Critical points in the Bragg glass phase of a weakly pinned crystal of Ca3Rh4Sn13

New experimental data are presented on the scan rate dependence of the magnetization hysteresis width ΔM(H) (∞ critical current densityJ _c(H)) in isothermalMH scans in a weakly pinned single crystal of Ca₃Rh₄Sn₁₃, which displays second magnetization peak (SMP) anomaly as distinct from the peak effect (PE). We observe an interesting modulation in the field dependence of a parameter which purports to measure the dynamical annealing of the disordered bundles of vortices injected through the sample edges towards the destined equilibrium vortex state at a givenH. These data, in conjunction with the earlier observations made while studying the thermomagnetic history dependence inJ _c(H) in the tracing of the minor hysteresis loops, imply that the partially disordered state heals towards the more ordered state between the peak field of the SMP anomaly and the onset field of the PE. The vortex phase diagram in the given crystal of Ca₃Rh₄Sn₁₃ has been updated in the context of the notion of the phase coexistence of the ordered and disordered regions between the onset field of the SMP anomaly and the spinodal line located just prior to the irreversibility line. A multi-critical point and a critical point in the (H,T) region of the Bragg glass phase have been marked in this phase diagram and the observed behavior is discussed in the light of recent data on multi-critical point in the vortex phase diagram in a single crystal of Nb.     

电子束蒸发在不同Ar气氛下外退火制备MgB2超导薄膜

制备高质量的MgB2薄膜是实现MgB2超导电子器件应用的前提和基础.我们用电子束蒸发B膜和Mg/B多层膜为前驱然后后退火的方法,分别在高温区(~900℃)和中温区(~750℃)成功获得了MgB2超导薄膜.改变退火的Ar气压条件,采用B膜前驱退火的样品Tc可达到38K以上,转变宽度0.3K.Mg/B多层膜的结果尽管Tc稍低(Tc~35K),但薄膜表面更加均匀,且避免了高温下Mg蒸汽污染的问题.对于两种前驱退火中观察到的完全不同的退火气压影响,我们认为是与其各自的超导成相过程相联系的,在此基础上我们对退火气压效应给出了自己的分析和解释,为今后进一步细致研究退火过程中的薄膜生长机制提供了参考.

Study on Phase-Formation Mechanism and Intergrowth for Bi(Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O System

In this paper, the phase-formation mechanism of Bi-based superconductors was systematically investigated by using high-temperature X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis (DTA) and crystallization of amorphous state. The transformations among Bi-based 2201, 2212 and 2223 phases were observed, and the intergrown phenomenon of the 2201, 2212 and 2223 phases was explained. It was proposed that there exist a composition equilibrium between 2212 phase and Ca2CuO3 and a competition of thermody-namic stability among Ca2CuO3, 2212 and 2223 phases. This is why it is difficult to prepare the 2223 phase. After Pb was doped in Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system, Ca2CuO3 phase in the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system was replaced by Ca2PbO4, so that the composition equilibrium and competition of thermodynamic stability mentioned above were avoided.     

Metallic radii of nonmetals

Experimental data are used to determine the atomic volumes and radii of the elements of subgroups IV–VIIA in the structures of metallic phases at high pressures. The decisive role of calorimetric measurements in equilibrium phase diagram calculations

In this paper, examples are given of how calorimetric values can give greater certainty to phase equilibria calculated from thermodynamic data. Errors that may arise when phase diagram evaluations are carried out largely from the basis of Gibbs energy information only are illustrated by reference to recent evaluations of the Ti?Si system and the resulting calculated oxidation behaviour of titanium silicides. The importance of calorimetric values for calculation of metastable phase equilibria is demonstrated by results of work on the AlN?TiN hard-metal coating system. Finally, suggestions are made with regard to areas of work where calorimetric data are urgently needed.     

Some Oscillatory Singular Integrals on Herz-type Spaces (Ⅱ)

In this paper, the authors prove that some oscillatory singular integral operators of non-convolution type with non-polynomial phases are bounded from the Herz-type Hardy spaces to the Herz spaces and from the Hardy spaces associated with the Beurling algebras to the Beurling algebras in higher dimensions, even though it is well-known that these operators are not bounded from the Hardy space H1(Rn) into the Lebesgue spaceL1(Rn).     

教学研究:介绍量子力学几个基本概念——兼答《关于量子几何相位的评注》中的几个主要问题

介绍了量子绝热定理的物理含义及成立的条件，认为有关主要献（Aharonov-Anandan,Bohm，孙昌璞等）的表述是正确的，而《关于量子几何相位的评注》^[1]（以下简称《评注》）相应的表述不完全正确。在此基础上，认为这些献和教材（R.Shankar)得出的涉及Berry绝热相位的一些论述（不含Berry绝热相因子的瞬时能量本征态不满足含时Schroedinger方程等）也是正确的，而《评注》的论述与此相反。《评注》认为只有γn(C)才是Berry相位。本作则倾向于把γn（t）叫做Berry绝热相位，而把γn（C）=γn（T）-γn（0）叫做几何相位（geometric phase)^[2]。
