Alkaloids from Juglans Mandshurica maxim induce distinctive cell death in hepatocellular carcinoma cells

The aim of this work was to further investigate the anticancer potential of Juglans mandshurica Maxim, including the separation of active constituents and their anti-proliferative effects with underlying mechanism of action. Five alkaloids (1–5) were isolated from the bark of J. mandshurica. Among them, 1 showed the highest cytotoxic activities against Hep3B and HepG2 cells with an IC50 values of 61.80 and 56.24 μM, respectively. Therefore, the cellular mechanism involved 1 was subsequently studied. Our results showed that 1 markedly caused apoptosis and autophagy, but without cell cycle arrest in HepG2 cells. Interestingly, only autophagic cell death was induced in 1-treated Hep3B cells. It is concluded that the isolated alkaloids exerted a certain anti-hepatoma potential, and our results may provide a basis for the further investigation of the alkaloids extracted from J. mandshurica.     

Potential influence on drug efficacy from interaction of tartrazine and trypsin

The extent to which drugs combine with trypsin is influenced by the interaction of tartrazine and trypsin, which may cause overdose or underdose of drugs. Therefore, the interaction of tartrazine and trypsin is investigated by methods of spectrometry in this paper. The binding rate of tartrazine to trypsin is 80.95–95.71% at 310?K, and Hill’s coefficients are almost 1. The effect of tartrazine on trypsin structure was studied by synchronous and circular dichroism. The results showed that the binding of tartrazine and trypsin induced the conformational change of trypsin, and quenched the endogenous fluorescence in trypsin. The results of molecular docking revealed that tartrazine is located in the catalytic active site of trypsin, and is consistent with that of experimental calculation.     

Ag@CH3NH3PbI3等离激元效应增强钙钛矿太阳能电池性能的数值研究

由于银纳米粒子结构的表面等离激元共振特性对有机无机卤化物钙钛矿的新型太阳能电池性能有一定影响,利用comsol mutiphysics多物理场仿真软件对Ag@CH3 NH3 PbI3纳米粒子等离激元效应增强钙钛矿太阳能薄膜电池性能进行研究,对粒子半径和粒子间距对于能量的影响进行了计算;对光敏层能量增强的机理进行了解释;并对电场分布进行了详细说明.依据实验数据,给出优化后的银纳米粒子阵列和钙钛矿光敏层的厚度以及强度,为实验制备高效稳定的钙钛矿太阳能电池提供理论指导.     

时滞Rucklidge系统Hopf分岔分析与电路实现

以一类新的单时滞Rucklidge系统为分析对象，通过计算时滞系统的平衡点，分析该系统在各平衡点的稳定性和Hopf分岔的存在性，得到其发生Hopf分岔的条件。Matlab多组数值仿真验证了理论分析的正确性。基于此设计了一种可切换时滞与非时滞的混沌电路，并运用Multisim14.0进行仿真，实验结果表明，该电路可行且有效。     

SPE and determination by FAAS of heavy metals using a new synthesized polymer resin in various water and dried vegetables samples

Firstly, poly[phenyl thiadiazole methacrylamide-co-divinylbenzene-co-2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid] (PTMAAm-co-DVB-co-AMPS), a new polymer resin was synthesized. This polymer resin was characterized by elemental analyzer, X-ray diffractometer, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and IR spectrometer. The glass column packed with the synthesized polymer resin was used for solid phase extraction (SPE). At the same time, the analytes were separated and preconcentrated from various water, dried vegetables samples and standard reference material (CRM) with SPE and determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometer (FAAS). The experimental conditions of this method such as pH, flow rates of sample, flow rates of eluent, type / concentration / volume of eluent, sample volume and matrix ions were examined. The limits of detection (µg L^?1) were calculated (3s) 0.9 for Mn(II), 1.4 for Cd(II), Co(II) and Zn(II), 1.5 for Cr(III), 2.2. for Cu(II), 1.9 for Pb(II),1.5 for Ni(II) and 1.9 for Fe(III) (n = 21). The low relative standard deviation, ≤ 2% (n = 11) and preconcentration factor as 75 for analytes were obtained.     

On-line preconcentration and determination of Au(III) in various environmental/industrial samples by flame atomic absorption spectrometry

A rapid and simple on-line method is described for the determination of Au(III) in various samples. The method is based on the sorption of gold(III) on Lewatit MonoPlus TP207 chelating resin including the iminodiacetate group, which is used as sorbent material and packed in a minicolumn. The chemical variables such as the pH of the sample solution, eluent type, interfering ions and concentrations of reagents, and instrumental variables such as sample loading volume, reagents flow rates, and tubing length, which affect the efficiency of the method were studied and optimised. Au(III) was sorbed on the chelating resin, from which it could be eluted with 3 mol L^?1 HCl, and then introduced directly to the nebuliser-burner system of FAAS. The limit of detection of the method was 0.2 µg L^?1 while the relative standard deviation was <4.0% for 20 µg L^?1 Au(III) concentration. The preconcentration factor was found to be 106 while the optimised sample volume was 15.3 mL. The accuracy of the method was verified by analysing the certified reference material. The developed method was applied successfully for the determination of gold in different samples with satisfactory results.     

A Benzylation Study of 2,3-Dichloronaphthazarin

Depending on different reaction time and temperature employed, benzylation of 2,3-dichloronaphthazarin (I) using silver oxide as the catalyst can form either exclusively 5,8-dibenzyloxy-6,7-dichloronaphthalene-1,4-dione (II), or exclusively 5-benzyloxy-2,3-dichloro-8-hydroxynaphthalene-1,4-dione (IV); or a mixture of II and 5,8-dibenzyloxy-2,3-dichloronaphthalene-1,4-dione (III). Structures of these compounds were identified by nmr analysis.
