Radiation damping is generally observed when a sample with high spin concentration and high gyromagnetic ratio is placed in a high magnetic field. However, we firstly observed liquid-state129Xe radiation damping with laser-enhanced nuclear polarization at low magnetic field in a flow system in which the polarization enhancement factor for the liquid-state129Xe was estimated to be 5000, and, furthermore, theoretically simulated the envelopes of the129Xe free induction decay and spectral lineshape in the presence of both relaxation and radiation damping with different pulse flip angles and ratios ofT 2 * /T rd. The radiation damping time constantT rd of 5 ms was derived on the basis of the simulations. The reasons of depolarization and the further possible improvements were also discussed.  相似文献

The relaxation oscillation in triply resonant optical parametric oscillators (TROs) is studied theoretically. With constant pumping, the intensity noise spectra of the signal wave consist of a zero frequency and a relaxation oscillation frequency. An accurate relation between the relaxation oscillation frequency and the pump power is obtained. The square of the inherent relaxation oscillation frequency in TROs is linear in the square root of the pump power under high-power pumping. Also, the decay rate varies rapidly with low-power pumping and slowly with high-power pumping. Significantly, when there is a relaxation oscillation in the pumping, the undulation of the signal photon density in TROs also contains the relaxation oscillation frequency of the pumping besides its inherent noise. Films (ca. 150 microm thick) of twelve acrylate mixtures, which contained various proportions of hydrocarbon acrylates [mainly oligo(ethylene glycol) diacrylate, (OEGDA)] and small amounts of a silicone hexaacrylate (in proportion of 5% or less), were cured on a nickel substrate, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis of the nickel-side surface compositions showed that for formulations with and without the silicone hexaacrylate, this surface was enriched with OEGDA and saturated (up to 50%) with the silicone hexaacrylate, respectively. The silicone hexaacrylate phase-separated and formed micelles which migrated to the resin-nickel interface. Silicone hexaacrylate, inherently less reactive, also significantly slowed the photopolymerization of the mixtures. The sequential homopolymerization of OEGDA and silicone hexaacrylate in a formulation was elicited using real-time Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The design-of-experiment approach was used to quantify the influence of the components on gelation time and the nickel-side surface composition as well as provide the statistical models to predict these two properties for new compositions.  相似文献

Effects of externally imposed and self-generated poloidal flows on turbulent transport in the edge region of a tokamak are investigated using 3D nonlinear global simulations of resistive pressure-gradient-driven turbulence. Transport reduction is found to be due to synergetic changes in the fluctuation amplitude and in the dephasing of the fluctuations. A scaling of the fluctuation level and turbulent diffusivity with E x B flow shear strength is deduced from these simulations. These scalings agree with recent experimental observations on edge biasing as well as with analytical models.  相似文献

Magnetic field fluctuations (and the associated current perturbation) have been measured in the core of a high-temperature reversed-field pinch using a newly developed fast-polarimetry system. Radial magnetic field fluctuation levels of approximately 1% are measured in standard-reversed-field pinch discharges which increase to approximately 4% during the sawtooth crash (enhanced dynamo). The fluctuation level is reduced fourfold for high-confinement plasmas where the core-resonant tearing modes are suppressed.  相似文献

Single-element, planar transducers have been fabricated using electron-irradiated poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene) 80/20 mol% copolymers with different electron dosage. Electrical field-induced strain response of copolymer film with 100 Mrad dosage has been studied at 5 kHz and the electrostrictive coefficient was calculated. The transmitting response of the air-backing and epoxy-backing transducers was evaluated with the application of high DC bias voltages. Clear ultrasonic amplitudes and high frequency spectrum (>20 MHz) were observed when driven from a standard ultrasonic voltage source through a decoupling circuit. It has also showed that larger generation of ultrasonic waves will be induced under high DC bias field, which is due to the increase of induced d(33) piezoelectric coefficient. Two different polar bias voltages, positive and negative, were applied to the transducers and inverse waveforms were received, which was coincident with the theoretical analysis of the strain response of electrostrictive film.  相似文献

A simple optical interference method for fabricating two-dimensional square and trigonal lattices is demonstrated. A general formula for the interference contrast formed by two arbitrary polarized elliptical waves is deduced, the relation between wave vectors of incident light and the resultant pattern is analyzed, and polarization optimization of all beams to ensure uniform contrast is given.  相似文献

We have measured momentum spectra and branching ratios of charged ionic fragments emitted in the double ionization of D2 (and H2) molecules by short intense laser pulses. We find high-energy coincident D+ (and H+) ion pairs with kinetic energy releases between 8 and 19 eV which appear for linearly polarized light but are absent for circularly polarized light. The dependence on the polarization, the energy distributions of the ions, and the dependence on laser intensity of yield ratios lead us to interpret these ion pairs as due to a rescattering mechanism for the double ionization. A quantitative model is presented which accounts for the major features of the data.  相似文献

For the two-mode exciton system formed by the quasi-spin-wave collective excitation of many Lambda atoms fixed at the lattice sites of a crystal, we discover a dynamical symmetry depicted by the semidirect product algebra SU2( multiply sign in circle) h(2) in the large N limit with low excitations. With the help of the spectral generating algebra method, we obtain a larger class of exact zero-eigenvalue states adiabatically interpolating between the initial state of photon-type and the final state of quasi-spin-wave exciton-type. The conditions for the adiabatic passage of dark states are shown to be valid, even with the presence of the level degeneracy. These theoretical results can lead to the proposal of a new protocol for implementing quantum memory robust against quantum decoherence.  相似文献
