The crystal structures of two ortho-hydroxy ketones (5-chloro-2-hydroxyacetophenone (I K) and 3,5-dichloro-2-hydroxyacetophenone (II K)) have been determined with X-ray diffraction at 100 K. A comparison of steric effects on properties of pseudoaromatic hydrogen bonds in ortho-hydroxy acetophenone and ortho-hydroxy ketimines have been carried out with the application of crystallographic data.

We have carried out solvolysis of the previously described ethyl esters of 3-methyl(aryl)-4-methyl-2-thioxothiazoline-5-carboxylic acids, leading to the corresponding acids without breaking down the heterocycle. We synthesized a series of novel esters from the latter by treatment with dimethyl sulfate or reactive halides. Of these, only in the case of the ethyl ester of 3,4-dimethyl-2-thioxothiazoline-5-carboxylic acid did we obtain the hydrazinolysis product (the hydrazide), from which we synthesized novel hydrazones by treatment with aldehydes and ketones. 相似文献

The chemical heterogeneity of polyphenylenes obtained by trimerization poiycycio-condensation of acetylaromatic compounds has been investigated by GLC-MS analysis of the products of trimerization cyclocondensation of acetophenone. The mechanism for the formation of side products of the reaction is discussed. The reductions of several substituted acetophenones using supercritical 2-propanol were carried out to estimate the Hammett's reaction constant (ρ=0.33). Also, the reduction of acetophenone using supercritical deuteriated 2-propanol was carried out to determine the rate-determining step. The kinetic isotope effects were observed in the reduction using 2-deuterio-2-propanol (kH/kD=1.6) and O-deuterio-2-propanol (kH/kD=2.0). These findings suggest that the reaction proceeds via a cyclic transition state between acetophenone and 2-propanol similar to that of the Meerwein-Ponndorf-Verley reduction. 相似文献

Transfer hydrogenation of aryl ketones with homogeneous ruthenium catalysts containing diazafluorene ligands 下载免费PDF全文
Novel cationic ruthenium(II) complexes bearing a 4,5‐diazafluorene unit and p‐cymene as ligands have been synthesised. The complexes were characterised based on elemental analysis and Fourier transform infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies. The synthesised Ru(II) complexes were employed as pre‐catalysts for the transfer hydrogenation of aromatic ketones using 2‐propanol as both hydrogen source and solvent in the presence of NaOH. All complexes showed high catalytic activity as catalysts in the reduction of substituted acetophenones to corresponding secondary alcohols. The products of catalysis were obtained with conversion rates of between 80 and 99%. Among the seven new complexes investigated, the most efficient catalyst showed turnover frequencies in the range 255–291 h?1 corresponding to 85 to 97% conversion, respectively. Hydrogenation of acetophenone over nano‐Cu/SiO2 catalysts was investigated. The catalysts, prepared by a liquid precipitation method using various precipitating agents, were characterized using low‐temperature nitrogen adsorption, X‐ray diffraction, temperature‐programmed desorption of ammonia, hydrogen temperature‐programmed reduction, transmission electron microscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was found that the catalysts prepared by a homogeneous precipitation method had better activity and stability than those prepared by a co‐precipitation method. The catalyst prepared using urea as precipitating agent had well‐dispersed copper species, high surface area and abundant pore structure. The catalytic performance and mechanism of the Cu/SiO2 catalysts were further studied. It was found that the activity and stability of the catalysts could be improved by adjusting the proportion of Cu+/(Cu+ + Cu0). The sample prepared using urea as precipitating agent presented higher activity and selectivity. Also, the catalyst prepared using urea maintained a high catalytic performance while being continuously used for 150 h under the optimal reaction conditions. 相似文献
