A routine method based on Fourier transform infrared spectrometry was developed for the simultaneous determination of pirimicarb and endosulfan in commercially available pesticide formulations. The method is based on peak area absorbance measurements between 1362 and 1352 cm(-1), corrected with a baseline fixed at 1338 cm(-1), for pirimicarb and peak area absorbance measurements between 919 and 909 cm(-1) with a baseline fixed at 931 cm(-1) for endosulfan; chloroform solutions for analysis were obtained by direct dilution of emulsifiable concentrates or by solvent extraction from solid samples. Various extraction conditions and appropriate band selection were investigated, and interference studies were performed. Under the experimental conditions selected, limits of detection of 13 microg/g for pirimicarb and 150 microg/g for endosulfan were obtained that correspond to 0.13 and 1.6% (w/w), respectively, in commercial samples. Results from analyses of commercial samples by the developed method compared well with those obtained by a liquid chromatography reference method.  相似文献

Rapid analytical methods for the determination of endosulfan isomers and endosulfan-sulfate in air and plant samples were developed. The insecticides were trapped from air using a column containing Florisil and extracted with a low volume of ethyl acetate, assisted by sonication. Pesticide residues were determined by gas chromatography with electron-capture detection using a nonpolar capillary column. Residue identities were confirmed by gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. Recoveries of these compounds from air samples were always higher than 78% with an RSD lower than 11% and the detection limits obtained were at least 0.3 ng/l air. Leaf samples were homogenised with ethyl acetate and extracts cleaned-up on an aluminium oxide column. Pesticides were eluted with a hexane-ethyl acetate (80:20, v/v) mixture. Recoveries obtained from plant samples were higher than 78% with an RSD lower than 14% and detection limits in leaves were 0.02 microg/g for each pesticide. These methods were applied to study the volatilisation of endosulfan from tomato leaves under laboratory conditions. A volatilisation rate near 1% of the initial amount of endosulfan per hour was obtained during the first 24 h at room temperature.  相似文献

A simple, fast and economical method has been developed for the determination of endosulfan and five pyrethroid insecticides, cypermethrin, deltamethrin, fenvalerate, lambda-cyhalothrin and permethrin, in virgin olive oil. The method uses a Sep-Pak alumina-N column cleanup after a liquid-liquid extraction or low-temperature precipitation step, and gas chromatography (GC) with electron-capture detection. The matrix effect was assessed for the GC systems used. Recoveries were 71-91% with RSD values of 6-17%. The method was applied to 338 virgin olive oil samples for monitoring of residues of these pesticides. Cypermethrin and lambda-cyhalothrin were detected at the limit of quantification in one sample each, while 22% of samples contained endosulfan residues, mostly at very low levels ranging from 0.02 to 0.57 mg/kg.  相似文献

A new analytical method combining solid-phase extraction and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS-MS) is proposed to determine the insecticide endosulfan as well as its metabolites endosulfan-ether, -lactone, and -sulfate in human serum. Most matrix interferences are avoided using a cleanup step included in the sample treatment and an instrumental technique such as GC-MS-MS, which presents a high sensitivity and selectivity. Recoveries of spiked compounds range between 94.8 and 100.4% and 93.4 and 99.7% at fortification levels of 10 and 30 ng/mL, respectively. The relative standard deviation is lower than 17.6% in all cases, and the limits of detection calculated range from 6 to 19 pg/mL. Serum samples of nine agricultural workers that spray endosulfan into greenhouses in Almería (Spain) and two nonoccupationally exposed people are analyzed, and endosulfan is found in all the samples studied.  相似文献

A novel analytical approach has been developed and evaluated for the quantitative analysis of a selected group of widely used pesticides (dimethoate, simazine, atrazine, diuron, terbuthylazine, methyl-parathion, methyl-pirimiphos, endosulfan I, endosulfan II, endosulfan sulphate, cypermethrin and deltamethrin), which can be found at trace levels in olive oil and olives. The proposed methodology is based on matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD), (with a preliminary liquid-liquid extraction in olive oil samples) using aminopropyl as sorbent material with a clean-up performed in the elution step with Florisil, followed by mass spectrometric identification and quantitation of the selected pesticides using both gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) in selected ion monitoring (SIM) mode and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS-MS) in positive ionization mode. The recoveries obtained (with mean values between 85 and 115% (obtained at different fortification levels) with RSD values below 10% in most cases, confirm the usefulness of the proposed methodology for the analyses of these kind of complex samples with a high fat content. Moreover, the obtained detection limits, which were below 5 microg kg(-1) by LC-MS analyses and ranged from 10 to 60 microg kg(-1) by GC-MS meet the requirements established by the olive oil pesticide regulatory programs. The method was satisfactorily applied to different olives and olive oil samples.  相似文献

A method was developed for the determination of thiabendazole (TBZ) in orange juice and rind based on matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD). TBZ was extracted with ethyl acetate and the extract was subsequently cleaned up on a solid-phase extraction column. Fungicide residues were determined by liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. Recoveries through the method ranged from 87 to 97% with relative standard deviations < or = 11%. The detection and quantitation limits were 0.15 and 0.50 microg/kg, respectively. The confirmation of TBZ residues in positive samples was performed by solid-phase microextraction followed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection using selected ion monitoring. The developed method was applied to determine TBZ levels in commercial orange juices and in juice and rind of fresh oranges. The influence of storage and washing of fruits on TBZ residues was also studied.  相似文献

In the present work, an analytical multiresidue method has been developed for the analysis of 32 organochlorine, organophosphorus and organonitrogen pesticides at microg kg(-1) levels in virgin olive oil. The method consists of the extraction of the pesticides with acetonitrile saturated in n-hexane followed by a clean-up process based on gel permeation chromatography (GPC) with ethyl acetate-ciclohexane (1:1) as mobile phase to separate the low-molecular mass pesticides from the high-molecular mass fat constituents of the oil. The target compounds were determined in the final extract by gas chromatography (GC) using thermoionic specific (TSD) and electron-capture (ECD) detection. In the case of positive samples, the amounts found were confirmed by GC-MS/MS, being the results in good agreement. Recoveries and RSDs (n = 10) values were 91-124% and 1-8% (GC-ECD), 82-100% and 9-20% (GC-TSD), and 89-105% and 4-14% (GC-MS/MS), respectively. The three proposed methods were applied to samples collected directly in two olive mills located in the Jaén province (Spain). Specifically, 24 samples of virgin olive oil were collected. The most frequently pesticide residues found were the herbicides terbuthylazine and diuron and endosulfan sulfate, a degradation product of the insecticide endosulfan. The herbicide concentration was higher in those oil samples obtained from olives which were collected from the ground after they had fallen down than in those oil samples from olives harvested directly from the tree. The GC-MS/MS developed method was also applied to the analysis of an olive oil sample from a proficiency test spiked with organochlorine pesticides and all the values obtained were within the specified "satisfactory" range.  相似文献

A new method for the simultaneous determination of 1,4-dichlorobenzene (p-DCB), naphthalene and 1,2-dibromoethane (1,2-DBE) residues in honey has been developed. Analysis is carried out using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) in selected ion monitoring mode (SIM), after extraction and preconcentration of target analytes by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME), with a 100 microm film thickness polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) fiber. Several parameters affecting the extension of the adsorption process (i.e., addition of salt, extraction time, extraction temperature) were studied. The optimal conditions for the determination of these analytes were established. The proposed HS-SPME method showed good sensitivity, without carryover between the samples. Linearity was studied from 5 to 2500 microg kg(-1) for p-DCB, 0.5 to 500 microg kg(-1) for naphthalene and 5 to 500 microg kg(-1) honey for 1,2-DBE with correlation coefficients (r(2)) ranging from 0.9901 to 0.9999. Precision was assessed and both intra and inter-day R.S.D.s (%) were below 6.3%. The detection limits were found to be 1, 0.1 and 2 microg kg(-1) honey for p-DCB, naphthalene and 1,2-DBE, respectively. The percentage recoveries that were evaluated with the proposed HS-SPME method and the standard addition calibration technique gave values among 72.8 and 104.3% for measurements in samples spiked with one target analyte or mixtures of the three. This method has been applied for the analysis of unknown honey samples. The results showed an excellent applicability of the proposed method for the determination of the target compounds in honey samples.  相似文献

A multiresidue method based on solid-phase extraction was developed for the simultaneous determination of 50 pesticides in commercial juices. The extraction procedure was carried out in C18 columns preconditioned with acetonitrile and water. The subsequent elution of pesticides was performed with a mixture of hexane-ethyl acetate (1:1, v/v) prior to the determination by gas chromatography with electron impact mass spectrometric detection in the selected ion monitoring mode (GC-MS-SIM), using one target and two qualifier ions. Standards were prepared spiking blank juice samples to counteract the observed matrix effect. Average recoveries for all the pesticides studied were higher than 91% with relative standard deviations lower than 9% in the concentration range of 0.02-0.1 μg/mL and the detection limits achieved ranged from 0.1 to 4.6 μg/L. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of these compounds in commercial juices and diazinon, ethion and procymidone were the pesticides encountered, although the levels found were very low.  相似文献

A method has been developed for the trace determination of two sunscreen constituents (2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone and octyldimethyl-p-aminobenzoic acid) in water samples, which are commonly used in commercial formulations. The method employs solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and gas chromatography with flame ionization and mass spectrometric detection. The technique was developed with headspace and direct sampling in order to demonstrate the applicability of these SPME extraction modes for the identification of these two UV absorbing compounds in waters. The main parameters affecting the SPME process, such as desorption time, extraction time profile, salt additives, pH, and temperature, were investigated. The poly(dimethylsiloxane) 100-microm and polyacrylate 85-microm fiber coatings were found to be the most efficient for the extraction of these compounds from aqueous matrices. Linear calibration curves in the wide range of 10-500 microg/l were obtained for both compounds yielding typical RSD values of 5-9% for both extraction modes. The recoveries were relatively high, 82-98%, with quantitation limits below 1 microg/l. A comparison between the proposed methods and the conventional multiresidue solid-phase extraction revealed that the proposed technique(s) can be reliably used for sunscreen residue measurement in water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A stir bar sorptive extraction method for the determination of volatile compounds in orange juices was developed. The extraction variables were optimized using a reduced two‐level factorial screening design (25‐1), and the most suitable analytical conditions for the extraction of the studied compounds were: sample volume 10 mL, extraction time 60 min, stirring speed 1800 rpm, NaCl amount 30% (weight/volume), and twister length 10 mm. The optimized method was further validated, obtaining good linearity and detection and quantification limits low enough to correctly determine the studied compounds. As well, for most of the studied compounds precision and recovery values were good. Several orange juice samples (squeezed and commercial) were extracted following the optimized extraction method and analyzed by gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry detection. The method has proven to be suitable for the determination of the aroma of orange juice, of which limonene was the major volatile compound in all the studied samples.  相似文献

A method has been developed for the target analysis of over 100 pesticides and contaminants in a complex feed matrix. The method is based on extraction with ethyl acetate, cleanup by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and dispersive solid-phase extraction (SPE) with primary secondary amine phase (PSA), and analysis by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with full scan time-of-flight mass spectrometric detection (GC x GC-TOF-MS). Parameters studied during method development included a dispersive SPE cleanup step after GPC, large volume injection into the GC system and the GC x GC separation. Qualitative and quantitative performance of the GC x GC system was evaluated by analyzing spiked extracts in the range equivalent to 1-100 microg/kg in feed. At levels of 50 microg/kg and higher, all compounds targeted for could be identified fully automatically by the software based on their mass spectra. At lower levels the hit rate decreased with the concentration. System linearity was excellent in solvent and only slightly affected by matrix (correlation coefficients r>or=0.995 for 90% of the compounds). Limits of quantification were in the 1-20 microg/kg range for most compounds. The overall method was validated for 106 compounds at the 10 and 100 microg/kg level. Recoveries between 70% and 110% and RSDs below 20% were obtained for the majority of the compounds.  相似文献

Due to the wide range of pesticides that can be used in agriculture, the development of fast multiresidue methods that simultaneously determine polar and non-polar pesticides is greatly demanded. This study shows the development and validation of a multiresidue method for the analysis of 98 non-polar pesticides and 28 polar pesticides in soil. A simultaneous extraction step by pressurized liquid extraction was utilized. The optimum results were obtained using ethyl acetate-methanol (3:1, v/v) with 2 min of preheat time and 85 degrees C as the extraction temperature. The final determination of non-polar pesticides was performed by GC, whereas polar pesticides were determined by ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC). Both GC and UPLC were coupled to triple-quadrupole analyzers operating in tandem MS. The optimized extraction procedure was validated. The average extraction recoveries were in the range 72-108% (10 microg/kg) and 71-106% (50 microg/kg), with RSD values < or = 26%. The matrix effect was also evaluated, and matrix-matched standard calibration was finally applied for quantification. The suitability of the method was also checked by the analysis of a certified reference material. Furthermore, 26 real soil samples were analyzed by the proposed methods in order to assess their applicability. Several pesticides (e.g., bifenthrin, triadimefon, or endosulfan) were found in the samples.  相似文献

A novel, simple, and rapid single-drop microextraction (SDME) procedure combined with GC has been developed, validated, and applied for the determination of multiclass pesticide residues in honey samples. The SDME was optimized using a Plackett-Burman screening design considering all parameters that may influence an SDME procedure and a consequent central composite design to control the parameters that were found to significantly influence the pesticide determination. The developed analytical method required minimal volumes of organic solvents and exhibited good analytical characteristics with enrichment factors ranging from 3 for alpha-endosulfan to 10 for lindane, procymidone, and captan and method quantification limits ranging from 0.03 microg/kg for phosalone to 10.6 microg/kg for diazinon. The relative recoveries obtained ranged from 70.8% for captan to 120% for fenarimol, and the precision (RSD) ranged from 3 to 15%. The proposed SDME procedure followed by GC with an electron capture detector for quantification and GC/MS for identification was applied with success to the analysis of 17 honey samples. Monitoring results indicated a low level of honey contamination by diazinon, chlorpyrifos-ethyl, procymidone, bromopropylate, and endosulfan (alpha-, beta-, and endosulfan sulfate) residues that were far below the maximum residue limit values specified by the European Union for endosulfan (10 microg/kg) and bromopropylate (100 microg/kg) in honey samples.  相似文献

Two multiresidue methods were developed for the determination of 15 pesticides (organochlorines, organphosphorus compounds, pyrethroids, and fungicides) in medicinal herbs Isatis indigotica Fort. and its formulations. The analytical procedure is based on ultrasonic assisted extraction and liquid-liquid extraction (LLE). After solvents were added, the raw material or granule sample was sonicated in an ultrasonic water bath and then centrifuged, filtered, and cleaned up by LLE. The infusion sample was extracted with petroleum ether by LLE. The pesticide residues were determined by capillary gas chromatography with electron-capture or flame photometric detection. Recoveries with the method at concentrations between 0.4 microg/kg and 10 mg/kg ranged from 70.2 to 119.5% for raw material, 73.2 to 105.1% for granule formulation, and 72.8 to 113.3% for infusion formulation. The relative standard deviation values were <20% for all of the pesticides studied. The pesticide detection limits were within the ranges 0.3-0.5 microg/L for endosulfan, 3-7.5 microg/L for pyrethroids, 0.7-32.5 microg/L for organophosphorus pesticides, and 0.1-0.6 microg/L for the other pesticides. The proposed methods are simple and rapid and provide simultaneous determination of pesticide residues in Isatis indigotica Fort. with acceptable recoveries and repeatability and an adequate limit of determination.  相似文献

This paper describes a method for the sensitive and selective determination of two macrocyclic lactones (abamectin and spinosad) and azadirachtin in apple purée, concentrated lemon juice, tomato purée and canned peas. The general sample extraction-partitioning method for our gas chromatography and liquid chromatography multiresidue methods has been used. The analytical procedure involves an extraction with acetone and liquid-liquid partitioning with ethyl acetate/cyclohexane combined in one step. The extracts are analyzed by liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC/ESI-MS/MS) without any further clean-up step. The pesticides are separated on a reversed-phase C12 column using a gradient elution. Thirteen simultaneous MS/MS transitions of precursor ions were monitored. Studies at fortification levels of 2.5-10 microg/kg and 25-100 microg/kg gave mean recoveries ranging from 70-100% for all compounds with satisfactory precision (relative standard deviation (RSD) from 3-20%). The excellent selectivity and sensitivity allows quantification and identification of low levels of pesticides in canned peas, tomato and apple purées (limits of quantitation (LOQs) 1-5 microg/kg) and in concentrated lemon juice (LOQs 2-10 microg/kg). The quantification of analytes was carried out using the most sensitive transition for every compound and by 'matrix-matched' standards calibration.  相似文献

In the present study an analytical method was optimized for the determination of alpha-endosulfan, beta-endosulfan, endosulfan sulfate, endosulfan ether and endosulfan lactone in small volumes of environmental aqueous samples using solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and gas chromatography-electron capture detection (GC-ECD). A 100 micro m polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) phase was used for the extraction. The limit of detection (LOD) for the analytes varied between 0.01 and 0.03 micro g L(-1) with a relative standard deviation of 3 to 11%. The influence of the ionic strength on the extraction efficiency was investigated for the individual compounds. alpha-Endosulfan, beta-endosulfan, endosulfan sulfate and endosulfan ether were extracted successfully without salt addition. The extraction efficiency of endosulfan lactone was improved with 30% NaCl content. A general decrease in extraction efficiency for alpha-endosulfan, beta-endosulfan, endosulfan sulfate and endosulfan ether with high NaCl content (20-30%) in the solution was observed due to glass surface adsorption. No effect of dissolved organic material (DOM) on the extraction efficiency was observed. The extraction coefficients changed between Log K=2.17 and 3.33. A sample from the Antarctic region was analyzed using the optimized GC-ECD/SPME method. To confirm the results obtained for the real sample a GC with a mass spectrometer (MS) was used. Endosulfan sulfate, the most toxic metabolite of endosulfan, was found in the sample at a concentration of 0.3 micro g L(-1).  相似文献

A novel and simple method for the determination of active endocrine disrupter compounds (octylphenol OP, and nonylphenol NP) in paper using microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) and headspace solid-phase microextraction, coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry has been developed. Parameters affecting the efficiency in the MAE process such as exposure time and extraction solvent were studied in order to determine operating conditions. The optimised method was linear over the range studied (1.25-125 microg kg(-1) for OP and 9.50-950 microg kg(-1) for NP) and showed good level of precision, with a RSD lower than 10% and detection limits at 0.10 and 4.56 microg kg(-1) for OP and NP, respectively. The results obtained from six different types of paper revealed the presence of the target compounds in all samples analysed, at levels ranging between 3 and 211 microg kg(-1).  相似文献
