Approximations of solutions to neutral functional differential equations with nonlocal history conditions

This work is concerned with a class of neutral functional differential equations with nonlocal history conditions in a Hilbert space. The approximation of solution to a class of such problems is studied. Moreover, the convergence of Faedo-Galerkin approximation of solution is shown. For illustration, an example is worked out.

超Poincare不等式在Lp空间上的推广及应用

该文建立了L^p(μ )空间上的超Poincare不等式,得到了L^p(μ) 上半群的半紧性和紧性的充要条件及相应的扰动结果,同时给出超Poincare不等式成立的一个充分条件,推广了L²(μ )$上的相关结论.作为应用,文中最后讨论了黎曼流形上一类非对称扩散算子的本质谱.     

On free semigroups of automaton transformations

It is established that the subset of freek-generated subsemigroups of the semigroup of all automaton transformations over a finite alphabet is a second category set (in the sense of the Baire category approach) in the set of allk-generated subsemigroups. A continuum series of pairs of automaton transformations each of which generates a free semigroup of rank two is indicated.
