In this study, a novel method was used to synthesize the poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-co-acrylic acid)/Fe3O4 (poly(NIPAAm-AA)/Fe3O4) magnetic composite latex. The crosslinked poly(NIPAAm-AA) polymer latex particles were first synthesized by the method of soapless emulsion polymerization, then Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions were introduced to bond with the -COOH groups of AA segments in poly(NIPAAm-AA) polymer latex particles. Further by a reaction with NH4OH, Fe3O4 nanoparticles were generated in situ. The concentrations of acrylic acid (AA), crosslinking agent (N,N′-methylene bisacrylamide (MBA)), and Fe3O4 nanoparticles were important factors to influence the morphology and lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of poly(NIPAAm-AA)/Fe3O4 magnetic composite latex particles. The poly(NIPAAm-AA)/Fe3O4 latex particles were used as a thermosensitive drug carrier to load caffeine. The control release of caffeine was studies. Morphology-based schematic models were proposed to explain the control release behavior of the composite particles with different compositions. Moreover, the protein (albumin, acetylated from bovine serum (BSA)) was bound on the surface of poly(NIPAAm-AA)/Fe3O4 composite latex particles. The effects of AA, crosslinking agent and Fe3O4 contents on the amount of BSA binding were investigated at different temperatures and pH values. 通过采用水热晶化与荷电复合分散法制备γ-AlOOH、R-TiO2和α-Al2O3纳米晶体粉末,利用TEM和激光粒度分析仪等手段研究了纳米颗粒水热晶化与荷电复合分散的分散效果及其工艺条件,并探讨了金属氧化物纳米颗粒水热晶化与荷电复合分散机理。结果表明,晶化与荷电复合分散可明显改善金属氧化物纳米颗粒在液相中的分散稳定性,所制得的AlOOH、TiO2和Al2O3纳米颗粒在水中分散放置24 h后的透光率的变化率D24还可分别保持为94.1%、87.7%和82.2%;在水中分散后的粒径分布统计的平均粒径分别为67、70和143 nm。 相似文献

采用溶胶-凝胶法制备出不同配比的V2O5/TiO2-SiO2催化剂,运用低温氮吸附-脱附、XRD、FTIR对催化剂进行表征,对NH3法选择性催化还原氮氧化物(SCR)的行为及抗碱金属性能进行了研究.结果显示复合催化剂比表面积达125~413 m2·g-1,表面酸强和酸量不同程度增加,其中载体中含50%SiO2的催化剂(V5ST)表面酸量最大,在典型SCR反应温度350 ℃下Lewis酸很稳定,Bronsted 酸稍有减少.V5ST相比传统催化剂V2O5/TiO2表现出更佳SCR活性和抗中毒性能,其原因可能是部分钾优先与催化剂表面酸结合,从而降低了对钒活性物种的毒害.不同温度下失活程度的对比表明:低温条件下SCR活性主要依赖于B酸,随反应温度升高,稳定的L酸逐渐开始发挥主导作用,失活程度相应较低. 相似文献

Cartilage replacement materials exhibiting a set of demanding properties such as high water content, high mechanical stiffness, low friction, and excellent biocompatibility are quite difficult to achieve. Here, poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole) (PBO) nanofibers are combined with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) to form a super-strong structure with a performance that surpasses the vast majority of previously existing hydrogels. PVA–PBO composites with water contents in the 59–76% range exhibit tensile and compressive moduli reaching 20.3 and 4.5 MPa, respectively, and a coefficient of friction below 0.08. Further, they are biocompatible and support the viability of chondrocytes for 1 week, with significant improvements in cell adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation compared to PVA. The new composites can be safely sterilized by steam heat or gamma radiation without compromising their integrity and overall performance. In addition, they show potential to be used as local delivery platforms for anti-inflammatory drugs. These attractive features make PVA–PBO composites highly competitive engineered materials with remarkable potential for use in the design of load-bearing tissues. Complementary work has also revealed that these composites will be interesting alternatives in other industrial fields where high thermal and mechanical resistance are essential requirements, or which can take advantage of the pH responsiveness functionality. 相似文献

Toxic dye removal, one of the most serious and common industrial pollutants released into natural water, is a critical issue for modern civilization. In this study, a series of UiO-66 composites was synthesized with addition of HKUST-1 using solvothermal method, which was used to remove RBBR dye. The structure, morphology and surface area of the composites were studied by several analyses. HK(5)/UiO-66 possessed a specific surface area of 557.63 m2/g and showed an adsorption capacity of 400 mg/g, higher than that of UiO-66 (261.92 mg/g) with a contact time of 50 min. Several adsorption parameters that influenced RBBR removal efficiency were investigated, such as pH, initial dye concentrations, and temperature. All the composites followed pseudo-first order kinetics and Langmuir isotherm adsorption. Moreover, the adsorption process occurred exothermically and spontaneously, indicating that the adsorption process was advantageous in terms of energy. High strength cellulose composite films with antibacterial activities were prepared by dispersing montmorillonites (MMT) into cellulose solution in LiOH/urea aqueous solvent followed by regeneration in ethanol coagulation bath, and then by soaking in 5 wt% hexadecylpyridine bromide ethanol solutions to induce the antibacterial action. The cellulose/MMT composite films were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, FTIR, UV-spectra, wide angle X-ray diffraction and mechanical test. The results revealed that MMT was dispersed well in the cellulose matrix to form layer structure with a thickness of approximately 3 nm. The mechanical properties of the cellulose/MMT composite films were significantly improved to achieve 132 MP for tensile strength as a result of the MMT delamination. The hexadecylpyridine bromide was fixed well in the cellulose/MMT matrix through cation exchange, leading to the excellent antibacterial activities against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, which is important in their practical applications. 相似文献

Biodegradable poly(propylene carbonate)/layered double hydroxide composite films with enhanced gas barrier and mechanical properties 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Relatively well crystallized and high aspect ratio Mg-Al layered double hydroxides(LDHs) were prepared by coprecipitation process in aqueous solution and further rehydrated to an organic modified LDH(OLDH) in the presence of surfactant. The intercalated structure and high aspect ratio of OLDH were verified by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). A series of poly(propylene carbonate)(PPC)/OLDH composite films with different contents of OLDH were prepared via a melt-blending method. Their cross section morphologies, gas barrier properties and tensile strength were investigated as a function of OLDH contents. SEM results show that OLDH platelets are well dispersed within the composites and oriented parallel to the composite sheet plane. The gas barrier properties and tensile strength are obviously enhanced upon the incorporation of OLDH. Particularly, PPC/2%OLDH film exhibits the best barrier properties among all the composite films. Compared with pure PPC, the oxygen permeability coefficient(OP) and water vapor permeability coefficient(WVP) is reduced by 54% and 17% respectively with 2% OLDH addition. Furthermore, the tensile strength of PPC/2%OLDH is 83% higher than that of pure PPC with only small lose of elongation at break. Therefore, PPC/OLDH composite films show great potential application in packaging materials due to its biodegradable properties, superior oxygen and moisture barrier characteristics. 相似文献

通过超声辅助共沉淀法制备了具有高比表面积、大孔容和大孔径的CeO_2-Al_2O_3复合载体,并以此制备了一系列负载型Pt/CeO_2-Al_2O_3催化剂,采用XRD、氮吸附、NH3-TPD、SEM和TEM等方法对复合载体和催化剂进行了表征;以甲基环己烷为模型化合物,考察了Pt/CeO_2-Al_2O_3催化剂的脱氢性能,研究了载体中Ce/Al物质的量比及反应温度对其催化脱氢性能的影响。结果表明,当Ce/Al物质的量比为0.5时,Pt/CeO_2-Al_2O_3催化剂在450℃下具有较高的脱氢性能;甲基环己烷转化率达到88.53%,甲苯的选择性达94.63%。 相似文献
