Common fixed points for four maps in cone metric spaces

The existence of coincidence points and common fixed points for four mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions without exploiting the notion of continuity of any map involved therein, in a cone metric space is proved. These results extend, unify and generalize several well known comparable results in the existing literature.     

On fuzzy multi-valued functions, part 4: Fuzzy economic models

An application to fuzzy economic systems of the fuzzy multi-valued functions theory elaborated by both of us in our previous papers is presented. First, stationary and dynamic fuzzy economic models are defined. Next the optimality of fuzzy trajectories of these models is introduced and investigated.     

Metric Inequality, Subdifferential Calculus and Applications

In this paper we establish characterizations of Asplund spaces in terms of conditions ensuring the metric inequality and intersection formulae. Then we establish chain rules for the limiting Fréchet subdifferentials. Necessary conditions for constrained optimization problems with non-Lipschitz data are derived.     

Exfoliated poly(methyl methacrylate) and polystyrene nanocomposites occur when the clay cation contains a vinyl monomer

The bulk polymerization of methyl methacrylate and styrene in the presence of an organically modified clay containing a vinyl group that can be involved in the polymerization produces exfoliated nanocomposites. These nanocomposites have been characterized by X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, mechanical properties, and cone calorimetry. The onset temperature of thermal degradation increases with the mechanical properties. Bifractional inequalities and convex cones

In this paper we give a systematic study of a class of linear inequalities related to convex cones in linear spaces. In particular, Chebyshev and Andersson type inequalities are discussed. Some classical and new inequalities are derived from the results.     

Decay of correlations in one and two dimensions

An exposition of some methods of proving exponential (stretched exponential) decay of correlations is given. One-dimensional strictly hyperbolic and quadratic maps and two-dimensional piecewise smooth, uniformly hyperbolic maps are considered. The emphasis is on the fundamental constructions of the Markov sieve method due to Bunimovich-Chernov-Sinai and those of Liverani's Hilbert metric method.
