The surface wave produced plasma belongs to a class of RF and microwave induced plasmas. It results from the propagation of an electromagnetic wave which uses the plasma column it sustains and the plasma tube as its sole propagating media. This type of plasma offers several advantages compared to the positive column plasma of dc discharges or to other RF and microwave produced plasmas. Surface wave plasmas require no internal electrodes, and they can be applied over an extremely broad range of wave frequencies (27 MHz to 10 GHz demonstrated) and gas pressures (about 10–4 Torr to a few times the atmospheric pressures). Using the surface wave plasma technique, a large variety of plasma column diameters have been created (0.5–150 mm demonstrated) and no limitation on plasma column length (column up to 6 m long demonstrated) has been found. The surface wave produced plasma is used in elemental analysis and to sustain emission in lasing media. This article is intended as a guide for potential users of surface wave plasmas in the field of plasma processing and plasma chemistry.  相似文献

Electrochemical detection of quercetin has been carried out on glassy carbon electrodes modified with carbon nanotubes and Nafion (GC/Nafion‐CNT). GC/Nafion‐CNT electrodes did not show passivation effect that occurs on the unmodified electrodes and displayed better stability and reproducibility. Quercetin oxidation was most favorable in acidic conditions and current gradually decreased as the solution pH increased. No oxidation was observed when two ? OH groups in a catechol moiety were fully deprotonated. These electrodes enabled selective determination of quercetin in the presence of interfering species such as ascorbic acid, uric acid, glucose, and catechol in large excess. Quantification of quercetin in a yellow onion has been made and favorably compared with reported values. Good selectivity and high sensitivity obtained by Osteryoung sSquare‐wave voltammetry can open new possibilities of direct quercetin determination in vegetables with a minimal sample treatment.  相似文献

采用电化学方法研究了白藜芦醇在pH=2~13的缓冲溶液中的电化学行为、抗氧化能力及其与DNA的相互作用. 研究结果表明, 在2.011的溶液中, 白藜芦醇产生的P4和P5波分别是其二价和三价阴离子的还原波. 在最佳实验条件下, 微分脉冲极谱图上IP3在8.0×10-8~2.0×10-6 mol/L范围内与白藜芦醇的浓度呈线性关系, 检出限为4×10-8 mol/L. 将该法用于中药虎杖中白藜芦醇含量的测定, 结果与高效液相色谱法一致.  相似文献

A new minicell coupling the liquid‐liquid extraction technique called permeation liquid membrane (PLM) with an integrated Ir‐based Hg‐plated microelectrode array for voltammetric detection has been developed for the speciation of heavy metals in natural waters. Lead and cadmium have been used as model compounds. The PLM consists of a carrier (0.1 M 22DD+0.1 M lauric acid) dissolved in 1 : 1 mixture of toluene/phenylhexane held in the small pores (30 nm) of a hydrophobic polypropylene membrane (Celgard 2500). One side of this membrane is in contact with a flowing source solution, containing the metal ions of interest. An acceptor or strip solution (pyrophosphate) is placed on the other side of the PLM with the microelectrode array placed at 480 μm of the PLM. The analyte is transported by the carrier from the source solution to the strip solution. The originality of the new minicell is that accumulation in the strip solution is voltammetrically followed by the integrated microelectrode array in real time, and at low concentration level, using square‐wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV). In order to protect the Hg microelectrodes from the adsorption of the hydrophobic carrier, the microelectrodes are embedded in a thin gel layer (280 μm) of 1.5% LGL agarose gel containing 10% of hydrophobic silica particles C18. The choice of optimum conditions is discussed in details in this article. Due to the very small effective strip volume of the new cell (less than 1 μL), high enrichment factor can be obtained (e.g., 330 for Pb) after 2 hours of accumulation. No deaeration of the solutions is required for SWASV measurements. Detection limits under these conditions are 2 pM and 75 pM for Pb and Cd, respectively, using a voltammetric deposition time of 5 min. In addition, no fouling effects were observed with natural water samples.  相似文献

 With the resolution becoming sufficient to reveal individual atoms, HREM is now entering the stage where it can compete with X-ray methods to quantitatively determine atomic structures of materials without much prior knowledge, but with the advantage of being applicable to aperiodic objects such as crystal defects. In our view the future electron microscope will be characterised by a large versatility in experimental settings under computer control such as the illumination conditions (TEM-STEM), CBED, detecting conditions (diffraction, image, ptychography) and many other tunable parameters such as focus (g), voltage, spherical aberration (C s ), beam tilt, etc. Since modern detectors can detect single electrons, also the counting statistics is known. The only limiting factor in the experiment will be the total number of electrons that interact with the object during the experiment due to the limitations in the exposure time or in the object damage. However, instrumental potentialities will never be exploited fully if not guided by an experimental strategy. Here intuitive guidelines can be very deceptive. For instance an image made with the best electron microscope (C s  = 0) at the best focus (g = 0) from the best object (phase object) would show no contrast at all. Hence, questions such as what is the best C s , focus, object thickness, etc. can only be answered properly if done using a method of experiment design.  相似文献

本文提出一种新的测定铑的催化氢波体系.先使Rh(Ⅲ)与3,5-diCl-PADMA在HAc-NaAc缓冲溶液中生成稳定的络合物,再以适量HclO_4将溶液酸化后进行极谱测定。利用正交试验法确定体系的最佳分析条件为:0.05 mol/L pH5.0的HAc-NaAc,1.6×10~(-5)mol/L3,5-diCl-PADMA,沸水浴加热15min.,4.4 mol/L HCIO4酸化。在此条件下的线性范围为1.9×10~(-11)~3.9×10~(-9)mol/L,检出限达5.8×10~(-12)mol/L。大量Cu(Ⅱ)、Ni(Ⅱ)、Fe(Ⅲ)及Co(Ⅱ)对体系的干扰可用EDTA消除。研究了催化波的性质,表明该波为Rh(Ⅲ)与3,5-diClPADMA络合物的催化氢波。  相似文献

From the de Broglie matter wave hypothesis and Planck’s energy quantization law, and assuming conservation of energy in the absorption of a photon and its consequent conversion to kinetic energy of motion by a material particle initially at rest, one can deduce a simple mathematical relationship between the wavelength λ (or frequency ν), of the photon absorbed by the particle at rest, and the resulting de Broglie matter wave length, λD, of the particle with kinetic energy of motion of mv2/2. The relationship so deduced, λD∝√λ, suggests that visible wavelengths of light, from about 4000 ?, in the violet, to beyond about 7000 ?, in the red, on absorption by an electron at rest, lead to material electron wavelengths, λD, of the order of the size of the electron transfer proteins seen in the photosynthetic reaction centers of photosynthesizing organisms, at about a size of 50–100 ?. In addition to understanding the mechanism of photosynthesis as a material wave mediated phenomenon, further areas of importance of the relations pointed out in this paper are in the design of experiments to gain a deeper understanding of the basic tenets of wave mechanics, and in the use of tunable lasers to probe various properties of material waves, and to precisely control their properties for applications including lithography.  相似文献
