The topological properties of the spatial coherence function are investigated rigorously. The phase singular structures (coherence vortices) of coherence function can be naturally deduced from the topological current, which is an abstract mathematical object studied previously. We find that coherence vortices are characterized by the Hopf index and Brouwer degree in topology. The coherence flux quantization and the linking of the closed coherence vortices are also studied from the topological properties of the spatial coherence function. 相似文献

Magnetic properties and magnetocaloric effect of compound PrFe 12 B 6 are investigated.The coexistence of hard phase PrFe 12 B 6 and soft phase α-Fe causes interesting phenomena on the curves for the temperature dependence of magnetization.PrFe 12 B 6 experiences a first order phase transition at the Curie temperature 200 K,accompanied by an obvious lattice contraction,which in turn results in a large magnetic entropy change.The Maxwell relation fails to give the correct information about magnetic entropy change due to the first order phase transition nature.The large magnetic entropy changes of PrFe 12.3 B 4.7 obtained from heat capacity method are 11.7 and 16.2 J/kg.K for magnetic field changes of 0-2 T and 0-5 T respectively. 相似文献

Interfacial barrier is a key factor that determines the performances of heterojunctions.In this work,we study the effect of manganite film thickness on the effective interfacial barrier for La 0.67 Sr 0.33 MnO 3 /Nb:SrTiO 3 junctions.The barrier is extracted from the forward current-voltage characteristics.Our results demonstrate that the barrier decreases gradually from ~0.85 eV to ~0.60 eV when the film thickness decreases from 150 nm to 2 nm.The overall value of the barrier is only about 50% of the corresponding one determined from the photovoltaic effect. 相似文献
