By introducing a four-layer step-index waveguide modeling, the characteristics of long-period fiber grating (LPFG) with an nm-thick film overlay, which has higher refractive index than that of fiber cladding are investigated in detail. The influence of both the overlay thickness and refractive index on the tuning ability of LPFG is analyzed. The numerical results demonstrate that spectral response of LPFG is divided into three distinct regions as the overlay deposition increases and the shift of resonant wavelength is drastic in some special thickness range. In conjunction with higher-order cladding mode coupling and fiber cladding etching, the sensitivity of LPFG to the overlay refractive index is enhanced significantly and over 120 nm resonant wavelength tunable range is achieved.  相似文献

V02-based thin film materials on silicon substrates are fabricated by ion beam sputtering and a post-annealing which is different from the conventional fabricating method. An infrared linear microbolometer array with 128 pixels is prepared using as-deposited vanadium dioxide thin films. We consider the scheduling problem of cyclic production in a bufferless dual-gripper robot cell processing a family of identical parts. The objective is to find an optimal sequence of robot moves so as to maximize the long-run average throughput rate of the cell. While there has been a considerable amount of research dealing with single-gripper robot cells, there are only a few papers devoted to scheduling in dual-gripper robotic cells. From the practical point of view, the use of a dual gripper offers the attractive prospect of an increase in the cell productivity. At the same time, the increase in the combinatorial possibilities associated with a dual-gripper robot severely complicates its theoretical analysis. The purpose of this paper is to extend the existing conceptual framework to the dual-gripper situation, and to provide some insight into the problem.We provide a notational and modelling framework for cyclic production in a dual-gripper robotic cell. Focusing on the so-called active cycles, we discuss the issues of feasibility and explore the combinatorial aspects of the problem. The main attention is on 1-unit cycles, i.e., those that restore the cell to the same initial state after the production of each unit. For an m-machine robotic cell served by a dual-gripper robot, we describe a complete family of 1-unit cycles, and derive an analytical formula to estimate their total number for a given m. In the case when the gripper switching time is sufficiently small, we identify an optimal 1-unit cycle. This special case is of particular interest as it reflects the most frequently encountered situation in real-life robotic systems. Finally, we establish the connection between a dual-gripper cell and a single-gripper cell with machine output buffers of one-unit capacity and compare the cell productivity for these two models.  相似文献

By means of the generalized static replica symmetric spin glass theory, a quantum HeisenbergS=1/2 spin glass model with the infinite-ranged random Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction and ferromagnetic coupling is investigated. The dependence of entropy, specific heat, susceptibility and the corresponding order parameters on temperature is studied numerically for different ferromagnetic interactions and fixed anisotropy. Two spin glass phases has been found including transverse and mixed spin glass phases. It has been shown that the local susceptibility exhibits double-cusp features for different ferromagnetic coupling (J 0). Phase transition poins are found in the specific heat-temperature plane at various ferromagnetic coupling values. Additionally, the dependence of the spontaneous moment on temperature is calculated.  相似文献
