Effect of doping at Ti4+ site by Ce3+ has been examined in CaCu3Ti3.90Ce0.10O12 synthesized by citrate-gel route. DTA/TG analysis of dry powder gives pre-information about formation of final product around 850 °C. X ray diffraction analysis confirmed the formation of CaCu3Ti3.90Ce0.10O12 phase of the ceramic sintered at 950 °C for 12 h. Microstructure has been studied using scanning electron microscopy and confirmed the average grain size found in nano range 200–400 nm in system CaCu3Ti3.90Ce0.10O12.The nature of relaxation behavior of ceramic was also rationalized by using the impedance and modulus spectroscopy. The bulk conductivity indicates an Arrhenius-type thermally activated process. The ac conductivity spectrum obeyed the Jonscher power law. The complex impedance diagrams of the ceramic exhibited a significant contribution from the grains, grain boundaries and electrode. The activation energies calculated from the grain-boundary relaxation time constant was found to be 0.49 eV which confirmed the Maxwell–Wagner type of relaxation present in the ceramic. 相似文献
In chronic wounds, elevated human neutrophil elastase (HNE) is a destructive protease that has been proposed as a biomarker. Numerous wound dressing designs have been introduced in an effort to lower HNE levels. The clinical detection of HNE as a point of care biomarker or an in situ colorimetric adjuvant to chronic wound dressings presents potential advantages in the management of chronic wounds. A colorimetric approach to the detection of HNE using peptide conjugated cotton cellulose nanocrystals (CCN) is reported here. For this purpose a HNE tripeptide substrate, n-Succinyl-Alanine–Alanine-Valine-para-nitroanilide (Suc-Ala–Ala-Val-pNA), was covalently attached to glycine esterified CCN and compared with a similar tetrapeptide analog for colorimetric HNE sensor activity. Visible HNE activity was significantly higher on CCN tripeptide conjugates when compared with similar analogs synthesized on paper. Upon enzymatic release of para-nitroaniline (pNA) from the Glycine-CCN conjugate of succinyl-Ala–Ala-Val-pNA, amplification of the colorimetric response from pNA with reactive dyes enhanced visible absorption of the chromogen. Two color amplifying dyes that react with pNA were compared for their ability to enhance the visual sensor response to HNE activity. The colorimetric detection of HNE with CCN tripeptide conjugates was sensitive at HNE levels previously reported in chronic wound fluid (0.05 U/mL HNE). The HNE sensor and the chromogen amplifying dyes were interfaced with 50 and 10 kD dialysis cellulose membranes (DCM) to model filtration of HNE and chromogen (pNA) from a model wound dressing surface before and after sensor reactivity. The detection sensitivity to HNE activity was assessed with the CCN-tripeptide conjugate interfaced at the DCM surface distal and proximal to a dressing surface. The HNE sensor interfaced proximal to the dressing surface was most efficient with 10 kD membrane filtration of pNA and subsequent reaction with amplifying dyes. When interfaced with the 10 kD cellulose membrane, elastase sensor activity remained sensitive to 0.05 U/mL HNE. The nanocellulose surface properties, performance and design issues of the biosensor approach are discussed. 相似文献
A simple, convenient and efficient protocol for the construction of an array of glycospiro-pyrroloisoquinolines using isoquinolinium ylide and a carbohydrate-derived exocyclic olefin in the presence of Cu(OTf)2–Et3N catalytic system is described. Isoquinoline and alkylbromoacetates/2-bromoacetophenones were employed to generate the azomethine ylides in the presence of Et3N in refluxing toluene and subsequent exposure to the olefin led to the desired isoquinoline derivatives. 相似文献
This work reports a new imidazolium and l-alanine derived copolymer-grafted silica stationary phase for ready separation of complex isomers using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). For this purpose, 1-allyl-3-octadecylimidazolium bromide ([AyImC18]Br) and N-acryloyl-l-alanine sodium salt ([AAL]Na) ionic liquids (IL) monomers were synthesized. Subsequently, the bromide counteranion was exchanged with the 2-(acrylamido)propanoate organic counteranion by reacting the [AyImC18]Br with excess [AAL]Na in water. The obtained IL cation–anion monomer pair was then copolymerized on mercaptopropyl-modified silica (Sil-MPS) via a surface-initiated radical chain-transfer reaction. The selective retention behaviors of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), including some positional isomers, steroids, and nucleobases were investigated using the newly obtained Sil-poly(ImC18-AAL), and octadecyl silylated silica (ODS) was used as the reference column. Interesting results were obtained for the separation of PAHs, steroids, and nucleobases with the new organic phase. The results showed that the Sil-poly(ImC18-AAL) presented multiple noncovalent interactions, including hydrophobic, π–π, carbonyl–π, and ion–dipole interactions for the separation of PAHs and dipolar compounds. Only pure water was sufficient as the mobile phase for the separation of the nucleobases. Ten nucleosides and bases were separated, using only water as the mobile phase, within a very short time using the Sil-poly(ImC18-AAL), which is otherwise difficult to achieve using conventional hydrophobic columns such as ODS. The combination of electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions are important for the effective separation of such basic compounds without the use of any organic additive as the eluent on the Sil-poly(ImC18-AAL) column.

BackgroundThe recent pandemic by COVID-19 is a global threat to human health. The disease is caused by SARS-CoV-2 and the infection rate is increased more quickly than MERS and SARS as their rapid adaptation to varied climatic conditions through rapid mutations. It becomes more severe due to the lack of proper therapeutic drugs, insufficient diagnostic tool, scarcity of appropriate drug, life supporting medical facility and mostly lack of awareness. Therefore, preventive measure is one of the important strategies to control. In this context, herbal medicinal plants received a noticeable attention to treat COVID-19 in Indian subcontinent. Here, 44 Indian traditional plants have been discussed with their novel phytochemicals that prevent the novel corona virus. The basic of SARS-CoV-2, their common way of transmission including their effect on immune and nervous system have been discussed. We have analysed their mechanism of action against COVID-19 following in-silico analysis. Their probable mechanism and therapeutic approaches behind the activity of phytochemicals to stimulate immune response as well as inhibition of viral multiplication discussed rationally. Thus, mixtures of active secondary metabolites/phytochemicals are the only choice to prevent the disease in countries where vaccination will take long time due to overcrowded population density. 相似文献

Nanostructures formed in a titanium dioxide (TiO2)–poly(styrene)‐block‐poly(ethyleneoxide) nanocomposite film on top of fluor‐doped tin oxide (FTO) layers are investigated. The combinatorial approach is based on probing a wedge‐shaped FTO‐gradient with grazing incidence small angle X‐ray scattering (GISAXS) in combination with a moderate micro‐focus X‐ray beam. The characteristic lateral length is given by adjacent nanowire‐shaped TiO2 regions. It decreases from 200 nm on the thick FTO layer to 90 nm on the bare glass surface.
