BOCHNER TECHNIQUE IN REAL FINSLER MANIFOLDS

Using non-linear connection of Finsler manifold M, the existence of local coordinates which is normalized at a point x is proved, and the Laplace operator A on 1-form of M is defined by non-linear connection and its curvature tensor. After proving the maximum principle theorem of Hopf-Bochner on M, the Bochner type vanishing theorem of Killing vectors and harmonic 1-form are obtained.     

A Functional Law of the Iterated Logarithm for U-Statistic Type Processes

We prove a functional law of the iterated logarithm for U-statistics type processes. The result is used to determine the almost sure set of limit points for change-point estimators.     

高维空间中一类Ginzburg-Landau型泛函的极小元的渐近分析

在空间H1,pg(Ω,Rn)中讨论如下一类变系数Ginzburg-Landau型泛函Eε(Ω)=∫Ωa(x)p|Δu|p+14εpb(x)(|u|2-β2(x))2dx的极小元列的渐近性质.这里2≤p0,m≤a(x),b(x),β(x)≤M,且a(x),b(x),β(x)是光滑函数.研究了当ε→0时极小元的渐近性态,证明了极小元列在H1,pg(Ω,Rn)中强收敛于某个元素,且得到了该元素所满足的微分方程边值问题.     

On Korovkin Type Theorem in the Space of Locally Integrable Functions

It is shown that a Korovkin type theorem for a sequence of linear positive operators acting in weighted space L _p,w (loc) does not hold in all this space and is satisfied only on some subspace.

设(x，d，μ)是齐型空间．本文证明了分数次积分算子Iα与VMO函数构成的交换子I^ba是L^p(X)到L^q(X)的紧算子，其中α∈(0，1)，1＜p＜q＜∞且1/q＝1/p—α。     

Interpretation of solar microwave C type burst spectra in terms of magnetic nonhomogeneity

The solar radio spectra of the gyro-synchrotron radiation without absorption from mildly relativistic non-thermal electron have been presented using the model with the spherical symmetric nonhomogeneity. These spectra have the following features: (i) Twists and turns of the spectra, which appear at the joint between the medium and high frequencies, (ii) Flux density drop at the lower frequencies. Even if there are no absorption in the radio sources, flux density drop at the lower frequencies is still present because of magnetic nonhomogeneity. (iii) These theoretical spectra belong to C type. This provides us a new interpretation for the observed solar burst C type spectra. Project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Matter collineation classification of Bianchi type II spacetime

In this paper we classified the matter collineations (MCs) of Bianchi type II spacetime according to the degenerate and non-degenerate energy-momentum tensor. It is shown that when the energy-momentum tensor is degenerate, most of the cases yield infinite dimensional MCs whereas some cases give finite dimensional Lie algebras in which there are three, four or five MCs. For the non-degenerate matter tensor cases we obtained that the Lie algebra of MCs is finite dimensional, in which the number of MCs are also three, four or five. Furthermore, we discussed the physical implications of the obtained MCs in the case of perfect fluid as source.
