A series of conjugated/non-conjugated copolymers and their corresponding oligomers were prepared and their optical and physical properties were investigated for understanding the merit of blocking the conjugated chromophores with non-conjugated spacers. It was found that compared to the oligomers, copolymers have the advantages of amorphous nature, high thermal stability, and good thin film processability without sacrificing the quantum efficiency and purity of the emission color. Furthermore, based on the optical data of these copolymers and oligomers, the conjugation length of the polyoctylthiophene was estimated to be extended over 23-31 octylthiophene rings. 相似文献

By using simple mixed solvents, the morphologies of hematite (α-Fe2O3) particles could be manipulated, and the spherical, mulberry-like, nanospherical and top-like products could be controllably obtained. The as-obtained products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometer. The results indicated that the morphology manipulation could be achieved by systematically adjusting the polarity of the mixed solvent via the ratio control. A feasible scheme for constructing quantum logic gates is proposed on the basis of quantum switches in cavity QED. It is shown that the light field which is fed into the cavity due to the passage of an atom in a certain state can be used to manipulate the conditioned quantum logical gate. In our scheme, the quantum information is encoded in the states of Rydberg atoms and the cavity mode is not used as logical qubits or as a communicating “bus”; thus, the effect of atomic spontaneous emission can be neglected and the strict requirements for the cavity can be relaxed. 相似文献

In recent years, the interaction between evolution and learning has received much attention from the research community. Some recent studies on machine learning have shown that it can significantly improve the efficiency of problem solving when using evolutionary algorithms. This paper proposes an architecture for learning and evolving of Flexible Job-Shop schedules called LEarnable Genetic Architecture (LEGA). LEGA provides an effective integration between evolution and learning within a random search process. Unlike the canonical evolution algorithm, where random elitist selection and mutational genetics are assumed; through LEGA, the knowledge extracted from previous generation by its schemata learning module is used to influence the diversity and quality of offsprings. In addition, the architecture specifies a population generator module that generates the initial population of schedules and also trains the schemata learning module. A large range of benchmark data taken from literature and some generated by ourselves are used to analyze the efficacy of LEGA. Experimental results indicate that an instantiation of LEGA called GENACE outperforms current approaches using canonical EAs in computational time and quality of schedules. 相似文献

Molecular motions are closely associated with the behaviors and properties of organic materials. However, monitoring molecular motions is challenging. Herein, a chiral supramolecular system consisting of L-/D-phenylalanine (LPF/DPF) as a chiral inducer and an achiral tetraphenylethene derivative (TPEF) as a molecular rotor has been proposed and explored for real-time discriminating the supramolecular motions by the visualization of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) signal variations. Derived from the ordered molecular motions of TPEF induced by LPF/DPF, highly organized aggregates have been progressively assembled in a controlled manner with differentiated morphologies, including spherical particles, one-dimensional fibers, and floor-shaped supercrystals. Notably, increasing level of ordered aggregates, in turn, led to quenching emissions, while the CPL signals have been dramatically amplified accompanying by a sharp enhancement of luminescence dissymmetry factors (glum) from nearly 0 to −0.1. The significant amplification of CPL is attributed to the ordered aggregates of supramolecules, leading to the decrease of electric transition dipole moments in supramolecular system. As a result of the chiral supramolecular motions powered by supramolecular crystallization, the supramolecular motions are conveniently discriminated by visual CPL signal variation with an enhancement of glum value from 0 to −0.1 in real time. 相似文献
