We delve into the phenomenon of high-order harmonic generation within a helium atom under the influence of a plasmon-assisted shaping pulse. Our findings reveal an intriguing manipulation of the frequency peak position in the harmonic emission by adjusting the absolute phase parameter within the frequency domain of the shaping pulse. High-order harmonic generation (HHG) from an atom illuminated by a sinusoidally phase-modulated pulse is investigated by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation. The spectral shift that occurs in atomic HHG can be achieved easily using our laser pulse. It is shown that the photon energy of the generated harmonics is controllable within the range of 1 eV. The shift of the frequency peak position is rooted in the asymmetry of the rising and falling parts of the laser pulse. We also show that by varying the phase parameters in the frequency domain of the laser one can adjust and control the shift in atomic harmonic spectra.  相似文献

We simultaneously investigate variations of a low order harmonic and photoelectron emission with an incident laser intensity by solving the time-dependent Schr o¨dinger equation in a momentum space. It can be found that, the intensity of low order harmonic and photoelectron are gradually enhanced with the increase of the laser intensity, when the laser frequency is not in resonance with the transition frequency between the laser-induced high excited states and the ground state. If the resonance occurs, the intensity of the lower order harmonic is reduced and the interference can be observed in the lower order photoelectron spectra.  相似文献

通过数值求解一维含时薛定谔方程,本文研究了具有较长脉宽双色激光脉冲与氢原子模型相互作用产生的谐波辐射谱。研究发现,当采用12个光学周期的特定组合脉冲时,孤立阿秒脉冲可以实现。这里特定组合脉冲由两束类似频率脉冲( )构成,附加脉冲的作用恰是调整基频光电场的形状。不同于入射基频光,整形后的基频光在时间始末端电场振幅被抑制,只有中间部分电场对谐波谱有贡献,它的作用等同于单一6飞秒超短脉冲的效果。从而扩展获得孤立阿秒脉冲所需脉宽从6飞秒到12飞秒。  相似文献

We investigate the high-order harmonic generation from an atom prepared in a superposition of ground state and highly excited state. When the atom is irradiated by an ultrashort pulse, the cutoff position of the plateau in the harmonic spectrum is largely extended compared with the case that the atom is initially in the ground state. The physics of the extension of the high-order harmonic plateau can be interpreted by the spatial structure of the atomic initial wave packet. We can optimize the generation of high-order harmonics by substituting the excited state for a particular coherent superposition of some highly excited states to form a spatially localized excited wave packet.  相似文献

Using the time-dependent pseudo-spectral scheme, we solve the time-dependent Schr ¨odinger equation of a hydrogenlike atom in a strong laser field in momentum space. The intensity-resolved photoelectron energy spectrum in abovethreshold ionization is obtained and further analyzed. We find that with the increase of the laser intensity, the abovethreshold ionization emission spectrum exhibits periodic resonance structure. By analyzing the population of atomic bound states, we find that it is the multi-photon excitation of bound state that leads to the occurrence of this phenomenon, which is in fairly good agreement with the experimental results.  相似文献
