Exact Solution of a Test Particle in Presence of Thick Domain Walls

We have obtained the exact solution of the equations of motion of a test particle near a thick domain walls. From the solution it has been shown that the domain walls have repulsive gravitational fields.     

Sterically stabilized emulsion polymerization of styrene: Pseudo‐semicontinuous approach

The sterically stabilized emulsion polymerization of styrene initiated by a water‐soluble initiator at different temperatures has been investigated. The rate of polymerization (R_p) versus conversion curve shows the two non‐stationary‐rate intervals typical for the polymerization proceeding under non‐stationary‐state conditions. The shape of the R_p versus conversion curve results from two opposite effects—the increased number of particles and the decreased monomer concentration at reaction loci as the polymerization advances. At elevated temperatures the monomer emulsion equilibrates to a two‐phase or three‐phase system. The upper phase is transparent (monomer), and the lower one is blue colored, typical for microemulsion. After stirring such a multiphase system and initiation of polymerization, the initial coarse polymer emulsion was formed. The average size of monomer/polymer particles strongly decreased up to about 40% conversion and then leveled off. The initial large particles are assumed to be highly monomer‐swollen particles formed by the heteroagglomeration of unstable polymer particles and monomer droplets. The size of the “highly monomer” swollen particles continuously decreases with conversion, and they merge with the growing particles at about 40–50% conversion. The monomer droplets and/or large highly monomer‐swollen polymer particles also serve as a reservoir of monomer and emulsifier. The continuous release of nonionic (hydrophobic) emulsifier from the monomer phase increases the colloidal stability of primary particles and the number of polymer particles, that is, the particle nucleation is shifted to the higher conversion region. Variations of the square and cube of the mean droplet radius with aging time indicate that neither the coalescence nor the Ostwald ripening is the main driving force for the droplet instability. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 在多项选择题测验分数等于真实分数和猜测分数之和的假设模型下，本文得到了一个多项选择题测验信度的理论公式，并由此给出了测验信度的估计方法。最后，通过两个例子，说明了本文提出的方法在测验信度分析中的应用，并将这种方法与教育测量中常用的库德——理查逊方法（Ｋｕｄｅｒ－Ｒｉｃｈａｒｄｓｏｎ）进行了比较     

自体静脉移植血管的拉伸实验研究

本文考察了自体移植静脉的纵向应力应变关系。将狗股静脉移植于股动脉，在术后不同时间切取移植静脉进行纵向单轴拉伸实验。结果表明，移植静脉的应力－应变曲线比正常静脉靠近应力坐标轴并在术后逐渐向左移动。这显示了移植血管管壁组织在术后的逐渐硬化。

A test statistic is developed that checks the validity of the extreme value conditions without specifiying the shape parameter of the limiting extreme value distribution.     

再论生产函数的统计学问题——与余斌、程立茹先生商榷

生产函数有着相应的经济理论背景,是以科学的数据为样本,反复拟合、检验、修正后得到的,揭示产出量与生产要素资本和劳动之间内在的必然的统计相关关系,是科学的结论。本文就此与余斌、程立茹先生进行探讨和商榷。     

燮理阴阳胶囊的制备与质量标准研究

为研制燮理阴阳胶囊生产工艺,并建立相应的质量标准,采用正交实验法进行了工艺研究,采用薄层色谱法进行了鉴定,确立了水煎提取的工艺条件,建立了知母、熟地黄、淫羊藿的鉴别方法。该制剂的制备工艺简单易行,质量检定方法可行,质量稳定。     

Mg-Nd-Zr-Zn合金的制备及钕对合金组织性能的影响

在RJ-2溶剂和Be的联合保护下制备了Mg-Nd-Zr-Zn系合金. 通过对合金组织的分析, 以及Nd对组织性能影响的研究, 试制出了Nd添加量合理的Mg-Nd-Zr-Zn合金. 经过测试, 认为Nd添加量的增加提高了合金的250 ℃高温抗拉强度, 当Nd添加量超过2.8%时, 合金的高温强化作用不十分显著. Mg-Nd-Zr-Zn合金在250 ℃时的拉伸断裂方式主要是韧性断裂.     

Thermoanalytical characterization of carbon/carbon hybrid material, Apple Woodceramics

Woodceramics, a carbon/carbon composite of plant-originated carbon reinforced by glassy carbon from phenolic resin, was prepared from apple pomace at carbonizing temperatures of 1073 K (AWC800) and 1473 K (AWC1200), and characterized by thermoanalytical methods and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Simultaneous differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric (TG) showed complicated overlapping reactions similar to those of coal. The initial temperature of pyrolysis was obtained by fitting logistic functions to observed TG data. The results suggested that AWC1200 contained more volatile matter than AWC800. In an inert atmosphere, complicated devolatilization takes place. In an oxidizing atmosphere, thermal change occurs roughly in four steps: desorption of physically adsorbed matter; pyrolysis into aliphatic and aromatic fragments; ignition; combustion of char. The oxidation resistance of AWC1200 was superior to AWC800.     

The Pharmacophore Hypothesis of Novel Inhibitors for Aurora A Kinase

A three-dimensional pharmacophore model was developed from a series of inhibitors of Aurora A kinase to discover new potent anti-cancer agents using the HypoGen module in the Catalyst software. The pharmacophore model was developed based on the structure of 20 currently available inhibitors, which were carefully selected from the literature. The best hypothesis （Hypo 1） was defined by four features： one hydrogen-bond donor and three hy- drophobic points, with the best correlation coefficient of 0.909, the lowest rms deviation of 1.563, and the highest cost difference of 99.075. The Hypo 1 was then validated by a test set consisting of 24 compounds and by a cross-validation of 95% confidence level through randomizing the data using the CatScramble program, which suggested that a predictive pharmacophore model had been successfully obtained.
