Continuous spectral decompositions of Abelian group actions on -algebras

Let G be a locally compact Abelian group. Following Ruy Exel, we view Fell bundles over the Pontrjagin dual group of G as continuous spectral decompositions of G-actions on C^*-algebras. We classify such spectral decompositions using certain dense subspaces related to Marc Rieffel's theory of square-integrability. There is a unique continuous spectral decomposition if the group acts properly on the primitive ideal space of the C^*-algebra. But there are also examples of group actions without or with several inequivalent spectral decompositions.     

The Generalized West Decomposition of Operators and Other Compact Perturbation Problems

This paper introduces the concept of the generalized Riesz operators and the concept of the generalized West decomposition of a general operator which generalizes the definition of the West decomposition of Riesz operators, and proves that the following three statements are equivalent on a general Banach space： （a） Every generalized Riesz operator has the generalized West decomposition; （b） Every operator makes strong Stampfli theorem true; Every operator has Apostol＇s compact correction.     

利用排列熵检测近40年华北地区气温突变的研究

运用一种新的动力学突变检测方法——排列熵(permutation entropy，PE)算法，计算并分析了中国华北地区52个站点1960年—2000年逐日平均气温资料的排列熵演化情况，发现中国华北地区气温在20世纪70年代中期、80年代初均发生了较大突变；进一步用经验模态分解(empirical mode decomposition，EMD)方法对排列熵序列进行逐级平稳化处理，结果发现这一地区的气温突变与准10年这一年代际时间尺度的周期变率密切相关，其原因与太阳黑子活动有着密切联系. 关键词： 华北 突变 排列熵算法 经验模态分解     

几类B值小指标鞅空间的原子分解

本文对几类B值小指标鞅空间建立了原子分解定理,利用原子分解讨论了它们之间的相互嵌入关系,其原子分解的存在性和它们之间的关系均与Banach空间的凸性和光滑性有密切联系.     

One-Parameter Fixed-Point Theory and Gradient Flows of Closed 1-Forms

We use the one-parameter fixed-point theory of Geoghegan and Nicas to get information about the closed orbit structure of transverse gradient flows of closed 1-forms on a closed manifold M. We define a noncommutative zeta function in an object related to the first Hochschild homology group of the Novikov ring associated to the 1-form and relate it to the torsion of a natural chain homotopy equivalence between the Novikov complex and a completed simplicial chain complex of the universal cover of M.     

一类Marangoni对流边界层方程的近似解析解

利用Adomain解析拆分和Padé逼近方法对由Marangoni对流诱发的层流边界层问题进行了研究, 提供了一种求解边界层方程的解析分析方法. 得到了问题的近似解析解并对相应的流动及传热特性进行了探讨. 本文所提出的思想方法可以用于解决其他科学和工程技术问题. 关键词： Marangoni对流 非线性 Adomain拆分法 近似解析解     

Cluster growth in particle-conserving cellular automata

A class of simple two-dimensional cellular automata with particle conservation is proposed for easy simulations of interacting particle systems. The automata are defined by the exchange of states of neighboring cells, depending on the configurations around the cells. By attributing an energy to a configuration of cells, we can select significant rules from the huge number of possible rules and classify them into several groups, based on the analogy with a binary alloy. By numerical calculations, cluster growth is found in two kinds of phases which reveal gas-solid coexistence and liquid droplets. Normalized scaling functions are obtained, and dynamical scaling is examined.     

在SQUID心磁测量中基于奇异值分解和自适应滤波的噪声消除法

采用矩阵奇异值分解(singular value decomposition, SVD)的方法，对高温射频超导量子干涉仪(HTc rf-SQUID)采集到的单通道心磁信号进行处理.证明了对于近似周期性的心磁信号，在无参考噪声的情况下矩阵奇异值分解的方法与自适应窄带陷波相结合有较好的消除广谱噪声的效果. 关键词： 高温射频超导量子干涉仪 心磁信号 奇异值分解 噪声消除     

闭模糊拟阵模糊基的判定

通过讨论闭模糊拟阵的导出拟阵序列和模糊基的结构,找到了判定闭模糊拟阵的模糊基的一个充要条件。根据此充要条件,给出了从导出拟阵序列得到闭模糊拟阵的模糊基的一种算法。     

Approximation of Matrices and a Family of Gander Methods for Polar Decomposition

Two matrix approximation problems are considered: approximation of a rectangular complex matrix by subunitary matrices with respect to unitarily invariant norms and a minimal rank approximation with respect to the spectral norm. A characterization of a subunitary approximant of a square matrix with respect to the Schatten norms, given by Maher, is extended to the case of rectangular matrices and arbitrary unitarily invariant norms. Iterative methods, based on the family of Gander methods and on Higham’s scaled method for polar decomposition of a matrix, are proposed for computing subunitary and minimal rank approximants.
