An ethylene glycol solution was used as the electrophoretic running buffer in unmodified cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) microchips to minimize the interactions between the analytes and the hydrophobic walls of the plastic microchannels, enhance the resolution of the analytes and eliminate the uncontrollable dispersion caused by uneven liquid levels and non-uniform surfaces of the separation channels. Five amino acids that were labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) were used as model analytes to examine the separation efficiency. The effects of ethylene glycol concentration, pH and sodium tetraborate concentration were systematically investigated. The five FITC-labeled amino acids were effectively resolved using a COC microchip with an effective length of 2.5 cm under optimum conditions, which included using a running buffer of 20 mmol/L sodium tetraborate in ethylene glycol:water (80:20, v/v), pH 6.7. A theoretical plate number of 4.8 × 10(5)/m was obtained for aspartic acid. The system exhibited good repeatability, and the relative standard deviations (n=5) of the peak areas and migration times were no more than 3.4% and 0.7%, respectively. Furthermore, the system was successfully applied to elucidate these five amino acids in human saliva.  相似文献

Dialkyl-substituted terminal olefins were synthesized from the coupling reaction of a-olefins which were catalyzed by zirconocene dichloride/methylalumoxane (MAO) catalyst system under mild condition. High yield was gained and no other oligmer was detected. It was found that the ratio of AI/Zr is responsible for the selectivity of product.  相似文献

In this study, cyclic olefin copolymer (COC)/layered silicate nanocomposites (CLSNs) were prepared by the intercalation of COC polymer into organically‐modified layered silicate through the solution mixing process. Both X‐ray diffraction data and transmission electron microscopy images of CLSNs indicate most of the swellable silicate layers were disorderedly intercalated into the COC matrix. The effect of layered silicate on the mechanical and barrier properties of the fabricated nanocomposites shows significant improvements in the storage modulus and water permeability when compared with that of neat COC matrix. Surfaces of COC and CLSN films were modified by a mixture of oxygen (O2) and nitrogen (N2) plasmas with various treated times, system pressures, and radio frequency (RF) powers. The surfaces of plasma‐modified COC and CLSN were investigated using scanning probe microscopy and contact‐angle measurements. The exposure of the COC and CLSN film to the plasmas led to the combination of etching reactions of polymer surface initiated by plasma and the following addition reactions of new functional groups onto polymer surfaces to change the topology of COC film surfaces. The surface roughness was closely related to how high and how long the RF power was input into the system. The plasmas also led to changes in the surface properties of the CLSN surfaces from hydrophobic to hydrophilic; and the contact angle of water on the surface decreases. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A synthetic route to enantiopure piperidines bearing a five-, six-, or seven-membered carbocyclic ring cis-fused on the c side of the heterocycle from a common phenylglycinol-derived δ-lactam is reported. Key steps are (i) a cyclocondensation reaction of (R)-phenylglycinol with a racemic γ-oxoester in a process that involves a dynamic kinetic resolution; (ii) a highly stereoselective conjugate addition of an organocuprate to an unsaturated δ-lactam; and (iii) a ring-closing olefin metathesis.  相似文献

Summary: Siliceous mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41, MCM-48 and SBA-15 and organised mesoporous alumina represent progressive supports for new heterogeneous catalysts for olefin metathesis and metathesis polymerization. In combination with Mo and Re oxides they provide catalysts of considerably higher activity in comparison with those based on conventional silica and alumina. Immobilization of Mo and Ru alkylidenes on these materials led to the highly active and selective catalysts with negligible leaching of transition metal.  相似文献
