A transparent flame‐retardant unsaturated polyester resin (FR‐UPR) was obtained by reacting propylene glycol (PG) with maleic anhydride (MA), phthalic anhydride (PA), and 9,10‐dihydro‐10[2,3‐di(hydroxy carbonyl)propyl]‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide (DDP) synthesized from 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene 10‐oxide (DOPO) and itaconic acid (ITA). The chemical structure of the resulting FR‐UPR was confirmed by FTIR, 1H‐NMR and 31P‐NMR. The average molecular weight and viscosity of the FR‐UPR were determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and viscometer, respectively. Thermal stability was studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) both in air and nitrogen to determine the thermal decomposition mechanism, and the apparent activation energy (Ea) was calculated by both the Kissinger and Ozawa methods. Compared to unsaturated polyester resin (UPR), the higher Ea of FR‐UPR3 implied an improved thermal stability. According to variations of the limited oxygen index (LOI) values, the UL 94 rating of vertical burning test and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) photographs of char residues, the flame retardance of cured FR‐UPR was enhanced with increasing DDP content. The study of fire reaction tests, using a cone calorimeter, suggested that there was a significant reduction of flammability in the FR‐UPR. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A novel phosphorus‐containing monomer, (6‐oxido‐6H‐dibenzo[c,e][1,2]oxaphosphinin‐6‐yl)methyl acrylate (DOPO‐AA), is first synthesized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and 31P NMR. The monomer is then introduced into poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) matrix via in situ copolymerization to produce a new PMMA based copolymer (PMMA/DOPO‐AA). From UV–vis spectra, microscale combustion calorimeter (MCC) and thermogravimetric analyses (TGA) results, the as‐fabricated PMMA/DOPO‐AA copolymers not only keep relatively high transparency, but also exhibit remarkable improvements in the flame retardancy and thermal stability, such as increased T0.5 by 60.2°C and limited oxygen index (LOI) by 4.1, and decreased peak heat released rate (PHRR) by 34.7%. Thermal degradation behaviors investigated by real time Fourier transform infrared spectra (RTIR), char structure analysis studied by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and pyrolysis gaseous products studied by TGA coupled with FTIR (TGA‐FTIR) demonstrate that the catalytic charring function of DOPO‐AA in condensed phase and DOPO flame retardant systems in the gas phase are two key factors for the property enhancements. This work not only provides a promising flame‐retardant monomer for polymers, but also will stimulate more efforts on the development of DOPO‐containing flame‐retardant monomers. The synergistic effect of 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide (DOPO) immobilized silica (SiO2‐DOPO) nanoparticles with an intumescent flame retardant (IFR) on the flame retardancy of polypropylene (PP) was investigated by UL 94 vertical tests and limiting oxygen index (LOI) measurements. It was found that the PP/IFR composites (25 wt%) achieved the UL94 V0 grade and LOI increased to 32.1 with an incorporation of 1.0 wt% SiO2‐DOPO nanoparticles. Based on thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electronic microscopy and rheological analysis, it is speculated that three factors are mainly contributed to the improvement of the flame retardancy. First, the thermal stability of PP/IFR composites was improved by incorporating SiO2‐DOPO nanoparticles. Second, the presence of SiO2‐DOPO nanoparticles could induce the formation of a continuous char skin layer during combustion. The compact char layer could effectively impede the transport of bubbles and heat. Third, rheological analysis indicated that SiO2‐DOPO nanoparticles could increase viscosity of the PP/IFR composites, which was also benefited to increase flame retardancy. Herein, a bridged 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide (DOPO) derivative (PN‐DOPO) in combination with organ‐montmorillonite (OMMT) was used to improve the flame retardancy and mechanical properties of glass‐fiber‐reinforced polyamide 6 T (GFPA6T). The flame retardancy and thermal stabilities of the cured GFPA6T composites were investigated using limiting oxygen index, vertical burning (UL‐94) test, cone calorimeter test, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The morphological analysis and chemical composition of the char residues after cone calorimeter tests were characterized via scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometry. The results indicate that 2 wt% OMMT combined with 13 wt% PN‐DOPO in GFPA6T achieved a V‐0 rating in UL‐94 test. The peak heat release rate and total smoke release remarkably decreased with the incorporation of OMMT as compared to those of GFPA6T/15 wt% PN‐DOPO. The TGA results show that the thermal stability and residual mass of the samples effectively increased with the increase in OMMT content. The morphological analysis and composition structure of the residues demonstrate that a small amount of OMMT could help form a more thermally stable and compact char layer during combustion. Also, with the incorporation of OMMT, the layers consisted of more carbon‐silicon and aluminum phosphate char in the condensed phase. Furthermore, GFPA6T/PN‐DOPO/OMMT composites exhibited excellent mechanical properties in terms of flexural modulus, flexural strength, and impact strength than the GFPA6T/PN‐DOPO system. The combination of PN‐DOPO and OMMT has improved the flame retardancy and smoke suppression of GFPA6T without compromising the mechanical properties.  相似文献

A novel phosphorus-containing oligomeric flame retardant, poly(DOPO substituted hydroxyphenyl methanol pentaerythritol diphosphonate) (PDPDP) was synthesized and applied to flame retarded epoxy resins. The thermal degradation behaviors of flame retarded epoxy composites with PDPDP were investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), thermogravimetric analysis/infrared spectrometry (TG-FTIR) and direct pyrolysis-mass spectrometry (DP-MS) techniques. The identification of pyrolysis fragment ions provided insight into the flame retardant mechanism. The results showed that the mass loss rate of the EP/PDPDP composites was clearly lower than pure EP when the temperature was higher than 300 °C in air or nitrogen atmosphere. The results also suggested that the main decomposition fragment ions of the EP/PDPDP composite were H2O, CO2, CO, benzene, and phenol. The incorporation of PDPDP can reduce the release of combustible gas and induce the formation of char layer, hence the fire potential hazard was reduced.  相似文献

Epoxy resin (EP)/polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) hybrids were prepared based on octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (OVPOSS) and phosphorus‐containing epoxy resin (PCEP). The PCEP was synthesized via the reaction between bisphenol A epoxy resin (DGEBA) and 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide (DOPO). The structure and morphology of PCEP/OVPOSS hybrids were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Differential scanning calorimetry revealed that the PCEP/OVPOSS hybrids possessed higher glass transition temperatures than that of PCEP. The thermal stability of the PCEP/OVPOSS hybrids was studied using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The TGA results illustrated the synergistic effect of phosphorus–silicon of flame retardancy: phosphorus promotes the char formation, and silicon protects the char from thermal degradation. The thermal degradation mechanism of the PCEP/OVPOSS hybrids was investigated by real time Fourier transform infrared spectra and pyrolysis/gas chromatogram/mass spectrometry (Py‐GC/MS) analysis. It was found that OVPOSS migrated to the surface of the matrix and then sublimed from the surface in nitrogen; whereas, the vinyl groups of OVPOSS were oxidated to form a radical trap which could react with pyrolysis radicals derived from PCEP to form the branched and crosslinked structure in air. The combustion behaviors of the hybrids were evaluated by micro combustion calorimetry. The addition of OVPOSS obviously decreased the value of peak heat release rate and total heat release of the hybrids. Moreover, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to explore the char residues of the PCEP and the hybrids. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel inorganic and organic composite flame retardant (9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide [DOPO]–layered double hydroxide [LDH]) was synthesized via grafting DOPO with organic‐modified Mg/Al‐LDH, which was introduced into poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) resin to prepare the flame‐retardant PMMA composites. Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) showed that the T‐50% of DOPO‐LDH/PMMA composites enhanced by about 20°C, and with the 20% flame retardant, the residual char content can be increased by 39.8% in the air atmosphere compared with LDH/PMMA composites. In the UL‐94 and the limiting oxygen index (LOI) tests, it can be found that compared with LDH/PMMA composites, the LOI value of DOPO‐LDH/PMMA composites were raised evidently with the increased flame retardants, and the droplet combustion was greatly improved. These results could be ascribed to the action of DOPO free‐radical, catalytic charring of polymer and the effect of LDH physical barrier. Moreover, the novel DOPO‐LDH not only given PMMA a good flame‐retardant property and thermal stability, but also have higher visible light transmittance, ultraviolet‐shielding effect, and low loss of mechanical properties, which could further facilitate the wide application of inorganic environment‐friendly flame retardants in general resins and engineering resins and broaden the application of polymers.  相似文献

In this paper, an efficient flame retardant, 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide (DOPO) was covalently grafted onto the surface of expandable graphite (EG). The resultant DOPO‐grafted expandable graphite (EG‐g‐DOPO) was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), respectively. The thermal stability of EG‐g‐DOPO was also evaluated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Moreover, a series of flame‐retardant ultra‐high‐molecular‐weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composites with various concentrations of EG‐g‐DOPO were prepared and evaluated. The results show that the UHMWPE composite with 20 wt% EG‐g‐DOPO possesses a satisfactory UL‐94 flame‐retardant grade (V‐0) and a high limiting oxygen index (30.6%). The residual char of the UHMWPE composite with higher EG‐g‐DOPO concentration shows more compact and integrated, providing an efficient barrier for heat release.  相似文献

In this work, a DOPO‐based imidazolone derivative named DHI was synthesized using DOPO, 5‐amino‐2‐benzimidazolinone and 4‐hydroxybenzaldehyde as raw materials. The chemical structure of DHI was characterized by 1H‐NMR, 31P‐NMR and Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR). Then, a series of different flame‐retardant epoxy resin (EP) thermosets were prepared by mixing flame retardant DHI. The thermal properties of the cured EPs was investigated by thermogravimetry analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and the results showed the thermal stability and glass transition temperature (Tg) of the cured EP modified with DHI declined slightly compared with that of neat EP. The limited oxygen index (LOI) and UL94 test results exhibited DHI imparted good flame retardancy to EP. The EP‐4 (phosphorus content of 1.25%) possessed a LOI value of 36.5% and achieved a V‐0 rating. Furthermore, the peak of heat release rate (PHRR) and total heat release rate (THR) of EP‐4 decreased by 38.7% and 24.5%, respectively. Excitedly, the total smoke production (TSP) of EP‐4 sample declined by 62.5%, which meant DHI also made EP obtain excellent smoke suppression property. Moreover, the flame‐retardant mechanism was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and pyrolysis‐gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py‐GC/MS). It was reasonable inferred that DHI could not only promote EP to form dense char layer in condensed phase, but also restrain combustion in gaseous phase through catching the free radicals sourced from the degradation of EP.  相似文献

The unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) were usually applied in electronic equipment, but the intrinsic flammability severely retrained their application. A mono‐component flame retardant poly (piperazine methylphosphonic acid neopentylglycol ester) (PPMPNG) made in our lab was selected and applied to improve their flame retardant performance. The UPR thermosets achieved UL‐94 V‐0 grade during vertical burning tests and the limiting oxygen index was as high as 32.1% when 15 wt% PPMPNG was incorporated. PPMPNG promoted the decomposition and carbonization of UPR materials in advance during heating process, and the residual mass was effectively enhanced at high temperature. The flame retardant mechanism of UPR/PPMPNG thermosets was investigated by pyrolysis‐gas chromatography/mass spectrometry tests, and the measurement of the morphologies and chemical components of the char residue. The phosphine oxygen radical was generated and then quenched the active free radicals in gas phase. Moreover, the av‐EHC of FR‐UPR was declined from 15.8 MJ kg?1 of pure UPR to 8 9 MJ kg?1 corresponding a reduction of 43.6%, which also verified the flame retardant effect in gas phase. The compact, integrated, and graphitized char layer was produced on materials surface and then exerted excellent barrier effect in condensed phase. Thus, the UPR/PPMPNG composites were conferred superior flame retardant properties.  相似文献

Novel halogen‐free compounds [9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphanthrene‐10‐oxide/vinyl methyl dimethoxysilane/N‐β‐(aminoethyl)‐γ‐aminopropyl methyl dimethoxysilane (DOPO–VMDMS–NMDMS)] that simultaneously contain phosphorus, nitrogen, and silicon have been synthesized through the reaction of 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphanthrene‐10‐oxide (DOPO), vinyl methyl dimethoxysilane (VMDMS), and N‐β‐(aminoethyl)‐γ‐aminopropyl methyl dimethoxysilane (NMDMS). The chemical structure and properties of DOPO–VMDMS–NMDMS have been investigated with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, proton nuclear magnetic resonance, phosphorous nuclear magnetic resonance, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). These synthesized flame retardants have been blended with a poly[2,2‐propane‐(bisphenol) carbonate]/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC/ABS) alloy. The flame‐retardant properties of these mixture samples have been estimated with the limiting oxygen index (LOI), and the thermal stability has been characterized with TGA. The LOI value of PC/ABS/DOPO–VMDMS–NMDMS is enhanced up to 27.2 vol % from 21.2 vol %, and the char yield is also improved slightly (from 12 to 17%) with 2.8 wt % phosphorus, 3.0 wt % silicon, and 0.5 wt % nitrogen (at a 30 wt % loading of DOPO–VMDMS–NMDMS). The results show that there is a synergistic effect of the elements phosphorus, silicon, and nitrogen on the flame retardance. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The bisphenol A epoxy acrylate resin (EA) containing a small amount of layered double hydroxide (LDH) was cured within seconds under UV irradiation at ambient temperature. Its microstructure was characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The combustion behavior of the coating was examined by the Microscale Combustion Calorimeter (MCC) and limiting oxygen index (LOI). The results obtained from MCC and LOI indicated that the addition of LDH into EA could decrease the peak of heat release rate (HRR) for the films and increase the LOI value of the films. Thermal behavior of the cured films was studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The results for TGA indicated that with increase in the contents of LDH, the residual char of UV‐cured films increased at 600 °C. The evolved products for UV‐cured films were characterized using thermogravimetric analysis/infrared spectrometry (TGA‐IR). It was implied that the mechanism of thermal degradation for EA0 was different from EA4. Viscoelastic property of photo‐cured hybrid materials was evaluated by dynamic‐mechanical analysis. The effect of LDH on the properties of UV‐curable films was critically evaluated in this paper. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A novel phosphorus‐containing, nitrogen‐containing, and sulfur‐containing reactive flame retardant (BPD) was successfully synthesized by 1‐pot reaction. The intrinsic flame‐retardant epoxy resins were prepared by blending different content of BPD with diglycidyl ether of bisphenol‐A (DGEBA). Thermal stability, flame‐retardant properties, and combustion behaviors of EP/BPD thermosets were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), limited oxygen index (LOI) measurement, UL94 vertical burning test, and cone calorimeter test. The flame‐retardant mechanism of BPD was studied by TGA/infrared spectrometry (TGA‐FTIR), pyrolysis‐gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py‐GC/MS), morphology, and chemical component analysis of the char residues. The results demonstrated that EP/BPD thermosets not only exhibited outstanding flame retardancy but also kept high glass transition temperature. EP/BPD‐1.0 thermoset achieved LOI value of 39.1% and UL94 V‐0 rating. In comparison to pure epoxy thermoset, the average of heat release rate (av‐HRR), total heat release (THR), and total smoke release (TSR) of EP/BPD‐1.0 thermoset were decreased by 35.8%, 36.5% and 16.5%, respectively. Although the phosphorus content of EP/BPD‐0.75 thermoset was lower than that of EP/DOPO thermoset, EP/BPD‐0.75 thermoset exhibited better flame retardancy than EP/DOPO thermoset. The significant improvement of flame retardancy of EP/BPD thermosets was ascribed to the blocking effect of phosphorus‐rich intumescent char in condensed phase, and the quenching and diluting effects of abundant phosphorus‐containing free radicals and nitrogen/sulfur‐containing inert gases in gaseous phase. There was flame‐retardant synergism between phosphorus, nitrogen, and sulfur of BPD.  相似文献

Modified montmorillonite‐containing phytic acid (PA‐MMT) has been prepared by acid treatment and then introduced into unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) with an intumescent flame retardant (IFRs). The flame retardancy and thermal degradation of UPR/IFRs/PA‐MMT were evaluated by a limiting oxygen index (LOI) test, a vertical burning test (UL‐94), a thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and a cone calorimeter test (CCT). Besides, the mechanical properties were studied by a universal testing machine. The LOI value of UPR/IFRs/PA‐MMT composites was increased to 29.2%. The CCT results indicated that the incorporation of PA‐MMT and IFRs significantly improved the combustion behavior of UPR. The results of the mechanical properties indicated that 1.5 wt% loading of PA‐MMT in UPR/IFRs showed the highest improvement in flexural strength and tensile strength. The flame‐retardant mechanism of PA‐MMT/IFRs was examined and discussed based on the results of combustion behavior and char analysis.  相似文献

A novel epoxy system was developed through the in situ curing of bisphenol A type epoxy and 4,4′‐diaminodiphenylmethane with the sol–gel reaction of a phosphorus‐containing trimethoxysilane (DOPO–GPTMS), which was prepared from the reaction of 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide (DOPO) with 3‐glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTMS). The preparation of DOPO–GPTMS was confirmed with Fourier transform infrared, 1H and 31P NMR, and elemental analysis. The resulting organic–inorganic hybrid epoxy resins exhibited a high glass‐transition temperature (167 °C), good thermal stability over 320 °C, and a high limited oxygen index of 28.5. The synergism of phosphorus and silicon on flame retardance was observed. Moreover, the kinetics of the thermal oxidative degradation of the hybrid epoxy resins were studied. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 41: 2354–2367, 2003  相似文献

To achive excellent fire resistance, new microcapsule flame retardants (DMCAD and DMPPD) were prepared using 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide combined with melamine cyanurate or melamine polyphosphate as the shell material and diatomite as the core material. The successful assembly of DMCAD and DMPPD was detailed characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectra, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Meanwhile, the flame retardancy and thermal stability of the unsaturated polyester resin (UPR)/DMCAD and UPR/DMPPD composites were also studied. The addition of DMCAD and DMPPD effectively improves the flame retardance properties of UPR, and the effect of DMPPD was better. The limiting oxygen index (LOI) of UPR/DMPPD‐3 increased by 11.6% when compared with that of UPR, and the sample achieved V‐0 rating. Moreover, the peak heat release rate (pHRR) and the total heat release (THR) rate of UPR/DMPPD‐3 were reduced by 67% and 26%, respectively. Under nitrogen condition and air condition, UPR/DMPPD showed better thermal stability and char‐forming ability from the thermogravimetric (TG) results. Residual char of the UPR composites was systematically analyzed with SEM and XPS. Finally, the flame retardant mechanism of DMPPD was proposed.  相似文献

The 9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene‐10‐oxide (DOPO) polymers, melamine polymers, and DOPO‐melamine copolymers have been successfully synthesized, and their flame retarding properties have also been investigated by blending with polypropylene (PP)/styrene‐ethylene‐butylene‐styrene (SEBS) alloys. Experimental results establish that all of them are good polymeric flame retardants. No blooming or color stains occur when they are incorporated into PP/SEBS alloys. Among lab‐made polymeric flame retardants, DOPO‐ melamine copolymers exhibit the best thermal stability and nonflammability. PP/SEBS alloys containing DOPO‐melamine copolymers display comparable thermal resistance and flame retarding behavior (Td = 290°C; char yield: 15.6%, LOI: 23, and flammability: UL‐94 V0) as the alloys containing common commercial flame retardants (i.e., DOPO, melamine, and ammonium polyphosphate). Through addition reaction of Schiff‐base terephthalylidene‐bis‐(p‐aminophenol) ( DP‐1 ) and diethyl phosphite (DEP), a novel phosphorus‐modified epoxy, 4,4'‐diglycidyl‐(terephthalylidene‐bis‐(p‐aminophenol))diphosphonate ether ( EP‐2 ), was obtained. An modification reaction between EP‐2 and DP‐1 resulted in an epoxy compound, EP‐3 , possessing both phosphonate groups and C?N imine groups. The structure of EP‐2 was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), elemental analysis (EA), 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR analyses. The thermal properties of phosphorus‐modified epoxies cured with 4,4'‐diaminodiphenylmethane (MDA) and 4,4'‐diaminodiphenyl ether (DDE) were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The activation energies of dynamic thermal degradation (Ed) were calculated using Kissinger and Ozawa's methods. The thermal degradation mechanism was characterized using thermogravimetric analysis/infrared spectrometry (TG‐IR). In addition, the flame retardancy of phosphorus‐modified epoxy thermosets was evaluated using limiting oxygen index (LOI) and UL‐94 vertical test methods. Via an ingenious design, phosphonate groups were successfully introduced into the backbone of the epoxies; the flame retardancy of phosphorus‐modified epoxy thermosets was distinctly improved. Due to incorporation of C?N imine group, the phosphorus‐modified epoxy thermosets exhibited high thermal stabilities; the values of glass‐transition temperatures (Tgs) were about 201–210°C, the values of Ed were about 220–490 kJ/mol and char yields at 700°C were 49–53% in nitrogen and 45–50% in air. These results showed an improvement in the thermal properties of phosphorus‐modified epoxy by the incorporation of C?N imine groups. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Graphene‐polyaniline/nickel hydroxide ternary hybrid (RGO‐PANI/Ni(OH)2) was synthesized and incorporated into epoxy resin (EP) to improve the fire retardant property. Thermogravimetric analysis results showed that the RGO‐PANI/Ni(OH)2 nanohybrid could catalyze the thermal degradation of epoxy matrix that was essential to trigger the char formation. The char yield of the RGO‐PANI/Ni(OH)2/EP composite was improved compared with that of the samples with graphene and polyaniline only. With 3.0‐wt% RGO‐PANI/Ni(OH)2, significant reduction in peak heat release rate (40%) and peak smoke production rate (36%) was observed in the cone calorimeter tests. Thermogravimetric analysis/infrared spectrometry (TG‐IR) results indicated that the flammable volatiles of the RGO‐PANI/Ni(OH)2/EP composite was reduced compared with those of the EP and RGO‐PANI/EP. The superior flame retardant and smoke suppressant behaviors of the RGO‐PANI/Ni(OH)2 nanohybrid over RGO‐PANI were attributed to the combination of good barrier effect of graphene with catalytic ability of char formation of PANI and metal hydroxide.  相似文献
