This study focuses on the solubility behaviors of CO2, CH4, and N2 gases in binary mixtures of imidazolium-based room-temperature ionic liquids (RTILs) using 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([C2mim][Tf2N]) and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C2mim][BF4]) at 40 degrees C and low pressures (approximately 1 atm). The mixtures tested were 0, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95, and 100 mol % [C2mim][BF4] in [C2mim][Tf2N]. Results show that regular solution theory (RST) can be used to describe the gas solubility and selectivity behaviors in RTIL mixtures using an average mixture solubility parameter or an average measured mixture molar volume. Interestingly, the solubility selectivity, defined as the ratio of gas mole fractions in the RTIL mixture, of CO2 with N2 or CH4 in pure [C2mim][BF4] can be enhanced by adding 5 mol % [C2mim][Tf2N].  相似文献

系统研究了[C4mim][PF6], [C6mim][PF6], [C6mim][BF4]和[C8mim][BF4]室温离子液体对间氨基苯磺酸、对氨基苯磺酸稀水溶液的萃取平衡. 实验结果表明: 萃取温度和相体积比的变化对分配比影响不大; 水相pH值对萃取平衡有较大的影响, 氨基苯磺酸在离子液体/水体系中的分配比在pH=4.2时达到最大值; 水相中CaCl2或Na2SO4的存在能较大幅度地提高氨基苯磺酸的分配比; 离子液体的阴离子的性质对分配比有显著的影响, 阴离子为[BF4]的离子液体对氨基苯磺酸的萃取能力大于阴离子为[PF6]的离子液体; 咪唑环上烷基链的长度也对萃取效果有一定的影响. 在所研究的离子液体中, [C6mim][BF4]和[C8mim][BF4]对氨基苯磺酸有较好的萃取性能, 且萃取相中的氨基苯磺酸可回收利用, 离子液体也可循环使用.  相似文献

The electrochemical oxidation of dissolved hydrogen gas has been studied in a range of room-temperature ionic liquids (RTILs), namely [C(2)mim][NTf(2)], [C(4)mim][NTf(2)], [N(6,2,2,2)][NTf(2)], [P(14,6,6,6)][NTf(2)], [C(4)mpyrr][NTf(2)], [C(4)mim][BF(4)], [C(4)mim][PF(6)], [C(4)mim][OTf], and [C(6)mim]Cl on a platinum microdisk electrode of diameter 10 microm. In all cases, except [C(6)mim]Cl, a broad quasi-electrochemically reversible oxidation peak between 0.3 to 1.3 V vs Ag was seen prior to electrode activation ([C(6)mim]Cl showed an almost irreversible wave). When the electrode was pre-anodized ("activated") at 2.0 V vs Ag for 1 min, the peak separations became smaller, and the peak shape became more electrochemically reversible. It is thought that the electrogenerated protons chemically combine with the anions (A-) of the RTIL. The appearance and position of the reverse (reduction) peak on the voltammograms is thought to depend on three factors: (1) the stability of the protonated anion, HA, (2) the position of equilibrium of the protonation reaction HA<==> H+ + A- , and (3) any follow-up chemistry, e.g., dissociation or reaction of the protonated anion, HA. This is discussed for the five different anions studied. The reduction of HNTf(2) was also studied in two [NTf(2)]- -based RTILs and was compared to the oxidation waves from hydrogen. The results have implications for the defining of pKa in RTIL media, for the development of suitable reference electrodes for use in RTILs, and in the possible amperometric sensing of H2 gas.  相似文献

采用两步法合成了新型功能化离子液体1-甲氧基乙基-3-甲基咪唑甘氨酸([C_3O_1mim][Gly]),并研究了其对CO_2的吸收性能.利用核磁共振、红外光谱及热重分析等手段进行表征,验证了该离子液体的结构,且发现其具有较高的热稳定性.对比单乙醇胺(MEA),考察了[C_3O_1mim][Gly]在不同温度下对CO_2的捕集能力,结果表明,[C_3O_1mim][Gly]在40℃下的吸收容量可达1.26 mol CO_2/mol IL,远高于MEA,这表明[C_3O_1mim][Gly]对CO_2具有良好的吸收能力,吸收容量随着温度升高而降低.该离子液体同时具有良好的循环稳定性,进行5次吸收解吸操作后仍可保持较高的CO_2吸收量.对该离子液体吸收CO_2进行了动力学研究,结果表明,Pseudo-second-order模型能够较好地描述该吸收过程.  相似文献

利用非等温、等温热重分析(TG)法,研究了高纯氮气气氛下1-丁基-3-甲基咪唑四氟硼酸盐([bmim][BF4])离子液体的热稳定性、平衡蒸汽压和标准蒸发焓.非等温热重(TG)曲线表明[bmim][BF4]的初始分解温度(Tonset)和最大分解速率对应的温度(Tm)分别为697和734K.然而长期等温TGA研究表明,[bmim][BF4]的最高可使用温度约为513K.另外,利用基于TG的蒸发技术研究了[bmim][BF4]的平衡蒸汽压(pe)与温度的关系并计算了标准蒸发焓.在503-543K温度范围内,离子液体[bmim][BF4]的pe和温度的关系是:lgpe=(16±1)+(-6.85±0.25)×103/T.[bmim][BF4]的标准蒸发焓为(131±5)kJ·mol-1.  相似文献

根据经验和半经验方程及空隙模型理论,可以估算及预测离子液体在298.15K的物理化学性质.本文讨论了离子液体的分子体积,密度,标准熵,晶格能,表面张力,等张比容,摩尔蒸发焓,空隙体积,空隙率和热膨胀系数.通过实验测得的三种离子液体1-乙基-3-甲基咪唑硫酸乙酯([C2mim][EtSO4)]),1-丁基-3-甲基咪唑硫酸辛酯([C4mim][OcSO4])和1-乙基-3-甲基咪唑双三氟甲磺酰亚胺盐([C2mim][NTf2])的密度和表面张力估算了它们的其它物理化学性质.由这三种离子液体的分子体积及等张比容预测了同系列中其它离子液体[Cnmim][EtSO4],[Cnmim][OcSO4]和[Cnmim][NTf2](n=1-6)的分子体积及等张比容,由此计算出它们的密度及表面张力.进而预测了它们的物理化学性质.将预测的离子液体[C4mim][NTf2]和[C2mim][OcSO4]的密度值与文献报导的实验值进行比较,其偏差在实验误差范围内.最后,将由Kabo经验方程计算的七个离子液体[C2mim][EtSO4]、[C4mim][OcSO4]、[C2mim][NTf2]、[C4mim][NTf2]、丁基三甲基铵双三氟甲磺酰亚胺盐([N4111][NTf2])、甲基三辛基铵双三氟甲磺酰亚胺盐([N8881][NTf2])和1-辛基-3-甲基吡啶四氟硼酸盐([m3opy][BF4])的摩尔蒸发焓与由Verevkin简单规则预测的摩尔蒸发焓进行比较,发现两者符合很好.因此,在缺乏密度和表面张力实验数据的情况下,可以用Verevkin简单规则来预测离子液体的摩尔蒸发焓.  相似文献

The sorption isotherms of CO2 + CH4 mixtures on an activated carbon were collected in the presence of water at a temperature suitable for hydrate formation. The equilibrium composition of both phases was determined. The initial concentration of CO2 in mixtures was set at 33, 38 and 42%, and the total pressure was up to 10 MPa. CO2 hydrates were firstly formed following the increase of total pressure, and CO2 dominates the sorbed phase composition. CO2 concentration in the sorbed phase begins to decrease when the partial pressure of methane allows for the formation of methane hydrates. Competition for hydrate cavities was observed between CO2 and CH4 as reflected in the isotherm shape and phase composition at equilibrium. The formation pressure of hydrates is lower for mixtures than for pure gases, and the highest sorption capacity of each gas decreased in the mixture sorption either.  相似文献

We carried out the first study about the effect of a compressed gas on the properties of reverse micellar solutions with ionic liquid (IL) polar cores. And the properties of compressed CO2/cyclohexane/1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([bmim][BF4])/Triton X-100 (TX-100) system were investigated at 288.2, 293.2, 298.2, 308.2 K and different pressures by using phase behavior measurement, small-angle x-ray scattering, and UV-Vis techniques. The concentration of the surfactant in the solution was 0.3 mol/l (M). It was found that compressed CO2 could enhance solubilization of the IL in the reverse micelles considerably at suitable pressures, and formation of the reverse micelles could be controlled easily by pressure. Increase of CO2 pressure resulted in decrease of the micellar sizes at fixed [bmim][BF4]-to-surfactant molar ratios (w), and the size of the reverse micelles increased with the increase of w values. The polarity of the IL cores increased continuously with increasing w value.  相似文献

以1-正辛基-3-甲基咪唑六氟磷酸盐[C8mim][PF6]作为膜结构控制剂,采用相转化法制备具有不同孔结构的聚砜分离膜.随着[C8mim][PF6]含量的增大,聚砜膜的孔结构从典型的不对称指状孔结构、高度拉长的大孔结构、典型的大空穴,变化至海绵状孔结构,离子液体[C8mim][PF6]在聚砜膜制备中表现出孔结构控制、增塑作用.通过能谱分析表明,[C8mim][PF6]在所制备的聚砜膜中存在部分的保留,通过水与聚砜膜表面接触角的测定,[C8mim][PF6]在聚砜膜中的残留提高了膜的亲水性能.基于相分离过程的基本理论,探讨了疏水性[C8mim][PF6]在铸膜液相分离过程中孔结构形成的作用机理.研究表明,[C8mim][PF6]在铸膜液中含量越高,对于相分离的延时效应越大,体系更易发生延时分相.  相似文献

An apparatus to determine the vapor-liquid equilibria of CO(2)/ionic liquid (IL)/organic solvent multisystems and the viscosity of the liquid phase at elevated pressures has been constructed. The solubility of CO(2) in 3-butyl-1-methyl-imidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C(4)mim][PF(6)]) and the viscosity of CO(2)-saturated [C(4)mim][PF(6)] have been studied at 313.15, 323.15, and 333.15 K and at pressures up to 12.5 MPa. The phase behavior of CO(2)/[C(4)mim][PF(6)]/methanol ternary mixture and the viscosity of the liquid phases at equilibrium condition have also been determined at 313.15 K and at 7.15 and 10.00 MPa. The partition coefficients of the components in the ternary system are calculated. Peng-Robinson equation of state and some thermodynamic functions are combined to calculate the fugacity coefficients of the components in the system. It demonstrates that the viscosity of the IL-rich phase decreases significantly with increasing pressure of CO(2), and the effect of temperature on the viscosity of CO(2)/IL mixture is not noticeable at high pressure, although the viscosity of the CO(2)-free IL decreases dramatically with increasing temperature. Compressed CO(2) may become an attractive reagent for reducing the viscosity of ILs in many applications. The mole fraction of methanol in the CO(2)-rich phase is much lower than that in the IL-rich phase; this indicates that the interaction between the IL and methanol is stronger than that between CO(2) and methanol. The fugacity coefficient of CO(2) in IL-rich phase is larger than unity, while that of methanol is much small than unity, which further suggests that methanol-IL interaction is much stronger than CO(2)-IL interaction. However, the CO(2)-IL interaction is stronger than the CO(2)-methanol interaction.  相似文献

本文把短链离子液体(IL)四氟硼酸1-乙基-3-甲基咪唑鎓[C2mim]BF4引入正负离子表面活性剂十二烷基硫酸钠(SDS)和十二烷基三甲基溴化铵(DTAB)双水相体系(SDS/DTAB/H2O)中,研究了IL对双水相相图及相分离体系性质的影响。结果表明,[C2mim]BF4的阳离子性质是影响阴离子表面活性剂过量区域性质的主要因素,IL通过静电作用、氢键作用等改变体系中聚集体的形貌,最终导致阴离子双水相(ATPSa)的消失。IL的阴离子对阳离子双水相(ATPSc)区域性质起着决定作用;IL的盐效应引起的对表面活性剂混合胶束扩散双电层的压缩作用,不但促进胶团的形成,缩短了形成稳定胶团所需要的时间,加快了双水相的相分离速度,而且也造成了形成ATPSc所需DTAB含量的提高。IL的引入改变了ATPSc上、下相表面活性剂的组成及含量,使富含表面活性剂的上相中阳离子表面活性剂含量更高,进而提高了双水相的萃取性能,其上相对甲基橙的萃取效率可高达96.67%。  相似文献

Oxidative addition of methyl iodide to Vaska’s complex in the ionic liquids 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium triflate [C4mim][OTf], [C4mim] bis(trifluormethylsulfonyl)imide [Tf2N], and N-hexylpyridinium [C6pyr][Tf2N] occurred cleanly to give the expected Ir(III) oxidative addition product. Pseudo-first order rate constants were determined for the oxidative addition reaction in each solvent ([Vaska’s] = 0.25 mM, [CH3I] = 37.5 mM). The observed rate constants under these conditions were 5-10 times slower than the rate seen in DMF. At high methyl iodide concentrations (>23 mM), the expected first order dependence on methyl iodide was not observed. In each ionic liquid, there was no change in the reaction rates within experimental error over the methyl iodide concentration range of 23-75 mM. At lower methyl iodide concentration, a decrease in rate was observed in [C4mim][Tf2N] with decreasing concentration of methyl iodide.  相似文献

Most ionic liquids are known to be hygroscopic to varying degrees, and that can be detrimental or useful depending upon the application in question. Water can accumulate slowly over hours or days to saturation levels corresponding to the humidity level. When designing or deploying a new ionic liquid it is important to be able to estimate its maximum moisture absorbing ability at the temperature and pressure of its operation. With this goal in mind we have carried out computational studies on three ionic liquid systems based on [BF(4)](-), [PF(6)](-), and [Tf(2)N](-) anions and 1-alkyl-3-methyl-imidazolium ([C(n)mim](+)) cations within an implicit solvent formalism. For highly hygroscopic systems like [C(n)mim][BF(4)] we find that non-iterative calculations with single water molecules can lead to significant underestimation of the maximum moisture content, while iterative calculations can result in miscibility behavior qualitatively different from experimental observations. On the other hand, the inclusion of small hydrogen-bonded water-clusters up to an appropriately chosen size is shown to yield better quantitative agreements with experimentally observed water uptake. Additionally, such calculations appear consistent with a number of thermodynamically interesting phase behaviors, including limited-solubility to full-miscibility transitions as a function of temperature and as a function of the alkyl chain length of the imidazolium cation. For hydrophobic systems like [C(n)mim][PF(6)] and [C(n)mim][Tf(2)N] the computed solubility (for each n) is found to have a smooth convergence behavior as a function of the largest cluster-size considered with the results for the larger clusters being close to that obtained by iterative calculations with single water molecules.  相似文献

Effects of Lewis acid BF3·OEt2, and BrCnsted acids TsOH, CF3COOH, H3PO4, and HCIO4 as cocatalyst respectively on the ligand-free palladium-catalyzed amidocarbonylation were investigated. SO3H-functional ionic liquids 1-methyl-3-(4-sulfonic acid)butylimidazolium hydrosulfate [MIm(CH2)4803H][HSO4] and 1-methyl-3-(4-sulfonic acid)butylimidazolium triflate [MIm(CH2)4SO3H][OTf] were firstly employed as cocatalysts instead of these Lewis acid and Brφnsted acids. By using a ligand-free and weak corrosive catalyst in situ prepared form PdBr2, LiBr.H2O, and [MIm(CH2)4SO3H][OTf], the arnidocarbo- nylation of benzaldehyde, acetamide, and CO could proceed smoothly and afford N-acetyl-α-phenylglycine with yield of 58% in [C6mim]PF6 medium.  相似文献

This article reports a study of the effect of anions on the optical Kerr effect (OKE) spectra of binary ionic liquid mixtures with one mixture comprising the 3-methyl-1-pentylimidazolium ([C 5mim] (+)) cation and the anions PF 6 (-) and CF 3CO 2 (-) (TFA (-)), and another mixture comprising the [C 5mim] (+) cation and the anions Br (-) and bis(trifluomethanesulfonyl)imide (NTf 2 (-)). The spectra were obtained by the use of optical heterodyne-detected Raman-induced Kerr Effect Spectroscopy at 295 K. The OKE spectra of the mixtures are compared with the calculated mole-fraction weighted sum of the normalized OKE spectra of the neat liquids. The OKE spectra are nearly additive for [C 5mim]Br/[C 5mim][NTf 2] mixtures, but nonadditive for [C 5mim][PF 6]/[C 5mim][TFA] mixtures. In the case of the equimolar [C 5mim][PF 6]/[C 5mim][TFA] mixture, the nonadditivity is such that the experimental OKE spectrum is narrower than the calculated OKE spectrum. The additivity or nonadditivity of OKE spectra for IL mixtures can be explained by assuming ionic liquids are nanostructurally organized into nonpolar regions and ionic networks. The ionic networks in mixtures will be characterized by "random co-networks" for anions that are nearly the same in size (PF 6 (-) and TFA (-)) and by "block co-networks" for anions that differ greatly in size (Br (-) and NTf 2 (-)).  相似文献

We determined the vapor pressures of aqueous solutions of 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ([C 2mim])-based ionic liquids (IL) with counteranions, tetrafluoroborate (BF 4 (-)), trifluoromethanesulfonate (OTF (-)), and iodide (I (-)). Because in literature the evidence is accumulating and pointing to the fact that ionic liquid ions do not dissociate in aqueous media for the most of the concentration range, we analyzed the vapor pressure data on the basis of binary mixture, and the excess chemical potentials of each component were calculated. From these, the intermolecular interactions in terms of excess chemical potential and hence the concentration fluctuations were evaluated. Though any further discussion into the mixing schemes of the mixture awaits the excess partial molar enthalpy and hence the excess partial molar entropy data, the net interaction in terms of excess chemical potential indicates that the affinity of each IL is ranked in the descending order [C 2mim]I > [C 2mim]OTF > [C 2mim]BF 4. This is consistent with our earlier findings that [C 2mim] (+) is modestly amphiphilic with almost equal hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity, I (-) is a hydrophile, and OTF (-) is amphiphilic, and BF 4 (-) is believed to be strongly hydrophobic.  相似文献

The colloidal stability of bare and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)-grafted silica nanoparticles was studied in 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium ([C(n)mim])-based ionic liquids (ILs) with different anionic structures. The theoretical estimation of the colloidal interaction between monodispersed bare silica particles by using the Derjaguin-Landau-Verwey-Overbeek theory indicates that bare silica particles cannot be stabilized and they rapidly form aggregates in all the ILs used in this study. The instability of bare silica particles was experimentally confirmed by dynamic light scattering measurement and in situ transmission electron microscopy observations by utilizing the negligible vapor pressure of ILs. This evidence suggests that electrostatic stabilization is inefficient in ILs because of the high ionic atmosphere and the resulting surface-charge screening. The PMMA-grafted silica particles exhibited long-term colloidal stability in [C(4)mim][PF(6)] and [C(n)mim][NTf(2)], which are compatible with the grafted PMMA. On the other hand, the PMMA-grafted particles could not be stabilized in [C 4mim][BF 4] due to the poor solubility of the grafted PMMA in the IL. Effective steric stabilization is important for obtaining stable colloidal particles in ILs.  相似文献

The glass transition in prototypical room temperature ionic liquids has been investigated by molecular dynamics simulations based on an Amber-like empirical force field. Samples of [C(4)mim][PF(6)], [C(4)mim][Tf(2)N], and [C(3)mim][Tf(2)N] have been quenched from the liquid phase at T = 500 to a glassy state at T ~ 0 K in discontinuous steps of 20 K every 1.2 ns. The glass temperature estimated by simulation (T(g) = 209 K for [C(4)mim][PF(6)], T(g) = 204 K for [C(4)mim][Tf(2)N], and T(g) = 196 K for [C(3)mim][Tf(2)N]) agrees semi-quantitatively with the experimental values (T(g) = 193÷196 K for [C(4)mim][PF(6)], T(g) = 186÷189 K for [C(4)mim][Tf(2)N], and T(g) = 183 K for [C(3)mim][Tf(2)N]). A model electron density is introduced to identify voids in the system. The temperature dependence of the size distribution of voids provided by simulation reproduce well the experimental results of positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy reported in G. Dlubek, Y. Yu, R. Krause-Rehberg, W. Beichel, S. Bulut, N. Pogodina, I. Krossing, and Ch. Friedrich, J. Chem. Phys. 133, 124502 (2010), with only one free parameter needed to fit the experimental data.  相似文献

Raman spectra of the ionic liquids, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C4mim][PF6]), 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([C6mim]Cl), and 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C6mim][PF6]), and binary mixtures thereof, have been assigned using ab initio MP2 calculations. The previously reported anti and gauche forms of the [C4mim]+ cation have been observed, and this study reveals this to be a general feature of the long-chain 1-alkyl derivatives. Analysis of mixtures of [C6mim]Cl and [C6mim][PF6] has provided information on the nature of the hydrogen bonding between the imidazolium headgroup and the anions, and the invariance of the essentially 50:50 mixture of the predominant conformers informs on the nature of glass formation in these systems.  相似文献

Phase equilibrium conditions and the crystallographic properties of structure-H type gas hydrates containing various amounts of methane (CH4), carbon dioxide (CO2), neohexane (2,2-dimethylbutane; NH), and liquid water were investigated. When the CH4 concentration was as high as approximately 70%, the phase equilibrium pressure of the structure-H hydrate, which included NH, was about 1 MPa lower at a given temperature than that of the structure-I hydrate with the same composition (except for a lack of NH). However, as the CO2 concentration increased, the pressure difference between the structures became smaller and, at CO2 concentrations below 50%, the phase equilibrium line for the structure-H hydrate crossed that for the structure I. This cross point occurred at a lower temperature at higher CO2 concentration. Extrapolating this relation between the cross point and the CO2 concentration to 100% CO2 suggests that the cross-point temperature would be far below 273.2 K. It is then difficult to form structure-H hydrates in the CO2-NH-liquid water system. To examine the structure, guest composition, and formation process of structure-H hydrates at various CH4-CO2 compositions, we used the methods of Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and gas chromatography. Raman spectroscopic analyses indicated that the CH4 molecules were found to occupy both 5(12) and 4(3)5(6)6(3) cages, but they preferably occupied only the 5(12) cages. On the other hand, the CO2 molecules appeared to be trapped only in the 4(3)5(6)6(3) cages. Thus, the CO2 molecules aided the formation of structure-H hydrates even though they reduced the stability of that structure. This encaged condition of guest molecules was also compared with the theoretical calculations. In the batch-type reactor, this process may cause the fractionation of the remaining vapor composition in the opposite sense as that for CH4-CO2 hydrate (structure-I), and thus may result in an alternating formation of structure-H hydrates and structure-I in the same batch-type reactor.  相似文献
