Physiochemical properties of the fabricated scaffolds play a crucial role in influencing the cellular response for the new tissue growth. In this study, electrospun polyurethane (PU) scaffolds incorporated with green synthesized nickel oxide nanoparticles and groundnut oil (GO) were fabricated using electrospinning technique. First, synthesis of nickel oxide (NiO) was done using leaf extract of Plectranthus amboinicus (PA) via microwave-assisted technique. Synthesized nanoparticles were confirmed through Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) analysis and size of the particles were in the range of 800–950?nm. Fiber morphology of the fabricated scaffolds was analyzed using scanning electron microscope (SEM) which showed decrease in fiber diameter for the fabricated composites compared to the pristine PU. The wettability studies showed an increase in contact angle for developed composites than the pure PU. Thermal analysis depicted an increase in thermal behavior for the PU/GO/NiO compared to the pristine PU. Surface roughness values were obtained through atomic force microscopy (AFM) which showed a decrease in roughness while adding GO and NiO to the PU. Finally, the fabricated composites showed enhanced deposition of calcium content than the pristine PU. These results corroborated that the developed composites have a significant effect on the fiber morphology, wettability, thermal behavior, surface roughness, and mineral deposition depicting its versatility for bone regeneration. 相似文献

In‐depth understanding of the biophysicochemical interactions at the nano–bio interface is important for basic cell biology and applications in nanomedicine and nanobiosensors. Here, the extracellular surface potential and topography changes of live cell membranes interacting with polymeric nanomaterials using a scanning ion conductance microscopy‐based potential imaging technique are investigated. Two structurally similar amphiphilic conjugated polymer nanoparticles (CPNs) containing different functional groups (i.e., primary amine versus guanidine) are used to study incubation time and functional group‐dependent extracellular surface potential and topographic changes. Transmembrane pores, which induce significant changes in potential, only appear transiently in the live cell membranes during the initial interactions. The cells are able to self‐repair the damaged membrane and become resilient to prolonged CPN exposure. This study provides an important observation on how the cells interact with and respond to extracellular polymeric nanomaterials at the early stage. This study also demonstrates that extracellular surface potential imaging can provide a new insight to help understand the complicated interactions at the nano–bio interface and the following cellular responses. 相似文献

A novel and simple method is proposed for the determination of tetracycline by adsorptive voltammetry in a droplet using a carbon nanotube paste rotating disk electrode (CNTP-RDE). An enhanced electrochemical oxidation response of tetracycline was observed in pH 8.2 supporting electrolyte by the addition of a long-chain cationic surfactant, such as benzyldimethyltetradecylammonium chloride (zephiramine). Under the optimized experimental conditions, the calibration curve was linear across a tetracycline concentration range from 1.0?×?10?7 to 2.0?×?10?6 M. The limit of detection and sensitivity were 4.0?×?10?8 M and 0.9358?A M?1, respectively. This method was successfully employed for the determination of tetracycline in milk samples. 相似文献

A series of novel 8‐aryl‐2‐morpholino quinazolines ( 11a – n , 12a – d , 14a – f , and 15 ) were synthesized from the precursor 2‐thioxo quinazolin‐4‐ones 8 . The 8‐aryl‐2‐morpholino quinazolines compounds were assayed for DNA‐PK and PI3K. All compounds showed low DNA‐PK % inhibition activity at 10 μM compound concertation, and the most active was 8‐(dibenzo[b,d]thiophen‐4‐yl) 12d with 38% inhibition. Similar pattern of PI3K α, β, γ, and δ isoforms inhibition activity at 10 μM were observed. The most active isoform was PI3K δ of 41% inhibition for 8‐(dibenzo[b,d]furan‐4‐yl) compound 11 . Most compounds were less active than expected in spite of the strong structural resemblance to known inhibitors ( NU7441 , 3 , 4 , and 6 ). Loss of activity could be attributed to the tautomerization to the aromatic enol (4‐OH), which could specify that the important functional group for the activity is the 4‐carbonyl (C=O) group. Alternatively, the aromatization of the pyrimidine heterocyclic ring could alter the conformation, and thus binding site, of the 2‐morpholine ring, which could reduce the compound‐receptor hydrogen bonding to the morpholine 4‐oxygen. Selected compounds displayed appreciable cytotoxicity with 6‐chloro‐8‐(dibenzo[b,d]thiophen‐4‐yl)‐2‐morpholinoquinazolin‐4(1H)‐one 11j exhibiting the greatest activity with an IC50 of 9.95 μM. Therefore, the mechanism of the cytotoxicity of compound 11j were not through DNA‐PK or PI3K inhibition activity. 相似文献

A novel series of (4‐fluorophenyl)(4‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)‐6‐aryl‐2‐thioxo‐2,3‐dihydropyrimidin‐1(6H)‐yl)methanone derivatives were synthesized from reaction of 6‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)‐4‐aryl‐3,4‐dihydropyrimidine‐2(1H)‐thiones with 4‐fluorobenzoylchloride in dichloromethane in the presence of triethylamine. The synthesized compounds were screened for antibacterial activity against Gram positive bacteria, namely, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923 and Listeria monocytogenes MTCC657, and Gram negative bacteria, namely, Escherichia coli ATCC25922 and Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC700603, respectively. Perovskite solar cell is a kind of revolutionary investigation in the field of renewable energy which is capable of mitigates the deficiencies of silicon solar cell and its uprising efficiency can bring blessing to society. The presence of lead (Pb) in perovskite solar cell can make worst and negative impact on environment and is not desirable for our society. In this paper, general plans are anticipated by replacement of Pb with tin (Sn) in open atmosphere to fabricate the CH3NH3SnCl3 photovoltaic cells in chlorine (Cl)-rich environment. Excess uses of Cl has positive influences on morphological growth of the film and it also suppresses the oxidation tendency of tin (Sn) with existing oxygen in atmosphere and maintains same chemical atmosphere as bulk. Various characterization tools like X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope (SEM) have been used to study the effect of annealing temperature on crystal stricture, phase formation, impurities, and morphologies of the film. Proposition of an Environment Friendly Triple Junction Solar Cell Based on Earth Abundant CBTSSe/CZTS/ACZTSe Materials 下载免费PDF全文
We propose a triple junction CBTSSe/CZTS/ACZTSe solar cell using earth abundant and non‐toxic CBTSSe, CZTS, and ACZTSe as the primary absorbing layers for top, middle, and bottom cells, respectively. Using rigorous optoelectronic simulation, we analyze the performance of the proposed cell and vary absorber thicknesses in order to maximize its efficiency. The maximum obtainable efficiency is calculated to be 36.04% with 2.73 V open circuit voltage, 17.88 mA cm?2 short circuit current density, and 73.7% fill factor including Shockley–Read–Hall, surface and radiative recombination mechanisms. The maximum achievable efficiency can be obtained from an optimized device structure with 250, 300, and 1000 nm thicknesses of CBTSSe, CZTS, and ACZTSe, respectively. The design and analyses presented in this work would help in achieving highly efficient eco‐friendly inorganic solar cells. 相似文献
