Sunscreen agents and in particular UV filters are compounds added in different cosmetic formulations, that has the function of preventing damage caused by sun exposition. Therefore, this paper proposes the development of a simple, fast and reliable electroanalytical method utilizing square wave voltammetry (SWV) to the determination of Benzophenone‐3 (BZ‐3), camphor 4‐methylbenzylidene (MBC) and 2‐ethylhexyl‐4‐methoxycinnamate (OMC) in cosmetic samples. The electrochemical system consisted of a cell with three electrodes: work – gold electrode modified, reference – Ag/AgCl(sat) and auxiliary – platinum, using as supporting electrolyte 4.0 mL of Britton Robinson Buffer 0.04 mol L?1 (pH=4.0), 1.0 mL of methanol and 5.50×10?4 mol L?1 of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The method was validated using three commercial sunscreen samples and the results showed recovery values between 83 and 98 %. The average values found for the analysed samples were 3.49 % m/m (728 mg L?1) to BZ‐3, 0.56 % m/m (113 mg L?1) to MBC and 0.99 % m/m (208 mg L?1) to OMC. The detection (DL) and quantification (QL) limits were 0.47 mg L?1 and 1.56 mg L?1 to BZ‐3, 0.77 mg L?1 and 2.58 mg L?1 to MBC and 0.78 mg L?1 and 2.59 mg L?1 to OMC, respectively. The sunscreen protector samples were also evaluated by high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) demonstrating a good correlation between the results and compared the results with allowed concentration.  相似文献

Optical tweezers are employed to measure the forces of interaction within a single pair of DNA-grafted colloids, dependent on the molecular weight of the DNA chains, and the concentration and valence of the surrounding ionic medium. The resulting forces are short range and set in as the surface-to-surface distance between the colloidal cores reaches the value of the brush height. The measured force-distance relation is analyzed by means of a theoretical treatment that quantitatively describes the effects of compression of the chains on the surface of the opposite-lying colloid. Quantitative agreement with the experiment is obtained for all parameter combinations.  相似文献

To assess the bioequivalence of two zolpidem hemitartrate formulations in 30 healthy volunteers. Plasma samples were obtained over a 24 h period. Plasma concentrations of zolpidem were analyzed by liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry with positive ion electrospray ionization using multiple reaction monitoring. Values of peak concentration (Cmax), area under curve (AUC), half-life, elimination constant, volume of distribution and clearance showed statistically significant differences when comparing women (604.34 ng h/ml, 127.36 ng/ml, 4.4 h, 0.18 1/h, 50.56 L and 8.55 L/h, respectively) and men (276.1 ng h/ml, 70.9 ng/ml, 3.3 h, 0.26 1/h, 91.42 L and 24.34 L/h, respectively), receiving the same dose (5 mg), respectively. The geometric means with corresponding 90% confidence interval for Test/Reference percentage ratios were 99.73% (CI 93.69–106.16) for Cmax, 97.44% (90% CI = 91.85–103.37%) for area under curve of plasma concentration until the last concentration observed (AUClast) and 98.30% (90% CI = 92.48–104.49) for the area under curve between the first sample (pre-dosage) and infinity (AUC0–inf). Since the 90% CI for AUClast, AUC0–inf and Cmax ratios were within the 80–125% interval proposed by the US Food and Drug Administration, it was concluded that zolpidem hemitartrate formulation (5 mg orodispersible tablet) is bioequivalent to the zolpidem hemitartrate formulation (Patz SL 5 mg sublingual tablet) with regard to both the rate and the extent of absorption. A new formulation of zolpidem 2.5 mg may be useful in women for the same clinical benefits as the 5 mg formulation in men.  相似文献

A boundary‐fitted moving mesh scheme is presented for the simulation of two‐phase flow in two‐dimensional and axisymmetric geometries. The incompressible Navier‐Stokes equations are solved using the finite element method, and the mini element is used to satisfy the inf‐sup condition. The interface between the phases is represented explicitly by an interface adapted mesh, thus allowing a sharp transition of the fluid properties. Surface tension is modelled as a volume force and is discretized in a consistent manner, thus allowing to obtain exact equilibrium (up to rounding errors) with the pressure gradient. This is demonstrated for a spherical droplet moving in a constant flow field. The curvature of the interface, required for the surface tension term, is efficiently computed with simple but very accurate geometric formulas. An adaptive moving mesh technique, where smoothing mesh velocities and remeshing are used to preserve the mesh quality, is developed and presented. Mesh refinement strategies, allowing tailoring of the refinement of the computational mesh, are also discussed. Accuracy and robustness of the present method are demonstrated on several validation test cases. The method is developed with the prospect of being applied to microfluidic flows and the simulation of microchannel evaporators used for electronics cooling. Therefore, the simulation results for the flow of a bubble in a microchannel are presented and compared to experimental data.  相似文献

45S5 bioglass has been widely studied in the last few decades because of its bioactivity and promising applications in the biomedical field. Boron, even few studied, represents a potential element to improve the properties of the 45S5 bioglass derivatives. The bioglasses are conventionally prepared by heat treatment of oxides and silicon. Here, the sol?gel method is proposed for the preparation of the boron-based 45S5 bioglass (45S5B) and the classical 45S5 bioglass (45S5), using water-soluble salts as raw materials. The bioglasses were characterized by FTIR, XRD, and SEM, indicating the success of the sol?gel method for preparation of the samples. The bioglasses were also tested in vitro for bioactivity in biological conditions and cytotoxicity against eukaryotic cells. The bioactivity of 45S5B was similar to the bioactivity of 45S5 bioglass, indicated by the deposition of hydroxyapatite crystals at the surface of the pristine bioglasses. The results of cytotoxicity tests revealed that the IC50 of 45S5B (IC50?=?7.56?mg?mL?1) was similar to the IC50 of 45S5 (IC50?=?8.15?mg?mL?1), indicating its safety for application in the biomedical field.  相似文献

Abstract

A new mononuclear complex of zinc(II), [Zn(HL)2]?2DMF (H2L = (E)-N′-((E)-(hydroxyimino)butan-2-ylidene)salicyloylhydrazide, DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide), was prepared and characterized. Single-crystal X-ray crystallography revealed a six-coordinate zinc(II) surrounded by nitrogen of the oxime function and oxygen and distal nitrogens of the acylhydrazone group. This entity also exists in solution as demonstrated by 1H-NMR and potentiometric titrations. The computational analysis showed that the molecular orbitals involved in the main electronic transitions of the complex species in solution are centered on the ligand with negligible contribution of the metal ion. The photophysical properties of the complex were evaluated in solution and in the solid state. Luminescence studies showed that the solid has a strong emission at 550 nm with a large Stokes shift with respect to absorption. The solid state fluorescence emission is ascribed to ligand-centered and/or ligand-to-ligand charge transfer transitions, following the DFT results in solution. A comparison with a previously reported mononuclear [Zn(HL)2] allowed the investigation of the influence of DMF molecules in the structural packing and the luminescence properties.  相似文献
