Obesity is a foremost health issue that affects about 1.6 million people out of which 400 million worldwide. Epidemiological evidences prove obesity is the primary cause for various metabolic ailments e.g. diabetes. Poria cocos possess extensive biological actions, for instance, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, immunomodulatory actions. The primary limitation of all phytomedicine was their poor bioavailability hence in this investigation, we bio-fabricated the gold nanoparticles from Poria cocos aqueous extract and inspected their potency to treat obesity. Obese rat model were produced via fed the young female rats with high fat food for 8 weeks regimen. Further to confirm the potency of Poria cocos gold nanoparticles against obesity induced metabolic disorders we treated obese rats with low dose streptozotocin in the conclusion of the investigational time. The synthesis of Poria cocos gold-nanoparticles was evidenced via the UV-Spectroscopic study and characterized with SEM, TEM and EDAX studies. The anti-obesity actions of Poria cocos gold-nanoparticles were investigated by estimating the glucose profile, kidney markers, lipid profile, inflammatory cytokines, adipocyte markers, antioxidants in the Poria cocos gold nanoparticles treated obese rats. To confirm the Poria cocos gold nanoparticles role on inhibiting the obesity induced metabolic disorders we analyzed the histopathological changes in cardiac tissues. Our physical characterization confirms the synthesized Poria cocos gold nanoparticles assure the distinctions of influential nanoparticles to be utilized for the treatment. The results from biochemical and histopathological analysis confirms Poria cocos gold nanoparticles is a persuasive antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-obesity drug. Overall our results authentically confirm Poria cocos gold nanoparticles is a potent anti-obesity drug and it also protects from obesity induced metabolic disorders.  相似文献

The analytical infinite series solution of submicron particle transport in a circular tube bounded by a porous wall, such as a pinhole, is determined under the slip velocity boundary condition, and the solution is verified by using the experimental data in the previous studies for the specific cases. The results show that particle penetration rate increases with the increase of the porous parameter, the axial pressure drop, and the pinhole radius, whereas it decreases with increasing the pinhole length. The penetration rate of nano-particles are more sensitive to the variation of these parameters. However, the differences between the penetrations of particles ranging from 0.3 μm to 1 μm are not evident because the diffusion becomes weak gradually in this size range. In addition, a further comparison is performed between the analytical solution and the existing studies, and approximate expressions are presented for accurate calculation of particle penetration rate through pinholes appearing in porous materials including filter devices and masks.  相似文献

In the present study, we have successfully set up a novel blue light source with the power density of 9 mW/cm2 and the wavelength of 435.8 nm and then the novel light source was used to investigate the effect of light radiation on curcumin-induced cell death. The cytotoxicity was investigated 24 h after the treatment of curcumin and blue light radiation together using MTT reduction assay. Nuclear chromatin was observed using a fluorescent microscopy with Hoechst33258 staining. The results showed blue light radiation could significantly enhance the cytotoxicity of curcumin on the MCF-7 cells and apoptosis induction. These findings demonstrated that blue light radiation could enhance curcumin-induced cell death of breast cancer cells, suggesting light radiation may be an efficient enhancer of curcumin in the management of breast cancer.  相似文献

The pulsed thermographic technique was used to detect flat-bottomed hole defects in SiC coated high-temperature alloy plates. Temperature–time Logarithm Fitting Method (TtLFM), Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Pulsed Phase Thermography (PPT) were used to extract the characteristic information of the thermal wave signal generated by thermal pulse. It is found that PCA algorithm is available for analyzing the thermal wave signal generated by thermal pulse due to higher signal–noise ratio. Experiments were performed to investigate the effect on the thermal contrast by the pulse intensity, frame rate and analysis moment, respectively. Experimental results show that larger pulse intensity and frame rate are benefit to get larger thermal contrast thermogram, and optimal analysis moment selected is helpful to detect the defects of SiC coated high-temperature alloy plates using pulsed thermographic technique.  相似文献

Generalized results from investigations into the processes of formation of tantalum and aluminum oxide nanostructures and their multilayered systems produced by the method of molecular lamination on a (100) silicon surface and aluminum are reported. Conditions for the layer-by-layer growth of oxide structures and multilayered low-dimensional systems with alternating zones of the said oxides are determined. The use of aqueous solutions as solvents in synthetic chemistry is one of the pathways towards more sustainable chemical processes. To increase solubility of reactants in aqueous solutions, surfactants can be used. In particular as a result of detailed kinetic studies involving probe reactions, our current understanding of the reaction environment offered by micelles is good to excellent. However, this understanding does not always translate well to reactions on a synthetic scale because concentrations are typically very different from concentrations used in probe reactions. These high concentrations may lead to changes in aggregate morphologies, in particular where aromatic anions are used in combination with cationic surfactants. An overview of aggregation processes and aggregate morphologies across concentration scales is presented together with a discussion of the resulting effects on reactivity in solutions containing cationic surfactants and (reactive) aromatic anions.  相似文献

The spectral dependence of Stern–Volmer constants (KSVlK_{SV}^{\lambda} ) for fluorescence quenching by Cu2+ ions in a standard sample of humic acid (HA) (IHSS) with monochromatic excitation (λex = 337.1 nm) conditions has been studied in the spectral range 400–600 nm. This is interpreted within a concept implying that HA macromolecules possess the property of polydispersity, which means that fluorophore-containing sites are different in terms of chemical nature and spatial accessibility. Modeling data show that the minimum number of spectral components required for the simulated spectral dependence of KSVlK_{SV}^{\lambda} to agree as closely as possible with that observed experimentally is three.  相似文献

The time evolution of the field quantum entropy and entanglement in a system of multi-mode coherent light field resonantly interacting with a two-level atom by degenerating the multi-photon process is studied by utilizing the Von Neumann reduced entropy theory, and the analytical expressions of the quantum entropy of the multimode field and the numerical calculation results for three-mode field interacting with the atom are obtained. Our attention focuses on the discussion of the influences of the initial average photon number, the atomic distribution angle and the phase angle of the atom dipole on the evolution of the quantum field entropy and entanglement. The results obtained from the numerical calculation indicate that: the stronger the quantum field is, the weaker the entanglement between the quantum field and the atom will be, and when the field is strong enough, the two subsystems may be in a disentangled state all the time; the quantum field entropy is strongly dependent on the atomic distribution angle, namely, the quantum field and the two-level atom are always in the entangled state, and are nearly stable at maximum entanglement after a short time of vibration; the larger the atomic distribution angle is, the shorter the time for the field quantum entropy to evolve its maximum value is; the phase angles of the atom dipole almost have no influences on the entanglement between the quantum field and the two-level atom. Entangled states or pure states based on these properties of the field quantum entropy can be prepared.  相似文献

Polyamide-6(PA 6)/polytetrafluoroethylene is studied as a potential gate dielectric for flexible organic thin film transistors. The same method used for the formation of organic semiconductor and gate dielectric films greatly simplifies the fabrication process of devices. The fabricated transistors show good electrical characteristics. Ambipolar behaviour is observed even when the device is operated in air.  相似文献
