CE suffers from an inherent low concentration sensitivity. Analyte detection limits can be improved by combining CE with SPE. This paper presents an overview of coupled SPE-CE systems that have been reported in literature. Attention is paid to fundamental aspects of coupling SPE and CE, as well as to important SPE requirements. Interfaces for inline and online coupling with CE are critically discussed, and their mode of operation is outlined. Advantages and limitations of the interfaces are discussed and typical examples are selected. Finally, some future developments are discussed.  相似文献

Recently, there has been significant interest in developing dry adhesives mimicking the gecko adhesive system, which offers several advantages compared to conventional pressure-sensitive adhesives. Specifically, gecko adhesive pads have anisotropic adhesion properties; the adhesive pads (spatulae) stick strongly when sheared in one direction but are non-adherent when sheared in the opposite direction. This anisotropy property is attributed to the complex topography of the array of fine tilted and curved columnar structures (setae) that bear the spatulae. In this study, we present an easy, scalable method, relying on conventional and unconventional techniques, to incorporate tilt in the fabrication of synthetic polymer-based dry adhesives mimicking the gecko adhesive system, which provides anisotropic adhesion properties. We measured the anisotropic adhesion and friction properties of samples with various tilt angles to test the validity of a nanoscale tape-peeling model of spatular function. Consistent with the peel zone model, samples with lower tilt angles yielded larger adhesion forces. The tribological properties of the synthetic arrays were highly anisotropic, reminiscent of the frictional adhesion behavior of gecko setal arrays. When a 60° tilt sample was actuated in the gripping direction, a static adhesion strength of ~1.4 N/cm(2) and a static friction strength of ~5.4 N/cm(2) were obtained. In contrast, when the dry adhesive was actuated in the releasing direction, we measured an initial repulsive normal force and negligible friction.  相似文献

Self-healing polymers represent a class of materials with built-in capability of rehabilitating damages. The topic has attracted increasingly more attention in the past few years. The on-going research activities clearly indicate that self-healing polymeric materials turn out to be a typical multi-disciplinary area concerning polymer chemistry, organic synthesis, polymer physics, theoretical and experimental mechanics, processing, composites manufacturing, interfacial engineering, etc. The present article briefly reviews the achievements of the groups worldwide, and particularly the work carried out in our own laboratory towards strength recovery for structural applications. To ensure sufficient coverage, thermoplastics and thermosetting polymers, extrinsic and intrinsic self-healing, autonomic and non-autonomic healing approaches are included. Innovative routes that correlate materials chemistry to full capacity restoration are discussed for further development from bioinspired toward biomimetic repair.  相似文献

Ferrocene-peptide-oligoaniline conjugates were designed by the introduction of two ferrocene-peptide conjugates into a π-conjugated phenylenediamine spacer to demonstrate the luminescent switching by changing the redox states of the π-conjugated phenylenediamine moiety, wherein the self-aggregation of the π-conjugated moiety was achieved in a higher concentration to induce the chirality organization with a red shift of the maximum emission wavelength.  相似文献

Based on the structures of natural sphingolipids, we designed heterocyclic sphingoid base mimetics in which the conformational restriction is introduced by incorporation of a pyrrolidine moiety between the 2-amino group and the C-4 carbon atom of the sphingoid base. Our synthesis features a regioselective nucleophilic ring opening of a cyclic sulfate with cyanide and subsequent manipulation of the cyanide group. During the course of synthesis, Staudinger-type reductive cyclization of 1,3-azido carboxylic acid and 1,4-azido alcohol offers a direct route to the five-membered pyrrolidone and pyrrolidine products. The preliminary biological evaluation indicates that the designed pyrrolidine analog is biologically active and its cytotoxic effect is associated with the induction of apoptosis.  相似文献
