The concept of introducing n-conjugated but anti-aromatic repeating units into conjugated polymers has been explored. The thermal stability, optical and electrochemical properties of dithieno[a,e]pentalenes (DTP) based polymers have been studied. The effect of introducing electron withdrawing repeating units into DTP based poly- mer on the physical properties of polymer has also been investigated. Crosslinked poly(methyl methacrylate) and polystyrene with barium dimethacrylate [Ba(MA)_2] as crosslinking agent have been synthesized. The relationship between X-ray absorbability and the content of Ba(MA)_2 in polymers was investigated. TGA and DSC results indicated that the crosslinked polymers containing barium dimethacrylate have a much better heat stability than pure PMMA or PS. The mechanical properties of the polymers containing barium are improved in comparison with the pure PMMA.  相似文献

Thieno[3,2-b]thiophene(TT)monomers end-capped with 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT)moieties are electropolymerized to formπ-conjugated polymers with distinct electrochromic(EC)properties.Steric and electronic factors(electron donor and acceptor substituents)in the side groups of the TT core,as well as the structure of the polymer backbone strongly affect the electrochemical and optical properties of the polymers and their electrochromic characteristics.The studied polymers show low oxidation potentials,tunable from-0.78 to+0.30 V(vs.Fc/Fc~+)and the band gaps from 1.46 to 1.92 eV and demonstrate wide variety of color palettes in polymer films in different states,finely tunable by structural variations in the polymer backbone and the side chains.EC materials of different colors in their doped/dedoped states have been developed(violet,deep blue,light blue,green,brown,purple-red,pinkish-red,orange-red,light gray,cyan and colorless transparent).High optical contrast(up to 79%),short response time(0.57-0.80 s),good cycling stability(up to 91%at 2000 cycles)and high coloration efficiency(up to 234.6 cm2C~(-1))have been demonstrated and the influence of different factors on the above parameters of EC polymers have been discussed.  相似文献

Thermally stable polymers containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole units have been synthesized through Huisgen reaction of the aromatic/aliphatic bis-tetrazole compounds with the aromatic/aliphatic bis-acid chlorides in pyridine as solvent.The obtained polymers are insoluble or slightly soluble even in polar aprotic solvents such as DMSO and DMF.Relatively high inherent viscosity values(0.61-1.33 dL/g,in 0.125%H2SO4 at 25℃) were observed for these compounds.Thermal analyses of the polymers using DSC and TGA techniques showed that the polymers have improved thermal stabilities.The glass transition temperature has not been observed in the fully aromatic polymers,but the polymers obtained from 5-[6-(1H-tetrazol -5-yl)hexyl]-lH-tetrazole(Ⅳ) showed very clear Tg.A model reaction was also investigated and the resulting bis-1,3,4-oxadiazole compound was characterized by conventional spectroscopy methods.  相似文献

The subject of the transition in linear polymer melt has been of particular interest since thediscovery of liquid crystal polymers.The transitions in several polymer melts have been recog-nized in recent years.These polymers are mainly rigid chain in nature and the transitions wereassigned as mesomorphic.Recently we have found a transition in the melt of tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer (FEP copolymer). The authors~([1]) have found that the morphology of FEP copolymer is critically dependent onthe temperature of melt near 310?20?.When the melt was held at the temperature above itsmelting temperature and below 310?,the randomly arranged lamellas morphology was obtained.When the melt was held at the temperature above 320?,the spherulitic morphology was formed.When the copolymer crystallized from the intermediate temperature range,the rodlike morphologywas usually obtained.The variation of morphology with temperature can be easily detected by Small Angle Light Scattering technique.Also the crystallization curves,measured with the Per-  相似文献

The kinetics of oxidation of thiocarbohydrazide in the free and zinc(Ⅱ)-bound states byacid bromate have been studied in aqueous and water-acetic acid(1:1,V/V)media under varyingconditions,both in the absence and presence of added bromide ion.The rates of oxidations show firstorder kinetics in[bromate]in all the cases,but exhibit different kinetic behaviour in[substrate]and[H~+].Oxidation of TCH in aqueous medium shows zero order in[TCH]and nearly second order in[H~+],while oxidation in aqueous acetic acid shows two ranges in[H~+].The rate shows first and fractionalorder kinetics in[TCH]in the first and second acid ranges.Kinetics observed in the presence of Br~-are similar to those observed for oxidation of TCH in second acid range.In addition,the reactionshows fractional order in[Br~-].Oxidation of TCH in Zn(Ⅱ)-bound state exhibits first order kinetics in[substrate]and second order in[H~+].Increase in ionic strength of the medium decreases the rate in allthe cases.Increase in acetic acid composition of the solvent increases the rate.Mechanisms consistentwith the observed results have been considered and the rate laws deduced.The rate limiting steps havebeen identified and the coefficients of these steps have been calculated at different temperatures.Therelated activation parameters have also been computed.The validity of the deduced rate laws has alsobeen tested by recalculating the rate constants from them as[TCH]and[H~+]are varied.  相似文献
