7 o with the base (1 0 0) surface. This shows that the crystallites are homoepitaxially grown on the underlying CaF2 substrate.  相似文献

The average interparticle voidage or porosity (epsilon(inter)) in cylindrical capillaries is studied in dependence on the column diameter (d(c)) to particle diameter (d(p)) ratio for 5 < d(c)/d(p) < 50. Using optimized slurry and packing solvents, high pressure and ultrasonication, 5 mum-sized porous C18-silica particles were slurry-packed into fused-silica capillaries having ids from 30 to 250 mum. Packing densities are assessed by a polystyrene standard which is size-excluded from the intraparticle pore space of the packings. For d(c)/d(p) > 35 densely packed beds are realized (epsilon(inter) = 0.36-0.37), while for decreasing aspect ratios an exponential increase in epsilon(inter )is observed reaching epsilon(inter ) approximately 0.47 at d(c)/d(p) = 5. This behaviour is ascribed to a combination of the geometrical wall effect operating in the direct vicinity of the column wall, caused by the inability of the particles to form a dense packing against the hard surface of the column wall, and particle characteristics like the size distribution, shape and surface roughness. Results are compared with the literature data to address also the importance of absolute particle size in studying structure-transport relations in packed beds in dependence on the aspect ratio d(c)/d(p).  相似文献

The unique capabilities of multiple collector inductively coupled mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS) for high precision isotope ratio measurements in light elements as Li, Mg, Ca, and Cu are reviewed in this paper. These elements have been intensively studied at the Geological Survey of Israel (GSI) and other laboratories over the past few years, and the methods used to obtain high precision isotope analyses are discussed in detail. The scientific study of isotopic fractionation of these elements is significant for achieving a better understanding of geochemical and biochemical processes in nature and the environment.  相似文献

利用气相色谱/燃烧/同位素比值质谱(GC/C/IRMS)分析技术,研究了具有不同碳同位素组成的丙酮与衍生剂2,4-二硝基苯肼(DNPH)的液相反应及其相应的气相反应实验过程中的碳同位素效应,探讨了以该方法测定大气丙酮碳同位素组成的可行性。研究结果表明,在衍生化过程中不会产生碳同位素分馏。本实验通过测定衍生剂DNPH与相应的衍生物的碳同位素值,大气中丙酮碳同位素组成通过质量平衡方程计算而求得。采用该方法对大气丙酮碳同位素组成的初步测定结果表明,具有相同排放源的大气丙酮碳同位素比值基本不变。本方法实验重现性好,测定精度高,可以用于分析大气丙酮的排放源研究。  相似文献

Main core part of the research is to develop a novel mathematical model of MHD-Maxwell nanofluid over a stretching and shrinking surface. The stretching ratio, velocity slip and convective boundary conditions are also incorporated. The PDE's with associative boundary conditions are deduced into coupled highly non-linear ODE's by utilizing suitable transformations. The deduced dimensionless sets of Ordinary differential equations are solved by Optimal-Homotopy Analysis Method (OHAM). Behavior of pertinent parameters on the velocity, temperature and concentration fields as well as important aspects skin friction, Nusselt number and Sherwood number are recorded in Table 2. Y chromosome Short Tandem Repeat (STR) haplotypes have been used in assisting forensic investigations primarily for identification and male lineage determination. The current SWGDAM interpretation guidelines for Y-STR typing provide helpful guidance on those purposes but do not address the issue of kinship analysis with Y-STR haplotypes. Because of the high mutation rate of Y-STRs, there are complex missing person cases in which inconsistent Y-STR haplotypes between true paternal lineage relatives will arise and cases with two or more male references in the same lineage and yet differ in their haplotypes. Therefore, more useful methods are needed for interpreting the Y-STR haplotype data. Computational methods and interpretation guidelines have been developed specifically addressing this issue, either using a mismatch-based counting method or a pedigree likelihood ratio method. In this study, a software program, MPKin-YSTR, was developed by implementing those more sophisticated methods. This software should be able to improve the interpretation of complex cases with Y-STR haplotype evidence. Thus, more biological evidence will be interpreted, which in turn will result in more investigation leads to help solve crimes.  相似文献

Loosely bonded (“rattling”) atoms with s2 lone pair electrons are usually associated with strong anharmonicity and unexpectedly low thermal conductivity, yet their detailed correlation remains largely unknown. Here we resolve this correlation in thermoelectric InTe by combining chemical bonding analysis, inelastic X-ray and neutron scattering, and first principles phonon calculations. We successfully probe soft low-lying transverse phonons dominated by large In1+ z-axis motions, and their giant anharmonicity. We show that the highly anharmonic phonons arise from the dynamic lone pair expression with unstable occupied antibonding states induced by the covalency between delocalized In1+ 5s2 lone pair electrons and Te 5p states. This work pinpoints the microscopic origin of strong anharmonicity driven by rattling atoms with stereochemical lone pair activity, important for designing efficient materials for thermoelectric energy conversion.  相似文献

The low-dimensional halide perovskites have attracted increasing attention due to their improved moisture stability, reduced defects, and suppressed ions migration in many optoelectronic devices such as solar cells, light-emitting diodes, X-ray detectors, and so on. However, they are still limited by their large band gap and short charge carriers’ diffusion length. Here, we demonstrate that the introduction of metal ions into organic interlayers of two-dimensional (2D) perovskite by cross-linking the copper paddle-wheel cluster-based lead bromide ([Cu(O2C−(CH2)3−NH3)2]PbBr4) perovskite single crystals with coordination bonds can not only significantly reduce the perovskite band gap to 0.96 eV to boost the X-ray induced charge carriers, but can also selectively improve the charge carriers’ transport along the out-of-plane direction and blocking the ions motion paths. The [Cu(O2C−(CH2)3−NH3)2]PbBr4 single-crystal device can reach a record charges/ions collection ratio of 1.69×1018±4.7 % μGyair−1 s, and exhibit a large sensitivity of 1.14×105±7% μC Gyair−1 cm−2 with the lowest detectable dose rate of 56 nGyair s−1 under 120 keV X-rays irradiation. In addition, [Cu(O2C−(CH2)3−NH3)2]PbBr4 single-crystal detector exposed to the air without any encapsulation shows excellent X-ray imaging capability with long-term operational stability without any attenuation of 120 days.  相似文献
