A Globally Convergent and Efficient Method for Unconstrained Discrete-Time Optimal Control

Shift schemes are commonly used in non-convex situations when solving unconstrained discrete-time optimal control problems by the differential dynamic programming (DDP) method. However, the existing shift schemes are inefficient when the shift becomes too large. In this paper, a new method of combining the DDP method with a shift scheme and the steepest descent method is proposed to cope with non-convex situations. Under certain assumptions, the proposed method is globally convergent and has q-quadratic local conve rgence. Extensive numerical experiments on many test problems in the literature are reported. These numerical results illustrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed method.

 自由旋涡气动窗口能有效地替代高能激光器传统晶体输出镜，起到密封激光器低腔压的作用。利用现有的37单元室内自适应光学系统，对自由旋涡气动窗口的输出激光波前畸变进行自适应光学波前校正。给出了自适应光学系统对气动窗口畸变波前的校正原理，采用直接斜率法在设计状态下对畸变波前进行了校正实验。结果表明，该自适应光学系统能够较好地校正工作在设计状态下的自由旋涡气动窗口对输出激光所引起的波前畸变。     

触点式光纤液位传感器传感头的制作及其应用

具体描述了触点式光纤传感头的制作过程和工作原理。对传感头的微观形状与反射率的关系进行了实验研究。应用这种传感头设计了一种光纤闭环液位控制系统。应用该传感头设计的光纤液位闭环控制系统已经在实验室运行近一年 ,取得了良好的效果。由于该控制系统是本征安全型的 ,因此适用于一切易燃、易爆的恶劣环境 ,如石油、化工等领域。     

提高双参量光纤传感器精度的一种方法

分析了光纤传感器进行双参量测量时，系数矩阵的态性对待测量精度的影响，提出采用对系数矩阵进行预处理的方法，使得处理后的矩阵由病态变成良态。用方法对文献「４」和文献「５」给出的系数矩阵分别进行了处理。处理后，文献「４」系数矩阵的条件数从３４２降低到４，文献「５」系数矩阵的条件数从１６１降低到３，传感器输出不确定主降低了两个数量级。

Extension of the Kalman–Bucy Filter to Elementary Linear Systems with Fractional Brownian Noises

We investigate the optimal filtering problem in the simplest Gaussian linear system driven by fractional Brownian motions. At first we extend to this setting the Kalman–Bucy filtering equations which are well-known in the specific case of usual Brownian motions. Closed form Volterra type integral equations are derived both for the mean of the optimal filter and the variance of the filtering error. Then the asymptotic stability of the filter is analyzed. It is shown that the variance of the filtering error converges to a finite limit as the observation time tends to infinity. Current distributions in multifilamentary conductors: the influence of intergrowths

The modelling of both critical and remanent states (i.e., the current density and field distributions) in periodic arrays of flat superconducting strips is important for calculating the AC losses in multifilamentary tapes made for power applications. We model the current and field profiles for such magnetically coupled conductors, and have measured these dependences for BSCCO-22223 tapes using a miniature scanning Hall probe technique. The results indicate that the filaments are also electrically connected to a significant extent, which must be caused by superconducting intergrowths between individual filaments.
