The reaction of 1,1,1-tris(chloromethyl)propane with diphenylphosphine under phase-transfer conditions afforded 1,1,1-tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)propane, whose oxidation gave a previously unknown representative of trigonal tris(phosphine oxides), viz., stable 1,1,1-tris(diphenylphosphorylmethyl)propane. Its analogs, viz., bis(diphenylphosphoryl)diphenylphosphinomethane and tris(diphenylphosphoryl)methane, are unstable in air and decompose with the cleavage of the P-C bond.Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. In the superbase KOH/H2O/toluene/phase-transfer catalyst system, 2-picolyl chloride, generated in situ from 2-(chloromethyl)pyridine hydrochloride, reacts with elemental phosphorus at 65–95?°C for 3?h to afford tris(2-picolyl)phosphine oxide in 50% yield. Single crystal X-ray analysis of the latter revealed one polymorph form of this tertiary phosphine oxide.  相似文献

Abstract

Tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride (THPC) and sulfate (THPS) are of importance in the textile industry as flame retardants, in the oil industry as scale-removers, as biocides for water systems, in the leather industry as tanning agents, in nanochemistry as reductants and stabilizers of nanoparticles, and as oxygen-scavengers in medical uses. In the majority of cases, THPC and THPS themselves are not chemically active and solely play a role of reservoirs for the more reactive species tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphine (THP) and/or formaldehyde. The contents of THPC/THPS solutions greatly depend on pH, which is now recognized as a key factor, for example, in metal hydrosol preparations, biocidal activity, and ecotoxicity. This review is intended to reveal and explain the complex behavior of THP and (HOCH2)4P+ salts in aqueous solutions, conditions that might lead to potential hazardous compounds such as formaldehyde, hydrogen gas, phosphine PH3, and bis(chloromethyl)ether. Literature data on their toxicities are reviewed.  相似文献

Photolysis of [Me2SiSiMe2)[C5H4Fe(CO2)]2with a series of bis(phosphine)ligands Ph2P(CH2)n PPh2(n=1-4) leads to the formation of the corresponding diiron complexes with intramolecular and intermolecular bis(phosphine) substitution.When these complexes were heated in refluxing xylene.only in the complexes with intermolecular bis(phosphine )substitution the thermal rearrangement reaction occurred.  相似文献

A series of solvent mediators containing a phosphoryl (PO) group, such as tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate, bis(2-ethylhexyl) 2-ethylhexylphosphonate, 2-ethylhexyl bis(2-ethylhexyl)phosphinate, and tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphine oxide, were used to construct serotonin-selective membrane electrodes. We found that replacing the alkoxy groups attached to phosphorus atoms in PO groups with alkyl groups strengthened the response of the electrode to serotonin, suppressing remarkably interference from inorganic cations, such as Na+. Thus, an electrode combining tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphine oxide with an ion-exchanger, sodium tetrakis[3,5-bis(2-methoxyhexafluoro-2-propyl)phenyl]borate, gave a detection limit of 9 × 10−6 M with a slope of 55.2 mV per concentration decade in physiological saline containing 150 mM NaCl and 10 mM NaH2PO4/Na2HPO4 (pH 7.4). This is the best detection limit of any serotonin-selective electrode developed to date. The selectivity of this electrode for serotonin was over 103 times that for inorganic cations, such as Na+ and K+, and lipophilic quaternary ammonium ions, such as acetylcholine and (C2H5)4N+. Using the electrode, we measured the amount of serotonin released from platelets and found that the results agreed well with those obtained by a conventional fluorimetric assay of serotonin.  相似文献

The syntheses of dimethyl(furfuryloxymethyl)phosphine oxide (DPO), methylbis(furfuryloxymethyl)phosphine oxide (MPO), tris(furfuryloxymethyl)phosphine oxide (TPO), dimethyl(tetrahydrofurfuryloxymethyl)phosphine oxide (DTPO), methyl-bis(tetrahydrofurfuryloxymethyl)phosphine oxide (MTPO) and tris(tetrahydrofurfuryloxymethyl)phosphine oxide (TTPO) from dimethyl(chloromethyl)phosphine oxide, methyl-bis(chloromethyl)phosphine oxide, tris(chloromethyl)phosphine oxide and the furfuryl and tetrahydrofurfuryl sodium alkoxides via the Williamson reaction are reported. Phosphorus-containing furan polymers with reduced flammability are prepared by polymerizing MPO and TPO using p-toluenesulphonic acid as catalyst. The oxygen indexes of these polymers, as determined by ASTM D-2863, are 35.1 and 33.1% O2, respectively; for the phosphorus-free polymer from difurfurylidene acetone, it is 23.0% O2. It is shown that DPO can be used as an efficient fire-retardant for reducing the flammability of a polymer from difurfurylidenacetone.  相似文献

A new rhodium complex with a nitrogen‐containing bis(phosphine oxide) ligand has been synthesized. The complex was applied to hydroformylation of styrene and displayed high activity and regioselectivity towards the branched aldehyde, which was found to be higher than those of the tertiary bis(phosphine) analogue. Bis(2-phenylethyl)phosphine selenide was obtained with 86% yield from bis(2-phenylethyl)phosphine and selenium. XRD, IR, UV, and multinuclear NMR spectroscopic studies revealed that the phosphorus atom in the bis(2-phenylethyl)phosphine selenide molecule is four-coordinated irrespective of the phase state (crystals or solution).  相似文献

Kinetic studies on the stepwise phosphine sulfide formation reaction of the five-coordinate trigonal-bipyramidal Pd(II) complexes with the tripodal tetradentate phosphine ligand, [PdCl(pp3)]Cl and [Pd(4-Cltp)(pp3)](BF4) (pp3 = tris[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]phosphine; 4-Cltp = 4-chlorothiophenolate), were carried out, and it was revealed that the reactions proceeded via the intermediate with a pendant dissociated phosphino group. Formation of the intermediate was utilized for the bridging reaction onto Pt(II) to form the phosphine-bridged linear trinuclear and cyclic tetranuclear mixed-metal complexes. Difference in the steric conversion mechanism in the phosphine-bridging reaction between the linear tridentate phosphine (bis[2-(diphenylphosphino)ethyl]phenylphosphine) and pp3 is also reported.  相似文献

Rhodium-catalyzed hydroformylation of 1,5-hexadiene and 1,7-octadiene to corresponding dialdehydes was investigated in compressed CO2 and in toluene using different fluorinated phosphine compounds as ligands. A rhodium complex using tris(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)phosphine is highly effective in compressed CO2 for double hydroformylation of 1,5-hexadiene, whose TOF value is much larger than those reported so far. It has been shown that this ligand is effective also for the hydroformylation of 1,7-octadiene and scCO2 is a better solvent than a conventional organic solvent of toluene for the title reaction.  相似文献

High molecular weight sulfonated poly(arylene thioether phosphine oxide)s (sPATPO) with various sulfonation degrees were prepared directly by aromatic nucleophilic polycondensation of 4,4′-thiobisbenzenethiol with sulfonated bis(4-fluorophenyl) phenyl phosphine oxide and bis(4-fluorophenyl) phenyl phosphine oxide. sPATPO in the acid form with sulfonation degrees of 60–100% exhibits a glass transition temperature higher than 230 °C and a 5% weight loss temperature above 400 °C, indicating high thermal stability. sPATPO with a high sulfonation degree shows high proton conductivity and good resistance to swelling as well. For instance, sPATPO-70 displays the conductivity of 0.0783 S/cm and a swelling ratio of 11.6% at 90 °C. TEM micrographs showed that sPATPO membranes with a high sulfonation degree could form continuous ion channels, which are favorable for improving the proton conductivity but harmful to remaining the mechanical property. The membranes are expected to show good performances in fuel cell applications.  相似文献

Condensation of maleic anhydride or dimethyl maleate with benzylaldehydes controlled by tris(4‐anisyl)‐phosphine to synthesize dimethyl (E)‐2‐benzylidenesuccinates has been systematically investigated. The protocol gives the product with high stereoselectivity in moderate to good yields under mild conditions. A plausible mechanism has been proposed.  相似文献

In keeping with the calculations of thermodynamic characteristics of possible transformations of tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphine in the framework of DFT-approach using hybrid exchange-correlation functional B3LYP with the basis 6–311++G** the probability of transformation of tris(hydroxymethyl)phosphine at the temperature below 350 K into methylbis(hydroxymethyl)phosphine oxide is higher than the conversion into methyl(hydroxymethyl)phosphine oxide, and at the temperature over 350 K the trend is opposite. The probability of the formation of a heterocyclic dimer at the temperature over 300 K is somewhat lower and of bis(hydroxymethyl)phosphine in the temperature range 250–550 K is significantly lower.  相似文献

A series of sulfonated poly(phthalazinone ether phosphine oxide)s (sPPEPO) were prepared via aromatic nucleophilic substitution polycondensation of 4‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl) phthalazinone (HPPZ) with sulfonated bis(4‐fluorophenyl)phenyl phosphine oxide (sBFPPO) and bis(4‐fluorophenyl)phenyl phosphine oxide (BFPPO) at various ratios. The properties such as molecular weight, ion exchange capacity (IEC), swelling, thermal stability, proton conductivity, and morphology were investigated. sPPEPO with high IEC exhibited high proton conductivity while they still showed low swelling. Typically, sPPEPO with IEC of 1.54 and 1.69 meq/g exhibited high conductivity of 0.091 and 0.19 S/cm, and low swelling ratios of 14.3% and 19.5% at 80 °C, respectively. The low swelling was attributed to the strong intermolecular interaction including the electrostatic force and hydrogen bond. sPPEPO would be promising candidates used as polyelectrolyte membranes for fuel cells. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
