The conductivity σ of C60 fullerene crystals is measured under quasi-isentropic loading by a spread shock wave to a pressure of 200 kbar at the initial temperatures 293 and 77 K. A sharp increase in σ by seven to eight orders of magnitude is detected: from 10?6?10?7 Ω?1 cm?1 at normal conditions to 5 Ω?1 cm?1 under pressure from 100 to 200 kbar. The conductivity of samples under pressure decreases with decreasing temperature, which is characteristic of semiconductors. On pressure release, σ regains its initial value. 相似文献

Jumplike changes in the microhardness, sample dimensions, and parameters of the EPR spectrum were observed in molecular Cu(hfac)2LEt crystals undergoing a phase transition. Defects that appear upon plastic deformation (e.g., dislocations) and paramagnetic defects were revealed. We obtain an approximate solution for the drift and oscillatory components of the motion of relativistic electrons in the
field of temporally extended high-power laser light under strong focusing of the light (the size of the focal region is of

The effect of gravitational and inertial forces on the precision cumulation of cavities, fast mass flows, and detonation and
shock waves is studied in stages. The possible effects of these forces on the motion of masses and waves (the velocity, direction
and structure of the waves can change) and on the properties of the medium in front of the waves that influence the change

Direct and inverse problems of oscillations of an anisotropic layer with a cylindrical cavity of an arbitrary cross-sectional
shape under the action of a load applied to the layer surface are considered. An asymptotic approach to solving these problems

The results of the first experiments devised to investigate the mixing of thin layers of Al and Au during the laser acceleration
of flat three-layer targets of Si (5 μm), Al (2 μm), and Au (0.05–0.26 μm) by radiation converted to the second harmonic from the Iskra-4 iodine laser with an intensity of 4×1013−7×1013 W/cm2 (τ
0.5∼1 ns), which acts on the Si side of the target. A method for detecting the occurrence of mixing is developed. It is established
that under the experimental conditions the thickness of the mixing region is at least ∼0.15 μm. The results of a theoretical analysis of the evolution of the disturbances leading to mixing are presented.

The formation of gas channels in rotating liquids is investigated and the application of such channels as capillaries for
high-power discharges in x-ray lasers, for transporting particle and radiation fluxes, and lowering breakdown thresholds (including
with the use of metal fillings), for structural systems for microwave generation and particle acceleration, and for photochemical
and shock action on a liquid, and so on, is discussed. It is noted that tubular active elements and samples can be fabricated
