In this paper, we consider the combined effects of cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses on the competition dynamics of two Simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) strains model. One of strains concerns a relatively slowly replicating and mildly cytopathic virus in the early infection (SIVMneCL8), the other is faster replicating and more cytopathic virus at later stages of the infection (SIVMne170). It is shown that the global dynamics of the ordinary differential equations can be determined by several threshold parameters, and we prove the global stability of the equilibria by rigorous mathematical analysis. To account for a series of infection mechanism leading to viral production, we incorporate time delays in the infection term. Using the methods of constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle’s invariance principle, we obtain the sufficient conditions for the global attractiveness of infection-free equilibrium with both virus strains going extinct, single-infection equilibrium with one of two virus strains out-competing the other one and the two strains coexisting infection equilibrium. We establish that the intracellular delays can destabilize the single-infection equilibrium leading to Hopf bifurcation and periodic oscillations. We show that introduction of immune responses is responsible for the coexistence of two virus strains and the intracellular delays may alter the two-strain competition results. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the theoretical conclusions.  相似文献

The adhesion, stability, electronic structure, and bonding of Fe/WC interfaces were studied using first-principles calculations. The preferred stacking sequence is HCP structure that Fe atoms continue the natural stacking sequence of the bulk WC. For two different interfaces with HCP stacking geometry (C-HCP and W-HCP), the work of adhesion of the optimized Fe/WC interfaces are 9.7 J m−2 for C-HCP and 5.1 J m−2 for W-HCP, respectively. The effects of the interface on the electronic structures of both the metal Fe and ceramic WC are mainly localized within the first and second layers of the interface. C-HCP interface has strong covalency and W-HCP interface is dominated by metallic bonds. The magnetic moments of Fe atoms at interface are decreased in both interfaces. Calculations of the interfacial energies provide theoretical evidence for the excellent wear behaviors of Fe/WC composites. Besides, the chemical bonding properties for the interfacial atoms are also discussed in this paper based on Milliken population method.  相似文献

以羟丙基-β-环糊精为手性添加剂,采用反相高效液相色谱法对2-取代芳基丙酸类物质进行了手性拆分。考察了流动相的组成,包括缓冲溶液、有机改性剂以及添加剂的浓度等。缓冲溶液的pH值、有机改性剂的种类与浓度,以及添加剂的浓度对色谱峰的保留时间和分离度均有较大的影响。以YMC ODS-C_(18)(150 mm×4.6 mm,5μm)为色谱柱,乙腈-0.10 mol/L磷酸盐缓冲液(pH 3.3,含25 mmol/L添加剂)为流动相,测定了各2-取代芳基丙酸与羟丙基-β-环糊精的包结常数,考察了羟丙基-β-环糊精对各物质的包结形式。实验结果表明,羟丙基-β-环糊精与各对映体均以1∶1的形式包结,同时发现推电子取代基更有利于羟丙基-β-环糊精的包结行为,为羟丙基-β-环糊精对手性拆分的影响提供了一个有利的参考因素。  相似文献

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play an important regulatory role in cells and dysregulation of miRNA has been associated with a variety of diseases, making them a promising biomarker. In this work, a novel biosensing strategy has been developed for label-free detection of miRNA using surface plasmon resonance (SPR) coupled with DNA super-sandwich assemblies and biotin–strepavidin based amplification. The target miRNA is selectively captured by surface-bound DNA probes. After hybridization, streptavidin is employed for signal amplification via binding with biotin on the long DNA super-sandwich assemblies, resulting in a large increase of the SPR signal. The method shows very high sensitivity, capable of detecting miRNA at the concentration down to 9 pM with a wide dynamic range of 6 orders of magnitude (from 1 × 10−11 M to 1 × 10−6 M) in 30 min, and excellent specificity with discriminating a single base mismatched miRNA sequence. This biosensor exhibits good reproducibility and precision, and has been successfully applied to the detection of miRNA in total RNA samples extracted from human breast adenocarcinoma MCF-7 cells. It, therefore, offers a highly effective alternative approach for miRNA detection in biomedical research and clinical diagnosis.  相似文献

In this study, the optical, electrochemical, electrolumiscent, and photovoltaic properties of a series of poly(p‐phenylene vinylene) (PPV) derivatives bearing different dendritic pendants, poly{2‐[3′,5′‐bis(2″‐ethylhexyloxy)benzyloxy]‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene} (BE‐PPV), poly{2‐[2′,5′‐bis(3″,7″‐dimethyl)octyloxy]‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene} (BD‐PPV), poly[2‐methoxy‐5‐(2′‐ethylhexyloxy)‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene] (MEH‐PPV), poly{2‐[3′,5′‐bis(2″‐ethylhexyloxy)benzyloxy]‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene}‐co‐poly[2‐methoxy‐5‐(2′‐ethylhexyloxy)‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene] (BE‐co‐MEH‐PPV), and poly{2‐[2′,5′‐bis(3″,7″‐dimethyl)octyloxy]‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene}‐co‐poly[2‐methoxy‐5‐(3′,7′‐dimethyloctyloxy)‐1,4‐phenylenevinylene] (BD‐co‐MDMO‐PPV), were investigated. The steric pendants strongly affect the absorption spectra, photoluminescence (PL) sepctra, the onset oxidation/reduction potentials, and further affect the electrolumiscent and photovoltaic properties. Copolymerization can reduce the steric effect and improve the electrolumiscent and photovoltaic properties. The brightness of light‐emitting diodes base on copolymer BE‐co‐MEH‐PPV and BD‐co‐MDMO‐PPV reached 3988 and 3864 cd/m2, respectively, much higher than that based on homopolymer BE‐PPV (523 cd/m2) and BD‐PPV (333 cd/m2), also higher than that based on MEH‐PPV (3788 cd/m2). The power conversion efficiency (PCE) of solar cells based on BE‐co‐MEH‐PPV and BD‐co‐MDMO‐PPV reached 1.41, 0.76%, respectively, much higher than that based on BE‐PPV (0.24%) and BD‐PPV (0.14%). The doping process and thermoelectric properties of donor-acceptor(D-A)type copolymers are investigated with the representative poly([2,6-4,8-di(5-ethylhexylthienyl)benzo[1,2-b;3,3-b]dithiophene]3-fluoro-2-[(2-ethylhexyl)-carbonyl]thieno[3,4-b]thiophenediyl))(PTB7-Th).The PTB7-Th is doped by Fe Cl;and only polarons are induced in its doped films.The results reveal that the electron-rich donor units within PTB7-Th lose electrons preferentially at the initial stage of the oxidation and then the acceptor units begin to be oxidized at a high doping concentration.The energy levels of polarons and the Fermi level of the doped PTB7-Th remain almost unchange with different doping levels.However,the morphology of the PTB7-Th films could be deteriorated as the doping levels are improved,which is one of the main reasons for the decrease of electrical conductivity at the later stage of doping.The best electrical conductivity and power factor are obtained to be 42.3 S·cm-1;and 33.9μW·mK-1,respectively,in the doped PTB7-Th film at room temperature.The power factor is further improved to 38.3μW·mK-1;at 75℃.This work may provide meaningful experience for development of D-A type thermoelectric copolymers and may further improve the doping efficiency.  相似文献

In the present study, photoresponsive surface molecularly imprinted poly(ether sulfone) microfibers are prepared via nitration reaction, the wet-spinning technique, surface nitro reduction reaction, and surface diazotation reaction for the selectively photoregulated uptake and release of 4-hydrobenzoic acid. The prepared molecularly imprinted microfibers show selective binding to 4-HA under irradiation at 450 nm and release under irradiation at 365 nm. The simple, convenient, effective, and productive method for the preparation of azo-containing photoresponsive material is also applied to the modification of polysulfone and poly(ether ether ketone). All three benzene-ring-containing polymers show significant photoresponsibility after the azo modification.  相似文献

In this article, we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for permanence and extinction of a two-species Lotka-Volterra system with different discrete delays. We improve some previous results.
