Enantiomer-selective Living Polymerization of rac-Phenyl Isocyanide Using Chiral Palladium Catalyst

We report the polymerization of phenyl isocyanides with the chiral palladium(II) initiating system. The resulting polymers with optically active properties were obtained by polymerization of the racemic isocyanide monomer(rac-1), and enantiomerically unbalanced polymerization of the monomer was found, providing substantial evidence for the enantiomer-selective polymerization of rac-1 mediated through chiral catalyst. A comparison between the enantiomerically pure monomers, 4-isocyanobenzoyl-L-alanine decyl ester(1 s) and 4-isocyanobenzoyl-D-alanine decyl ester(1 r), revealed a drastic discrepancy in the reactivity ratio of their homopolymerizations.It turned out that the monomer reactivity ratio of 1 s was higher than that of 1 r with chiral ligands. The results clearly demonstrated the inclination for incorporation of the 1 s enantiomer during the polymerization process and thus resulted in the enantiomer-selective polymerization in this system. The effects of the catalyst chirality on the optically active properties of polymerization were investigated,and it was concluded that the formation of higher-ordered conformation with a handed helicity might be attributed to the chiral induction of chiral palladium(II) catalyst. Moreover, the polymers obtained through the enantiomer-selective polymerization of the enantiomerically pure monomer were with a significant improvement of the optical activity if the chirality of the monomer and the catalyst matched with each other.     

利用静电场中光电离效率谱精确确定1,3-二乙氧基苯分子的电离能

电离能是原子和分子的重要的特性参数,在光物理和光化学过程中起着重要作用,精确电离能对相关研究具有重要意义.电离能是调试零动能光谱信号的重要参考数据,在判断异构物数量和分子构型方面也起着关键作用.1,3-二乙氧基苯是一种重要的苯的衍生物,实验证实在超声分子束中包含两种旋转异构物Ⅰ(downup)和Ⅲ(down-down).它们的精确电离能还未见文献报道.本文采用直线式飞行时间质谱仪测量了静电场中1,3-二乙氧基苯光电离效率曲线,通过不同电场强度下测量的电离能(Stark效应)对场强的平方根线性拟合给出了两种异构物Ⅰ和Ⅲ精确的电离能分别为(62419±2)cm^–1和(63378±2)cm^–1.相对于通常的脉冲电场加速机制和零动能光谱测量的电离能,精确度大约分别由(±10)cm^–1和(±5)cm^–1提高到(±2)cm^–1.分析和讨论了不同方法测量的物理机制和优缺点.     

Template‐free anion‐controlled synthesis of Pd (II) nano‐aggregates for the antifouling polymerization of CO and ethylene

The reaction of [(domppp) Pd (OAc)₂] [domppp = 1,3‐bis (di‐o‐methoxyphenylphosphino)propane] and imidazolium‐functionalized carboxylic acids containing various anions (Br^?, PF₆^?, SbF₆^? and BF₄^?) resulted in the formation of nano‐sized Pd (II) aggregates under template‐free conditions. The rate of formation of aggregates can be modulated by changing the anion, affecting the rate of polymerization of CO and olefins without fouling. Herein, we describe the analysis of Pd (II) catalysts by dynamic light scattering, atomic force microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X‐ray crystallography, and co‐ and terpolymerization results including the catalytic activity, and bulk density and molecular weight of polymers.     

Enantioselective phospha-Michael reaction of diethyl phosphonate with exocyclic α,β-unsaturated benzocyclic ketones catalyzed by a dinuclear zinc−AzePhenol catalyst

The dinuclear zinc complexes as high performance catalysts were used to catalyze phospha-Michael reaction of exocyclic α,β-unsaturated benzocyclic ketones under mild conditions, and the desired products possessing 1-indanones or 1-tetralones skeleton were obtained with excellent enantioselectivities of up to 99%/99% ee and yields of up to 99%. The absolute stereochemistry of the major products catalyzed by (R,R)-L1 was determined to be the (R,R)-configuration by X-ray crystallographic analysis of 3d. A positive nonlinear effect was observed and the possible mechanism was proposed.     

1stOpt软件在蔗糖水解实验教学中的应用

将1stOpt软件用于物理化学实验蔗糖水解反应速率常数的测定中，在无需严格记录反应开始时间和测定反应终了旋光度的情况下，通过非线性拟合无需编程及公式变换就可以简单方便准确地得到反应速率常数，避免了传统数据处理方法所带来的人为误差，可以补充和改进物理化学实验的教学。     

Immobilization of AIEgens into metal‐organic frameworks: Ligand design,emission behavior,and applications

Aggregation‐induced emission (AIE), in which the luminophores are highly emissive in aggregate state, is one of the most unique photophysical phenomena and has shown interesting applications in many areas. The immobilization of AIE luminogens (AIEgens) into metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs), which are inorganic‐organic hybrid porous materials with tunable and predictable structures, has been investigated over the past few years. These well‐defined porous frameworks cannot only provide an ideal platform for studying the mechanism of AIE phenomenon in solid state, but also show potential applications from sensing to white light‐emitting diodes. In this highlight, we will summarize the recent progress of AIEgens‐based MOFs, including ligand design, emission behavior, and applications. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym.
