Scattering spectra and colour of disperse systems of low-absorptive particles

In this article, the results of calculations of scattering spectra of low-absorptive spherical particles are presented. It was obtained using different approximate and numerical methods. The comparative evaluations of application of single scattering approximation, the average field approximation and of the methods of computer modeling on the basis of Monte-Carlo method on various scattering multiplicity were performed. The comparison demonstrates the good agreement of calculated results with experimental scattering spectra of eye lens. By using the obtained spectral data the colour coordinates are calculated. The regularities of changes in colour characteristics in dependence of disperse system parameters are analyzed.     

predForm-Site: Formylation site prediction by incorporating multiple features and resolving data imbalance

Formylation is one of the newly discovered post-translational modifications in lysine residue which is responsible for different kinds of diseases. In this work, a novel predictor, named predForm-Site, has been developed to predict formylation sites with higher accuracy. We have integrated multiple sequence features for developing a more informative representation of formylation sites. Moreover, decision function of the underlying classifier have been optimized on skewed formylation dataset during prediction model training for prediction quality improvement. On the dataset used by LFPred and Formator predictor, predForm-Site achieved 99.5% sensitivity, 99.8% specificity and 99.8% overall accuracy with AUC of 0.999 in the jackknife test. In the independent test, it has also achieved more than 97% sensitivity and 99% specificity. Similarly, in benchmarking with recent method CKSAAP_FormSite, the proposed predictor significantly outperformed in all the measures, particularly sensitivity by around 20%, specificity by nearly 30% and overall accuracy by more than 22%. These experimental results show that the proposed predForm-Site can be used as a complementary tool for the fast exploration of formylation sites. For convenience of the scientific community, predForm-Site has been deployed as an online tool, accessible at http://103.99.176.239:8080/predForm-Site.

基于知识体系整合的元素无机化学教学改革

元素无机化学是大学化学及相关专业无机化学课程的核心内容。如何教好、学好元素无机化学的知识一直是教学工作者研究的课题。为改变教学现状，提高教学效果，培养学生的逻辑思维和科学创新能力，提出一种整合元素无机化学知识的思路，即：以化合物类型为主线对元素无机化学知识进行系统化整合，并以氧化物部分为例加以说明。     

基于国际化产科教融合实训平台的教学模式改革与实践

在分析当前省属工科院校教育以能力为导向培养目标完成实施过程中遇到国际化困难问题的基础上，以青岛大学材料学科为例，提出了基于国际化产科教融合实训平台的教学模式改革举措，并经过实践验证证实其切实可行。包括：充分整合校内外材料学科整体资源，建立了国际化的产科教深度融合实训平台，构建了高效的国际化产科教深度融合协同育人实训平台动态管理运行机制；以实训平台为依托实现师资队伍、教学内容、教学模式、科研等全方位的国际化改革；基于国际化产教研融合实训平台的教学模式改革的实践收到显著成效，对全国省属高等院校理工学科专业建设国际化改革的推广有较好的示范作用。     

Simple algorithm for isothermal-isobaric molecular dynamics

We review principles of non-Hamiltonian statistical mechanics and present a new set of equations and integration algorithm for isothermal-isobaric dynamics. The chief advantage of the present scheme is that it is somewhat simpler than previous methods. We perform numerical simulations to test the accuracy of the algorithm and compare its stability to that of a "gold standard," a symplectic integrator for Hamiltonian dynamics of the same system. The stability of the isothermal-isobaric algorithm is comparable to the stability of the symplectic integrator.

军民融合背景下地方政府支持与民企参军行为的演化博弈研究

民参军是军民融合的重要组成内容,政府支持对于民参军的顺利进行发挥着关键作用。本文通过建立军民融合背景下的地方政府支持与民企参军行为的演化博弈模型,考察了参与者的决策演化过程,分析了参与者的进化稳定策略及影响因素。研究表明,增加地方政府对民企的资金奖励、加大民企参军税收优惠、民企资金收益率的提升,以及积极参军成本的降低,会使民企策略选择向积极参军方向演化,但却使地方政府行为向弱力度支持策略演化;而提升中央政府对地方政府的资金补助,降低地方政府支持民企积极参军的服务成本,不仅促使民企选择积极参军策略,还能促使地方政府选择强力度支持策略。最后,对模型结果进行算例分析,验证了结论的合理性。研究结果可以为当前民参军实践提供一定的理论指导。     

Molecular dynamics of cyclic and linear poly(dimethylsiloxanes)

Dielectric spectroscopy (10^–1 Hz to 10⁷ Hz) has been employed to study the molecular dynamics of a series of cyclic and linear polydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS) of various molecular weights ranging from 300 to 10 000 g/mol in the temperature range above the glass transition (from 130 K to 190 K). The observed -relaxation depends strongly on both molecular weight and structure of the samples. For linear PDMS oligomers, the -relaxation shifts towards lower temperatures with decreasing molecular weight in good accordance with the Fox-Flory-model. Cyclic PDMS reveals a qualitatively different molecular weight dependence: for a given temperature the -relaxation time increases with decreasing ring length, but has a maximum for small oligomers (degree of polymerizationn6). The shape of relaxation curves and, with it, the relaxation time distribution is independent from length and architecture of the chains The observed experimental findings are in qualitative agreement with dynamic Monte-Carlo simulations.Dedicated to Prof. E.W. Binary alloys as a model for the multicultural society

The model of regular solutions, that may be applied to binary alloys (e.g. Au?Pt, Si?Ge) has been compared to binary societies: blacks—non-blacks in the US, catholics—non-catholics, foreigners—German citizen. The excellent agreement of phase diagrams and intermarriage data encourages a calculation of the multicultural society by functions of thermodynamics: Solubility corresponds to integration, miscibility gap to segregation, free enthalpy to happiness and temperature to tolerance of a society. Only a high level of tolerance will integrate ghettos and lead to a peaceful multicultural society.
