课本是试题的基本来源,是高考试题的主要依据,大多数试题的产生都是在课本基础上组合、加工和拓展的结果．高考命题的原则是坚持稳定,而又注重在稳定的基础上创新．稳定从课本中寻求支撑,课本规范了命题的创新性．所以回归教材,是高三数学复习的立足之本,是提升学生能力水平的手段．
