Compact Kähler Surfaces with Trivial Canonical Bundle

The classical conjectures of Weil on K3 surfaces – that the set of suchsurfaces is connected; that a version of the Torelli theorem holds; thateach such surface is Kähler; and that the period map issurjective – are reconsidered in the light of a generalisation of theNakai–Moishezon criterion, and short proofs of all the conjectures aregiven. Most of the proofs apply equally or with minor variation tocomplex 2-tori, the only other compact Kähler surfaces with trivialcanonical bundle.     

Optimal stopping problems by two or more decision makers: a survey

A review of the optimal stopping problem with more than a single decision maker (DM) is presented in this paper. We classify the existing literature according to the arrival of the offers, the utility of the DMs, the length of the sequence of offers, the nature of the game and the number of offers to be selected. We enumerate various definitions for this problem and describe some dynamic approaches. A UNICITY THEOREM FOR ENTIRE FUNCTIONS OF SEVERAL COMPLEX VARIABLES

A unicity theorem concerning the total derivative for entire functions of several complex variables is proved.     

FORWARD-BACKWARD STOCHASTIC DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH STOPPING TIME

The existence and uniqueness results of fully coupled forward-backward stochastic differential equations with stopping time (unbounded) is obtained. One kind of comparison theorem for this kind of equations is also proved.     

Lukasiewicz 命题逻辑系统一种新的理论的相容度

根据演绎定理和完备性定理,应用公式真度理论在Lukasiewicz命题模糊逻辑系统中讨论理论Γ的相容性,根据矛盾式■是Γ-结论的真度的大小,提出了一种新的极指标和相容度的概念.给出了理论Γ相容、不相容及其它相关结论的充分必要条件,并且获得了相容度与发散度之间联系的重要关系式.     

Baum-Katz-Nagaev type results for martingales

We obtain a Baum-Katz-Nagaev type theorem for bounded martingale difference sequences that have more than a second moment, and prove that the celebrated Hsu-Robbins-Erd?s theorem fails for martingales.     

Diameter graphs of polygons and the proof of a conjecture of Graham

We show that for an n-gon with unit diameter to have maximum area, its diameter graph must contain a cycle, and we derive an isodiametric theorem for such n-gons in terms of the length of the cycle. We then apply this theorem to prove Graham's 1975 conjecture that the diameter graph of a maximal 2m-gon (m?3) must be a cycle of length 2m−1 with one additional edge attached to it.     

A Liouville type theorem for polyharmonic elliptic systems

In this paper, we consider the polyharmonic system m(−Δ)U=Vq,m(−Δ)V=Up in RN, for m>1, N>2m, with p?1, q?1, but not both equal to 1, where m(−Δ) is the polyharmonic operator. Set α=2m(q+1)/(pq−1), β=2m(p+1)/(pq−1), for α,β∈[(N−2)/2,N−2m), we prove the nonexistence of positive solutions.     

不同温度均匀二半空间接触后产生的辐射场

 应用电磁线路中涨落耗散理论，推导了不同温度均匀二半空间接触后产生辐射场密度的公式。将此公式近似展开后，即得Grover和Urtiew所获得的表示式，不过多了一松弛项，该项如用非富里叶热传导理论推导，也是存在的。该结果和实验结果一致，不过这里的松驰时间可以应用介质性质进行计算。     

A note on conservation laws for a multiclass service queueing system with setup times

This paper derives a conservation law for mean waiting times in a single-server multi-class service queueing system (M ^X/G/1 type queue) with setup times which may be dependent on multiple customer classes and its arrival batch size by using the work decomposition property in the queueing system with vacations.
