A series of Zn (II), Pd (II) and Cd (II) complexes, [(L) n MX 2 ] m (L = L‐a–L‐c; M = Zn, Pd; X = Cl; M = Cd; X = Br; n, m = 1 or 2), containing 4‐methoxy‐N‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethylene) aniline ( L‐a ), 4‐methoxy‐N‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl) aniline ( L‐b ) and 4‐methoxy‐N‐methyl‐N‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl) aniline ( L‐c ) have been synthesized and characterized. The X‐ray crystal structures of Pd (II) complexes [L 1 PdCl 2 ] (L = L‐b and L‐c) revealed distorted square planar geometries obtained via coordinative interaction of the nitrogen atoms of pyridine and amine moieties and two chloro ligands. The geometry around Zn (II) center in [(L‐a)ZnCl 2 ] and [(L‐c)ZnCl 2 ] can be best described as distorted tetrahedral, whereas [(L‐b) 2 ZnCl 2 ] and [(L‐b) 2 CdBr 2 ] achieved 6‐coordinated octahedral geometries around Zn and Cd centers through 2‐equivalent ligands, respectively. In addition, a dimeric [(L‐c)Cd(μ ‐ Br)Br] 2 complex exhibited typical 5‐coordinated trigonal bipyramidal geometry around Cd center. The polymerization of methyl methacrylate in the presence of modified methylaluminoxane was evaluated by all the synthesized complexes at 60°C. Among these complexes, [(L‐b)PdCl 2 ] showed the highest catalytic activity [3.80 × 104 g poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/mol Pd hr?1], yielding high molecular weight (9.12 × 105 g mol?1) PMMA. Syndio‐enriched PMMA (characterized using 1H‐NMR spectroscopy) of about 0.68 was obtained with Tg in the range 120–128°C. Unlike imine and amine moieties, the introduction of N‐methyl moiety has an adverse effect on the catalytic activity, but the syndiotacticity remained unaffected.  相似文献

Reactions of pyrimidine‐2‐thione (HpymS) with PdII/PtIV salts in the presence of triphenyl phosphine and bis(diphenylphosphino)alkanes, Ph2P‐(CH2)m‐PPh2 (m = 1, 2) have yielded two types of complexes, viz. a) [M(η2‐N, S‐ pymS)(η1‐S‐ pymS)(PPh3)] (M = Pd, 1 ; Pt, 2 ), and (b) [M(η1‐S‐pymS)2(L‐L)] {L‐L, M = dppm (m = 1) Pd, 3 ; Pt, 4 ; dppe (m = 2), Pd, 5 ; Pt, 6 }. Complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, N), NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 31P), and single crystal X‐ray crystallography ( 1 , 2 , 4 , and 5 ). Complexes 1 and 2 have terminal η1‐S and chelating η2‐N, S‐modes of pymS, while other Pd/Pt complexes have only terminal η1‐S modes. The solution state 31P NMR spectral data reveal dynamic equilibrium for the complexes 3 , 5 and 6 , whereas the complexes 1 , 2 and 4 are static in solution state.  相似文献

Reaction of group 12 metal dihalides in ethanolic media with 2‐acetylpyridine 4N‐phenylthiosemicarbazone ( H4PL ) and 2‐acetylpyridine‐N‐oxide 4N‐phenylthiosemicarbazone ( H4PLO ) afforded the compounds [M(H4PL)X2] (X = Cl, Br, M = Zn, Cd, Hg; X = I, M = Zn, Cd) ( 1–8 ), [Hg(4PL)I]2 ( 9 ) and [M(H4PLO)X2] (X = Cl, Br, I, M = Zn, Cd, Hg) ( 10–18 ). H4PL , H4PLO and their complexes were characterized by elemental analysis and by IR and 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy (and the cadmium complexes by 113Cd NMR spectroscopy), and H4PL , H4PLO , ( 5 · DMSO) and ( 9 ) were additionally studied by X‐ray diffraction. H4PL is N,N,S‐tridentate in all its complexes, including 9 , in which it is deprotonated, and H4PLO is in all cases O,N,S‐tridentate. In all the complexes, the metal atoms are pentacoordinate and the coordination polyhedra are redistorted tetragonal pyramids. In assays of antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger and Paecilomyces variotii, the only compound to show any activity was [Hg(H4PLO)I2] ( 18 ).  相似文献

In this work, we have successfully synthesized a new family of chiral Schiff base–phosphine ligands derived from chiral binaphthol (BINOL) and chiral primary amine. The controllable synthesis of a novel hexadentate and tetradentate N,O,P ligand that contains both axial and sp3‐central chirality from axial BINOL and sp3‐central primary amine led to the establishment of an efficient multifunctional N,O,P ligand for copper‐catalyzed conjugate addition of an organozinc reagent. In the asymmetric conjugate reaction of organozinc reagents to enones, the polymer‐like bimetallic multinuclear Cu? Zn complex constructed in situ was found to be substrate‐selective and a highly excellent catalyst for diethylzinc reagents in terms of enantioselectivity (up to >99 % ee). More importantly, the chirality matching between different chiral sources, C2‐axial binaphthol and sp3‐central chiral phosphine, was crucial to the enantioselective induction in this reaction. The experimental results indicated that our chiral ligand (R,S,S)‐ L1 ‐ and (R,S)‐ L4 ‐based bimetallic complex catalyst system exhibited the highest catalytic performance to date in terms of enantioselectivity and conversion even in the presence of 0.005 mol % of catalyst (S/C=20 000, turnover number (TON)=17 600). We also studied the tandem silylation or acylation of enantiomerically enriched zinc enolates that formed in situ from copper‐ L4 ‐complex‐catalyzed conjugate addition, which resulted in the high‐yield synthesis of chiral silyl enol ethers and enoacetates, respectively. Furthermore, the specialized structure of the present multifunctional N,O,P ligand L1 or L4 , and the corresponding mechanistic study of the copper catalyst system were investigated by 31P NMR spectroscopy, circular dichroism (CD), and UV/Vis absorption.  相似文献

The Schiff base 1‐benzyl‐N ‐(3,5‐di‐tert ‐butylsalicylidene)piperidin‐4‐amine (HL) and its acetatopalladium(II) complex having the formula [Pd(L)(OAc)] were synthesized. Both HL and [Pd(L)(OAc)] were characterized using elemental analysis and various spectroscopic (infrared, UV–visible, 1H NMR and 13C NMR) and mass spectrometric measurements. The molecular structure of the complex was determined using X‐ray crystallographic analysis. In the complex, the pincer‐like NNO‐donor L and the monodenate OAc provide a distorted square‐planar N2O2 coordination environment around the metal centre. The physicochemical properties and the spectroscopic features of [Pd(L)(OAc)] are consistent with its molecular structure. The complex was found to be an effective catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reactions of hydroxyaryl halides with arylboronic acids in predominantly aqueous media. The reactions afforded hydroxybiaryl products in good to excellent yields with a wide substrate scope.  相似文献

Reaction of 1, 9‐dihydro‐purine‐6‐thione (puSH2) in presence of aqueous sodium hydroxide with PdCl2(PPh3)2 suspended in ethanol formed [Pd(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(PPh3)2] ( 1 ). Similarly, complexes [Pd(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(κ2‐P, P‐L‐L)] ( 2 – 4 ) {L‐L = dppm (m = 1) ( 2 ), dppp (m = 3) ( 3 ), dppb (m = 4) ( 4 )} were prepared using precursors the [PdCl2(L‐L)] {L‐L = Ph2P–(CH2)m–PPh2}. Reaction of puSH2 suspended in benzene with platinic acid, H2PtCl6, in ethanol in the presence of triethylamine followed by the addition of PPh3 yielded the complex [Pt(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(PPh3)2] ( 5 ). Complexes [Pt(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(κ2‐P, P‐L‐L)] ( 6 – 8 ) {L‐L = dppm ( 6 ), dppp ( 7 ), dppb ( 8 )} were prepared similarly. The 1, 9‐dihydro‐purine‐6‐thione acts as N7,S‐chelating dianion in compounds 1 – 8 . The reaction of copper(I) chloride [or copper(I) bromide] in acetonitrile with puSH2 and the addition of PPh3 in methanol yielded the same product, [Cu(κ2‐N7,S‐puSH)(PPh3)2] ( 9 ), in which the halogen atoms are removed by uninegative N, S‐chelating puSH anion. However, copper(I) iodide did not lose iodide and formed the tetrahedral complex, [CuI(κ1‐S‐puSH2)(PPh3)2] ( 10 ), in which the thio ligand is neutral. These complexes were characterized with the help of elemental analysis, NMR spectroscopy (1H, 31P), and single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography ( 3 , 7 , 8 , 9 , and 10 ).  相似文献

The ligand containing the 4‐amino‐1‐benzyl piperidine group, N, N′‐(4‐amino‐1‐benzyl piperidine)‐glyoxime, (LH2) (1) was prepared from 4‐amino‐1‐benzyl piperidine with anti‐dichloroglyoxime at ? 15 °C in absolute Tetrahydrofuran (THF). In the trinuclear [Pd(L)2Ru2(phen)4](ClO4)2 (4) and [Pd(L)2Ru2(bpy)4](ClO4)2 (5) metal complexes, the PdII ion centered into the main oxime core by the coordination of the imino groups while the two RuII ions coordinated dianionic oxygen donors of the oxime groups and linked to the ligands of 1,10‐phenanthroline and 2,2′‐bipyridine. The mono and trinuclear metal complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, FT‐IR, UV–vis, 1H and 13C‐NMR spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements, molar conductivity, cyclic voltammetry, mass spectra, X‐ray powder techniques and their morphology by SEM measurements. The cyclic voltammetric results show that the cathodic peak (Epc) potential of (3) shifts towards more positive values compared with that of (2) as a result of the BPh2+‐bridged complex formation. The Suzuki–Miyaura reaction was used to investigate their activity as catalyst either prepared in‐situ or from well‐defined complexes. Copyright © 2008 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this work, we present a powerful set of synthetic strategies aimed at minimization of auxiliary reagent loading for direct arylation polymerization (DArP) of 2‐bromo‐3‐hexylthiophene. As such, we report efficient lowering of Pd(OAc)2 catalyst loading as well as loading of other auxiliary reagents, such as neodecanoic acid and N,N‐dimethylacetamide. Unprecedented low loadings of catalyst down to 0.0313% (313 ppm) were achieved, while producing polymer in high yield (91% after Soxhlet extraction), with a high molecular weight (24.2 kDa) and carefully controlled chemical structure thus making the optimized DArP protocol significantly more cost‐effective, convenient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. The resulting polymer samples were thoroughly investigated in terms of their chemical structure as well as optical, thermal, chain ordering and electronic properties using GPC analysis, 1H NMR, MALDI, UV–vis, GIXRD spectroscopy, DSC, and SCLC hole mobility measurements. The results demonstrate that the reagent lowering strategies increase the polymer regioregularity from 94.6 to 96.5% as evidenced by 1H NMR spectra and corroborated by GIXRD, DSC, and UV–vis measurements. Additionally, polymer samples obtained at low reagent loading are more uniformly proton‐terminated as evidenced by 1H NMR and MALDI end‐group analysis. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Novel triarylamine‐based coordination‐saturated aryl Pd(II) halide complexes ligated by PEt3, PCy3, and P(o‐tol)3 were successfully synthesized by direct oxidative addition of aryl halide to the corresponding Pd(0) precursors. Suzuki–Miyaura coupling polymerization of 2‐(7‐halide‐9,9‐dioctylfluoren‐2‐yl)?1,3,2‐dioxaborinane with these Pd(II) complexes as initiators was investigated for the synthesis of poly(fluorene)s with triarylamine end group. Pd(II) complexes with PCy3 or P(o‐tol)3 exhibited catalytic activity and realized the catalyst‐transfer polycondensation at 75 °C and room temperature, respectively, while the polymerization using Pd(II) catalyst ligated by PEt3 did not proceed, which indicated that the bulky phosphine ligands could facilitate the reductive elimination and further promote the polymerization. In addition, the dimeric Pd(II) complex with P(o‐tol)3 can convert into monomeric Pd(II) intermediate with an open coordination site, which had a higher activity. The end groups of the afforded polyfluorene were analyzed by matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionization time‐of‐flight (MALDI‐TOF) mass spectrometry, in which the Ar/H end groups are indicative of the catalyst‐transfer polymerization. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Herein, we report the synthesis and characterization of two organozinc complexes that contain symmetrical phenalenyl (PLY)‐based N,N‐ligands. The reactions of phenalenyl‐based ligands with ZnMe2 led to the formation of organozinc complexes [N(Me),N(Me)‐PLY]ZnMe ( 1 ) and [N(iPr),N(iPr)‐PLY]ZnMe ( 2 ) under the evolution of methane. Both complexes ( 1 and 2 ) were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The solid‐state structures of complexes 1 and 2 were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography. Complexes 1 and 2 were used as catalysts for the intramolecular hydroamination of unactivated primary and secondary aminoalkenes. A combined approach of NMR spectroscopy and DFT calculations was utilized to obtain better insight into the mechanistic features of the zinc‐catalyzed hydroamination reactions. The progress of the catalysis for primary and secondary aminoalkene substrates with catalyst 2 was investigated by detailed kinetic studies, including kinetic isotope effect measurements. These results suggested pseudo‐first‐order kinetics for both primary and secondary aminoalkene activation processes. Eyring and Arrhenius analyses for the cyclization of a model secondary aminoalkene substrate afforded ΔH=11.3 kcal mol?1, ΔS=?35.75 cal K?1 mol?1, and Ea=11.68 kcal mol?1. Complex 2 exhibited much‐higher catalytic activity than complex 1 under identical reaction conditions. The in situ NMR experiments supported the formation of a catalytically active zinc cation and the DFT calculations showed that more active catalyst 2 generated a more stable cation. The stability of the catalytically active zinc cation was further supported by an in situ recycling procedure, thereby confirming the retention of catalytic activity of compound 2 for successive catalytic cycles. The DFT calculations showed that the preferred pathway for the zinc‐catalyzed hydroamination reactions is alkene activation rather than the alternative amine‐activation pathway. A detailed investigation with DFT methods emphasized that the remarkably higher catalytic efficiency of catalyst 2 originated from its superior stability and the facile formation of its cation compared to that derived from catalyst 1 .  相似文献

Solutions of butylzinc iodide in tetrahydrofuran, acetonitrile, and N,N‐dimethylformamide were analyzed by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. In all cases, microsolvated butylzinc cations [ZnBu(solvent)n]+, n=1–3, were detected. The parallel observation of the butylzincate anion [ZnBuI2]? suggests that these ions result from disproportionation of neutral butylzinc iodide in solution. In the presence of simple bidentate ligands (1,2‐dimethoxyethane, N,N‐dimethyl‐2‐methoxyethylamine, and N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine), chelate complexes of the type [ZnBu(ligand)]+ form quite readily. The relative stabilities of these complexes were probed by competition experiments and analysis of their unimolecular gas‐phase reactivity. Fragmentation of mass‐selected [ZnBu(ligand)]+ leads to the elimination of butene and formation of [ZnH(ligand)]+. In marked contrast, the microsolvated cations [ZnBu(solvent)n]+ lose the attached solvent molecules upon gas‐phase fragmentation to produce bare [ZnBu]+, which subsequently dissociates into [C4H9]+ and Zn. This difference in reactivity resembles the situation in organozinc solution chemistry, in which chelating ligands are needed to activate dialkylzinc compounds for the nucleophilic addition to aldehydes.  相似文献

A group of rhenium (I) complexes including in their structure ligands such as CF3SO3‐, CH3CO2‐, CO, 2,2′‐bipyridine, dipyridil[3,2‐a:2′3′‐c]phenazine, naphthalene‐2‐carboxylate, anthracene‐9‐carboxylate, pyrene‐1‐carboxylate and 1,10‐phenanthroline have been studied for the first time by mass spectrometry. The probe electrospray ionization (PESI) is a technique based on electrospray ionization (ESI) that generates electrospray from the tip of a solid metal needle. In this work, mass spectra for organometallic complexes obtained by PESI were compared with those obtained by classical ESI and high flow rate electrospray ionization assisted by corona discharge (HF‐ESI‐CD), an ideal method to avoid decomposition of the complexes and to induce their oxidation to yield intact molecular cation radicals in gas state [M]+. and to produce their reduction yielding the gas species [M]–.. It was found that both techniques showed in general the intact molecular ions of the organometallics studied and provided additional structure characteristic diagnostic fragments. As the rhenium complexes studied in the present work showed strong absorption in the UV–visible region, particularly at 355 nm, laser desorption ionization (LDI) mass spectrometry experiments could be conducted. Although intact molecular ions could be detected in a few cases, LDI mass spectra showed diagnostic fragments for characterization of the complexes structure. Furthermore, matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) mass spectra were obtained. Nor‐harmane, a compound with basic character, was used as matrix, and the intact molecular ions were detected in two examples, in negative ion mode as the [M]–. species. Results obtained with 2‐[(2E)‐3‐(4‐tert‐buthylphenyl)‐2‐methylprop‐2‐enylidene] malononitrile (DCTB) as matrix are also described. LDI experiments provided more information about the rhenium complex structures than did the MALDI ones. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A novel hydrazone, formed by the condensation of the hydrochloride salt of hydralazine with 3‐chlorobenzaldehyde, and its Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes have been synthesized. Their structures have been elucidated on the basis of elemental analyses, conductance measurements, magnetic moments, and spectral (infrared, 1H NMR, UV–visible, electrospray ionization (ESI) mass) and thermal studies. The bidentate behaviour of the ligand is proposed on the basis of spectral studies. Interestingly, all four complexes exhibit different geometry around the metal centre. The conductance data of the complexes suggest them to be non‐electrolytes. The ESI mass spectra of the complexes support their monomeric nature. The compounds were tested against two Gram‐positive and three Gram‐negative bacterial strains and three fungal strains. Excellent inhibitory activity is observed against the Gram‐positive bacteria Streptococcus mutans and Enterococcus faecalis which play major roles in tooth decay. Among the fungal strains used, Candida albicans is inhibited predominantly. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Tetrakis(diethyl phosphonate), Tetrakis(ethyl phenylphosphinate)‐, and Tetrakis(diphenylphosphine oxide)‐Substituted Phthalocyanines The title compounds 7, 9 , and 11 are obtained by tetramerization of diethyl (3,4‐dicyanophenyl)phosphonate ( 5 ), ethyl (3,4‐dicyanophenyl)phenylphosphinate ( 8 ), and 4‐(diphenylphosphinyl)benzene‐1,2‐dicarbonitrile ( 10 ). The 31P‐NMR spectra of the phthalocyanines 7, 9 , and 11 and of their metal complexes present five to eight signals confirming the formation of four constitutional isomers with the expected C4h, D2h, C2v, and Cs symmetry. In the FAB‐MS of the Zn, Cu, and Ni complexes of 7 and 9 , the peaks of dimeric phthalocyanines are observed. By gel‐permeation chromatography, the monomeric complex [Ni( 7 )] and a dimer [Ni( 7 )]2 can be separated. These dimers differ from the known phthalocyanine dimers, i.e., possibly the P(O)(OEt)2 and P(O)(Ph)(OEt) substituents in 7 and 9 are involved in complexation. The free phosphonic acid complex [Zn( 12 )] and [Cu( 12 )] are H2O‐soluble. In the FAB‐MS of [Zn( 12 )], only the peaks of the dimer are present; the ESI‐MS confirms the existence of the dimer and the metal‐free dimer. In the UV/VIS spectrum of [Zn( 12 )], the hypsochromic shift characteristic for the known type of dimers from 660–700 nm to 620–640 nm is observed. As in the FAB‐MS of [Zn( 12 )], the free phosphinic acid complex [Zn( 13 )] shows only the monomer, an ESI‐MS cannot be obtained for solubility problems. The UV/VIS spectrum of [Zn( 13 )] demonstrates the existence of the monomer as well as of the dimer.  相似文献

As alternatives to the common tertiary phosphine/Pd systems, well‐defined N‐heterocyclic carbene–Pd complexes have been proven to be highly efficient precatalysts for intermolecular direct annalution of o‐haloanilines and ketones at lower catalyst loadings. A highly efficient and practical protocol for synthesis of functionalized indoles was developed using (IPr)Pd(acac)Cl as catalyst. Both o‐bromoanilines and o‐chloroanilines gave rise to efficient coupling under the reaction conditions. Related to acyclic ones, cyclic ketones coupled more effectively with o‐haloanilines. With [Pd(IPr)2] as catalyst, the base‐sensitive groups including OH and CO2H groups could be tolerated. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A novel diazadiphosphetidine ligand derived from the reaction of 2,4‐dichloro‐1,3‐dimethyl‐1,3,2,4‐diazadiphosphetidine‐2,4‐dioxide and 2,2′‐(ethane‐1,2‐diylbis[oxy])bis(ethan‐1‐amine) and its Ni(II), Cu(II), and Co(II) complexes have been synthesized, characterized by spectroscopic, elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility, and conductivity methods, and screened for antimicrobial, DNA binding, and cleavage properties. Spectroscopic analysis and elemental analyses indicate the formula [M(H2L)Cl2] for the Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) complexes and octahedral geometry for all the complexes. The non‐electrolytic nature of the complexes in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was confirmed by their molar conductance values, which are in the range 12.32–6.73 Ω?1 cm2 mol?1. Computational studies have been carried out at the density functional theory (DFT)‐B3LYP/6‐31G(d) level of theory on the structural and spectroscopic properties of diazadiphosphetidine H2L and its binuclear Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) complexes. Six tautomers and geometrical isomers of the diazadiphosphetidine ligand were confirmed using semiempirical AM1 and DFT method from DMOL3 calculations. The copper complex had the best antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213). DNA cleavage activities of the compounds, evaluated on pBR322 DNA by agarose gel electrophoresis in the presence and absence of an oxidant (H2O2) and a free‐radical scavenger (DMSO), indicated no activity for the ligand and moderate activity for the complexes, with the copper complex cleaving pBR322 DNA more efficiently in the presence of H2O2.  相似文献

The mononuclear complex Pd(1‐TosC‐N3)2Cl2 (2) containing 1‐(p‐toluenesulfonyl)cytosine (1) as a ligand, as well as dinuclear complexes Pd2(1‐TosC?N3,N4)4 (3) and Pd2(1‐TosC?N3,N4)2DMSO2Cl2 (4) containing the ligand anion (1‐TosC?), was mass analyzed by electrospray ionization ion trap MS/MS and high resolution MS. Complexes 3 and 4 were obtained by recrystallization of 2 from DMF and DMSO, respectively. The behavior of complex 2 in different solutions was monitored by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI‐MS). Under the applied ESI‐MS conditions, complex 2 in methanol reorganized itself dominantly as new complex 3 and the solvent did not coordinate the formed species. In H2O/DMSO, CH3CN/DMSO and CH3OH/DMSO solutions, complex 2 formed several new species with solvent molecules involved in their structure, e.g. complex 4 was formed as the major product. The newly formed species were also examined by LC‐MS‐DAD, confirming the solvent induced reorganization and the solution instability of complex 2. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The coordination properties of N,N′‐bis[4‐(4‐pyridyl)phenyl]acenaphthenequinonediimine (L1) and N,N′‐bis[4‐(2‐pyridyl)phenyl]acenaphthenequinonediimine (L2) were investigated in self‐assembly with palladium diphosphane complexes [Pd(P^P)(H2O)2](OTf)2 (OTf=triflate) by using various analytical techniques, including multinuclear (1H, 15N, and 31P) NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry (P^P=dppp, dppf, dppe; dppp=bis(diphenylphosphanyl)propane, dppf= bis(diphenylphosphanyl)ferrocene, and dppe=bis(diphenylphosphanyl)ethane). Beside the expected trimeric and tetrameric species, the interaction of an equimolar mixture of [Pd(dppp)]2+ ions and L1 also generates pentameric aggregates. Due to the E/Z isomerism of L1, a dimeric product was also observed. In all of these species, which correspond to the general formula [Pd(dppp)L1]n(OTf)2n (n=2–5), the L1 ligand is coordinated to the Pd center only through the terminal pyridyl groups. Introduction of a second equivalent of the [Pd(dppp)]2+ tecton results in coordination to the internal, sterically more encumbered chelating site and induces enhancement of the higher nuclearity components. The presence of higher‐order aggregates (n=5, 6), which were unexpected for the interaction of cis‐protected palladium corners with linear ditopic bridging ligands, has been demonstrated both by mass‐spectrometric and DOSY NMR spectroscopic analysis. The sequential coordination of the [Pd(dppp)]2+ ion is attributed to the dissimilar steric properties of the two coordination sites. In the self‐assembled species formed in a 1:1:1 mixture of [Pd(dppp)]2+/[Pd(dppe)]2+/L1, the sterically more demanding [Pd(dppp)]2+ tectons are attached selectively to the pyridyl groups, whereas the more hindered imino nitrogen atoms coordinate the less bulky dppe complexes, thus resulting in a sterically directed, size‐selective sorting of the metal tectons. The propensity of the new ligands to incorporate hydrogen‐bonded solvent molecules at the chelating site was confirmed by X‐ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

A Cu‐based methanol synthesis catalyst was obtained from a phase pure Cu,Zn,Al hydrotalcite‐like precursor, which was prepared by co‐precipitation. This sample was intrinsically more active than a conventionally prepared Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst. Upon thermal decomposition in air, the [(Cu0.5Zn0.17Al0.33)(OH)2(CO3)0.17] ? mH2O precursor is transferred into a carbonate‐modified, amorphous mixed oxide. The calcined catalyst can be described as well‐dispersed “CuO” within ZnAl2O4 still containing stabilizing carbonate with a strong interaction of Cu2+ ions with the Zn–Al matrix. The reduction of this material was carefully analyzed by complementary temperature‐programmed reduction (TPR) and near‐edge X‐ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) measurements. The results fully describe the reduction mechanism with a kinetic model that can be used to predict the oxidation state of Cu at given reduction conditions. The reaction proceeds in two steps through a kinetically stabilized CuI intermediate. With reduction, a nanostructured catalyst evolves with metallic Cu particles dispersed in a ZnAl2O4 spinel‐like matrix. Due to the strong interaction of Cu and the oxide matrix, the small Cu particles (7 nm) of this catalyst are partially embedded leading to lower absolute activity in comparison with a catalyst comprised of less‐embedded particles. Interestingly, the exposed Cu surface area exhibits a superior intrinsic activity, which is related to a positive effect of the interface contact of Cu and its surroundings.  相似文献

The zinc(II) pseudohalide complexes {[Zn(L334)(SCN)2(H2O)](H2O)2}n ( 1 ) and [Zn(L334)(dca)2]n ( 2 ) were synthesized and characterized using the ligand 3,4‐bis(3‐pyridyl)‐5‐(4‐pyridyl)‐1,2,4‐triazole (L334) and ZnCl2 in presence of thiocyanate (SCN) and dicynamide [dca, N(CN)2] respectively. Single‐crystal X‐ray structural analysis revealed that the central ZnII atoms in both complexes have similar octahedral arrangement. Compound 1 has a 2D sheet structure bridged by bidentate L334 and double μN,S‐thiocyanate anions, whereas complex 2 , incorporating with two monodentate dicynamide anions, displays a two‐dimensional coordination framework bridged by tetradentate L334 ligand. Structural analysis demonstrated that the influence of pseudohalide anions plays an important role in determining the resultant structure. Both complexes were characterized by IR spectroscopy, microanalysis, and powder X‐ray diffraction techniques. In addition, the solid fluorescence and thermal stability properties of both complexes were investigated.  相似文献
