A series of ruthenium(II) acetonitrile, pyridine (py), carbonyl, SO2, and nitrosyl complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CR)(L)(PPh3)] (L = NCMe, py, CO, SO2) and [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CR)(L)(PPh3)]BF4 (L = NO) containing the bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)acetato (bdmpza) ligand, a N,N,O heteroscorpionate ligand, have been prepared. Starting from ruthenium chlorido, carboxylato, or 2-oxocarboxylato complexes, a variety of acetonitrile complexes [Ru(bdmpza)Cl(NCMe)(PPh3)] (4) and [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CR)(NCMe)(PPh3)] (R = Me (5a), R = Ph (5b)), as well as the pyridine complexes [Ru(bdmpza)Cl(PPh3)(py)] (6) and [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CR)(PPh3)(py)] (R = Me (7a), R = Ph (7b), R = (CO)Me (8a), R = (CO)Et (8b), R = (CO)Ph) (8c)), have been synthesized. Treatment of various carboxylato complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CR)(PPh3)2] (R = Me (2a), Ph (2b)) with CO afforded carbonyl complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CR)(CO)(PPh3)] (9a, 9b). In the same way, the corresponding sulfur dioxide complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CMe)(PPh3)(SO2)] (10a) and [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CPh)(PPh3)(SO2)] (10b) were formed in a reaction of the carboxylato complexes with gaseous SO2. None of the 2-oxocarboxylato complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2C(CO)R)(PPh3)2] (R = Me (3a), Et (3b), Ph (3c)) showed any reactivity toward CO or SO2, whereas the nitrosyl complex cations [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CMe)(NO)(PPh3)](+) (11) and [Ru(bdmpza)(O2C(CO)Ph)(NO)(PPh3)](+) (12) were formed in a reaction of the acetato 2a or the benzoylformato complex 3c with an excess of nitric oxide. Similar cationic carboxylato nitrosyl complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CR)(NO)(PPh3)]BF4 (R = Me (13a), R = Ph (13b)) and 2-oxocarboxylato nitrosyl complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2C(CO)R)(NO)(PPh3)]BF4 (R = Me (14a), R = Et (14b), R = Ph (14c)) are also accessible via a reaction with NO[BF4]. X-ray crystal structures of the chlorido acetonitrile complex [Ru(bdmpza)Cl(NCMe)(PPh3)] (4), the pyridine complexes [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CMe)(PPh3)(py)] (7a) and [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CC(O)Et)(PPh3)(py)] (8b), the carbonyl complex [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CPh)(CO)(PPh3)] (9b), the sulfur dioxide complex [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CPh)(PPh3)(SO2)] (10b), as well as the nitrosyl complex [Ru(bdmpza)(O2C(CO)Me)(NO)(PPh3)]BF4 (14a), are reported. The molecular structure of the sulfur dioxide complex [Ru(bdmpza)(O2CPh)(PPh3)(SO2)] (10b) revealed a rather unusual intramolecular SO2-O2CPh Lewis acid-base adduct.  相似文献

The reduction of ammonium pertechnetate with bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (dppm), and with diphenyl-2-pyridyl phosphine (Ph(2)Ppy), has been investigated. The neutral Tc(II) complex, trans-TcCl(2)(dppm)(2) (1), has been isolated from the reaction of (NH(4))[TcO(4)] with excess dppm in refluxing EtOH/HCl. Chemical oxidation with ferricinium hexafluorophosphate results in formation of the cationic Tc(III) analogue, trans-[TcCl(2)(dppm)(2)](PF(6)) (2). The dppm ligands adopt the chelating bonding mode in both complexes, resulting in strained four member metallocycles. With excess PhPpy, the reduction of (NH(4))[TcO(4)] in refluxing EtOH/HCl yields a complex with one chelating Ph(2)Ppy ligand and one unidentate Ph(2)Ppy ligand, mer-TcCl(3)(Ph(2)Ppy-P,N)(Ph(2)Ppy-P) (3). The cationic Tc(III) complexes, trans-[TcCl(2)(Ph(2)P(O)py-N,O)(2)](PF(6)) (4) and trans-[TcCl(2)(dppmO-P,O)(2)](PF(6)) (5) (Ph(2)P(O)py = diphenyl-2-pyridyl phosphine monoxide and dppmO = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane monoxide), have been isolated as byproducts from the reactions of (NH(4))[TcO(4)] with the corresponding phosphine. The products have been characterized in the solid state and in solution via a combination of single-crystal X-ray crystallography and spectroscopic techniques. The solution state spectroscopic results are consistent with the retention of the bonding modes revealed in the crystal structures.  相似文献

The reaction of [AuCl(P-N)], in which P-N represents a heterofunctional phosphine ligand, with pentafluorothiophenol, HSC(6)F(5), gives the thiolate gold derivatives [Au(SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] (P-N = PPh(2)py (1), PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py (2), or PPhpy(2) (3)). Complex [Au(SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)] (1) reacts with [Au(OTf)(PPh(2)py)] in a 1:1 or 1:2 molar ratio to afford the di- or trinuclear species [Au(2)(μ-SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)(2)]OTf (4) and [Au(3)(μ(3)-SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)(3)](OTf)(2) (5), with the thiolate acting as a doubly or triply bridging ligand. The reactivity of the mononuclear compounds [Au(SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] toward silver or copper salts in different ratios has been investigated. Thus, the treatment of [Au(SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] with Ag(OTf) or [Cu(NCMe)(4)]PF(6) in a 1:1 molar ratio gives complexes of stoichiometry [AuAg(OTf)(μ-SC(6)F(5))(P-N)] (P-N = PPh(2)py (6), PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py (7), or PPhpy(2) (8)) or [AuCu(μ-SC(6)F(5))(P-N)(NCMe)]PF(6) (P-N = PPh(2)py (9), PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py (10), or PPhpy(2) (11)). These complexes crystallize as dimers and display different coordination modes of the silver or copper center, depending on the present functionalized phosphine ligand. The treatment of [Au(SC(6)F(5))(PPh(2)py)] with silver and copper compounds in other molar ratios has been carried out. In a 2:1 ratio, the complexes [Au(2)M(μ-SC(6)F(5))(2)(μ-PPh(2)py)(2)]X (M = Ag, X = OTf (12); M = Cu, X = PF(6) (13)) are obtained. The same reaction in a 4:3 molar ratio affords the species [Au(4)M(2)(μ-SC(6)F(5))(3)(μ-PPh(2)py)(4)]X(3) (M = Ag, X = OTf (14); M = Cu, X = PF(6) (15)). The crystal structures of some of these complexes reveal different interactions among the metallic d(10) centers. The complexes display dual emission. The band at higher energy has been attributed to intraligand (IL) transitions, and the one at lower energy has been assigned to a ligand to metal (LM) charge transfer process. The latter emission is modulated by the heterometal (silver or copper).  相似文献

The first neutral, [IrClF(2)(NHC)(COD)] and [IrClF(2)(CO)(2)(NHC)] (NHC = IMes, IPr), and cationic, [IrF(2)py(IMes)(COD)][BF(4)] and [IrF(2)L(CO)(2)(NHC)][BF(4)] (NHC = IMes, L = PPh(2)Et, PPh(2)CCPh, py; NHC = IPr, L = py), NHC iridium(III) fluoride complexes, have been synthesised by the xenon difluoride oxidation of iridium(I) substrates. The stereochemistries of these iridium(III) complexes have been confirmed by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy in solution and no examples of fluoride-trans-NHC arrangements were observed. Throughout, CO was found to be a better co-ligand for the stabilisation of the iridium(III) fluoride complexes than COD. Attempts to generate neutral trifluoroiridium(III) complexes, [IrF(3)(CO)(NHC)], via the ligand substitution reaction of [IrF(3)(CO)(3)] with the free NHCs were unsuccessful.  相似文献

Whereas complexes of divalent metal halides (X = Cl, Br, I) with/from pyridine commonly crystallise as trans-[M(py)(4)X(2)]·2py, M on a site of 222 symmetry in space group Ccca, true for CuCl(2) and CuBr(2) in particular, the copper(II) iodide adduct is of the form [Cu(py)(4)I]I·2py, Cu on a site of mm2 symmetry in space group Cmcm, and five-coordinate (square-pyramidal), the same cationic species also being found in 2[Cu(py)(4)I](I(3))·[(py)(2)Cu(μ-I)(2)Cu(py)(2)] (structurally defined). Bromide or N-thiocyanate may be substituted for the unbound iodide ion in the solvated salt, resulting in complexes which crystallize in space group Ccca, but with both anions and the metal atom disordered. In [Cu(py)(4)(I(3))(2)], a pair of long Cu···I contacts approach a square-planar Cu(py)(4) array. Assignments of the ν(CuN) and ν(CuX) (X = Br, I, SCN) bands in the far-IR spectra are made, the latter with the aid of analogous assignments for [Cu(py)(2)X(2)] (X = Cl, Br), which show a dependence of ν(CuX) on the Cu-X bond length that is very similar to that determined previously for copper(i) halide complexes. The structure of the adventitious complex [(trans-)(H(2)O)(py)(4)CuClCu(py)(4)](I(3))(3)·H(2)O is also recorded, with six- and five-coordinate copper atoms; rational synthesis provides [{Cu(py)(4)}(2)(μ-Cl)](I(3))(3)·H(2)O with one water molecule less. In [{Cu(py)(4)Cl}((∞|∞))](I(3))·3py, square pyramidal [Cu(py)(4)Cl](+) cations, assisted by Cl···Cu interactions, stack to give rise to infinite polymeric strings. Several of these compounds were prepared mechanochemically, illustrating the applicability of this method to syntheses involving redox reactions as well as to complex syntheses involving up to five components. The totality of results demonstrates that the [Cu(II)(py)(4)] entity can be stabilized in an unexpectedly diverse range of mononuclear and multinuclear complexes through the presence of lattice pyridine molecules, the bulky triiodide ion, or a combination of both.

Structures of Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes of sterically hindered tripyridine ligands RL = tris(6-methyl-2-pyridyl)methane (HL), 1,1,1-tris(6-methyl-2-pyridyl)ethane (MeL), and 1,1,1-tris(6-methyl-2-pyridyl)propane (EtL), [Cu(RL)(MeCN)]PF(6) (1-3), [Cu(RL)(SO(4))] (4-6), and [Cu(RL)(NO(3))(2)] (7-9), have been explored in the solid state and in solution to gain some insights into modulation of the copper coordination structures by bridgehead alkyl groups (CH, CMe, and CEt). The crystal structures of 1-9 show that RL binds a copper ion in a tridentate facial-capping mode, except for 3, where EtL chelates in a bidentate mode with two pyridyl nitrogen atoms. To avoid the steric repulsion between the bridgehead alkyl group and the 3-H(py) atoms, the pyridine rings in Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes of MeL and EtL shift toward the Cu side as compared to those in Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes of HL, leading to the significant differences in the nonbonding interatomic distances, H.H (between the 3-H(py) atoms), N.N (between the N(py) atoms), and C.C (between the 6-Me carbon atoms), the Cu-N(py), Cu-N(MeCN), and Cu-O bond distances, and the tilt of the pyridine rings. The copper coordination geometries in 4-6, where a SO(4) ligand chelates in a bidentate mode, are varied from a square pyramid of 4 to distorted trigonal bipyramids of 5 and 6. Such structural differences are not observed for 7-9, where two NO(3) ligands coordinate in a monodentate mode. The structures of 1-9 in solution are investigated by means of the electronic, (1)H NMR, and ESR spectroscopy. The (1)H NMR spectra show that the structures of 1-3 in the solid state are kept in solution with rapid coordination exchange of the pyridine rings. The electronic and the ESR spectra reveal the structural changes of 5 and 6 in solution. The bridgehead alkyl groups and 6-Me groups in the sterically hindered tripyridine ligand play important roles in modulating the copper coordination structures.  相似文献

In a novel template synthesis of carbodiphosphoranes (CDPs), the phosphine functionalized CDP ligand C(dppm)(2) (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)) is formed in the coordination sphere of group 10 metals from CS(2) and 4 equivalents of dppm. The products are the PCP pincer complexes [M(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl (M = Ni, Pd, Pt) and 2 equivalents of dppmS. The compound C(dppm)(2), which is composed of a divalent carbon atom and two dppm subunits, represents a new PCP-type pincer ligand with the formally neutral carbon Lewis base of the CDP functionality as the central carbon. Treatment of [M(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl (M = Pd, Pt) with hydrochloric acid results in protonation at the CDP carbon atom and the formation of the PCP pincer complexes [M(Cl)(CH(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl(2) (M = Pd, Pt). The PCP pincer ligand [CH(dppm)(2)](+) involves a formally cationic central carbon donor. The reaction of [Ni(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl with HCl leads to the extrusion of NiCl(2) and formation of the diprotonated CDP compound [CH(2)(dppm)(2)]Cl(2), from which the monoprotonated conjugate base [CH(dppm)(2)]Cl is obtained upon addition of bases, such as NH(3). The crystal structures of [M(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl (M = Ni, Pd, Pt), [Ni(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)](2)[NiCl(4)], [M(Cl)(CH(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl(2) (M = Pd, Pt) as well as [CH(2)(dppm)(2)]Cl(2) and [CH(dppm)(2)]Cl are presented. A comparison of the solid state structures reveals interesting features, e.g. infinite supramolecular networks mediated by C-H···Cl hydrogen bond interactions and an unexpected loss of molecular symmetry upon protonation in the complexes [M(CH(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)(Cl)]Cl(2) (M = Pd, Pt) as a result of the flexible ligand backbone. Additionally the new compounds were characterized comprehensively in solution by multinuclear (31)P, (13)C and (1)H NMR spectroscopy: Several spectroscopic parameters show a striking variability in particular regarding the carbodiphosphorane functionality. Furthermore the compound [Ni(Cl)(C(dppm)(2)-κ3P,C,P)]Cl was examined by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and could be shown to display quasi-reversible oxidative as well as reductive behaviour.  相似文献

A series of Re(I) complexes, [Re(CO)(3)Cl(HPB)] (1), [Re(CO)(3)(PB)H(2)O] (2), [Re(CO)(3)(NO(3))(PB-AuPPh(3))] (3), and [Re(CO)(3)(NO(3))(PB)Au(dppm-H)Au](2) (4) [HPB = 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazole; dppm = 2,2'-bis(diphenylphosphinomethane)], have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray diffraction. Complex 1, which exhibits interesting pH-dependent spectroscopic and luminescent properties, was prepared by reacting Re(CO)(5)Cl with an equimolar amount of 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazole. The imidazole unit in complex 1 can be deprotonated to form the imidazolate unit to give complex 2. Addition of 1 equiv of AuPPh(3)(NO(3)) to complex 2 led to the formation of a heteronuclear complex 3. Addition of a half an equivalent of dppm(Au(NO(3)))(2) to complex 2 yielded 4. In both 3 and 4, the imidazolate unit acts as a multinuclear bridging ligand. Complex 4 is a rare and remarkable example of a Re(2)Au(4) aggregate in combination with μ(3)-bridging 2-(2'-pyridyl)benzimidazolate. Finally, complex 2 has been used to examine the Hg(2+)-recognition event among group 12 metal ions. Its reversibility and selectivity toward Hg(2+) are also examined.  相似文献

Reaction of Pt(diimine)(edt) (edt = 1,2-ethanedithiolate) with M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)(2+) (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) gave heterotrinuclear complexes [PtCu(2)(edt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](ClO(4)) (11) and [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(edt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (diimine = 2,2'-bpyridine (bpy), 12; 4,4'-dibutyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dbbpy), 13; phenanthroline (phen), 14; 5-bromophenanthroline (brphen), 15) when M = Cu(I). The reaction, however, afforded tetra- and trinuclear complexes [Pt(2)Ag(2)(edt)(2)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (17) and [PtAu(2)(edt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (21) when M = Ag(I) and Au(I), respectively. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, electrospray mass spectroscopy, (1)H and (31)P NMR, IR, and UV-vis spectrometry, and X-ray crystallography for 14, 17, and 18. The Pt(II)Cu(I)(2) heterotrinuclear complexes 11-15 exhibit photoluminescence in the solid states at 298 K and in the frozen acetonitrile glasses at 77 K. It is likely that the emission originates from a ligand-to-metal charge transfer (dithiolate-to-Pt) (3)[p(S) --> d(Pt)] transition for 11 and from an admixture of (3)[d(Cu)/p(S)-pi(diimine)] transitions for 12-16. The Pt(II)(2)Ag(I)(2) heterotetranuclear complexes 17 and 18 are nonemissive in the solid states and in solutions at 298 K but show photoluminescence at 77 K. The Pt(II)Au(I)(2) heterotrinuclear complexes 19-21, however, are luminescent at room temperature in the solid state and in solution. Compounds 19 and 20 afford negative solvatochromism associated with a charge transfer from an orbital of a mixed metal/dithiolate character to a diimine pi orbital.  相似文献

The first use of 2-pyridylcyanoxime, (py)C(CN)NOH, in transition metal chemistry is described. Depending on the nature of the metal starting material and the reaction conditions employed, the Cu(II)/(py)C(CN)NOH system has provided access to complexes [Cu(3)O{(py)C(CN)NO}(3)(NO(3))(H(2)O)(2)(MeOH)] (1), [Cu(4)O{(py)C(CN)NO}(4)(O(2)CMe)(2)] (2), [Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)](2n)·n[Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)] (3), and [Cu{(py)C(CN)NO}(2)](n) (4). The molecule of 1 consists of three Cu(II) atoms in a strictly equilateral arrangement bridged by a central μ(3)-oxide group. The molecule of 2 consists of a tetrahedron of Cu(II) atoms held together by a central μ(4)-oxide ion, four η(1):η(1):η(1):μ-(py)C(CN)NO(-) ligands and two η(1):η(1):μ-MeCO(2)(-) groups. The crystal structure of 3 consists of [Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)](2n) double chains and discrete cluster [Cu(4)(OH)(2){(py)C(CN)NO}(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)] molecules. The crystal structure of 4 consists of neutral polymeric chains based on centrosymmetric mononuclear [Cu{(py)C(CN)NO}(2)] units. The Cu(II) atoms are doubly bridged by the oximate groups of two η(1):η(1):η(1):μ-(py)C(CN)NO(-) ligands. Variable-temperature, solid-state direct current (dc) magnetic susceptibility studies were carried out for 1-4. The data indicate very strong antiferromagnetic exchange interactions for 1-3. The obtained J values are discussed in depth on the basis of the structural parameters of the complexes, literature reports, and existing magnetostructural correlations.  相似文献

The copper(I) and copper(II) complexes with the nitrogen donor ligands bis[(1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)methyl]amine (1-BB), bis[2-(1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)ethyl]amine (2-BB), N-acetyl-2-BB (AcBB), and tris[2-(1-methylbenzimidazol-2-yl)ethyl]nitromethane (TB) have been studied as models for copper nitrite reductase. The copper(II) complexes form adducts with nitrite and azide that have been isolated and characterized. The Cu(II)-(1-BB) and Cu(II)-AcBB complexes are basically four-coordinated with weak axial interaction by solvent or counterion molecules, whereas the Cu(II)-(2-BB) and Cu(II)-TB complexes prefer to assume five-coordinate structures. A series of solid state structures of Cu(II)-(1-BB) and -(2-BB) complexes have been determined. [Cu(2-BB)(NO(2))](ClO(4))(MeCN): triclinic, P&onemacr; (No. 2), a = 7.402(2) ?, b = 12.500(1) ?, c = 14.660(2) ?, alpha = 68.14(1) degrees, beta = 88.02(2) degrees, gamma = 78.61(1) degrees, V = 1233.0(4) ?(3), Z = 2, number of unique data [I>/= 2sigma(I)] = 2088, number of refined parameters = 319, R = 0.070. In all the complexes the 1-BB or 2-BB ligands coordinate the Cu(II) cations through their three donor atoms. The complexes with 2-BB appear to be more flexible than those with 1-BB. The nitrito ligand is bidentate in [Cu(2-BB)(NO(2))](ClO(4))(MeCN) and essentially monodentate in [Cu(1-BB)(DMSO-O)(NO(2))](ClO(4)). The copper(I) complexes exhibit nitrite reductase activity and react rapidly with NO(2)(-) in the presence of stoichiometric amounts of acid to give NO and the corresponding copper(II) complexes. Under the same conditions the reactions between the copper(I) complexes and NO(+) yield the same amount of NO, indicating that protonation and dehydration of bound nitrite are faster than its reduction. The NO evolved from the solution was detected and quantitated as the [Fe(EDTA)(NO)] complex. The order of reactivity of the Cu(I) complexes in the nitrite reduction process is [Cu(2-BB)](+) > [Cu(1-BB)](+) > [Cu(TB)](+) > [Cu(AcBB)](+).  相似文献

The picolyl-substituted NHC complex [Au(im(CH(2)py)(2))(2)]PF(6) (1) reacts with two equivalents of copper(I) halides, affording compounds [Au(im(CH(2)py)(2))(2)(CuX)(2)]PF(6) (X = Cl, 2; Br, 3; I, 4). Each complex contains a nearly linearly coordinated [Au(NHC)(2)](+) center where the two picolyl groups on each im(CH(2)py)(2) ligand chelate a single copper atom. The Cu(I) center resides in a distorted tetrahedral environment and is coordinated to two pyridyl groups, a halide ion, and a gold metalloligand. The Au(I)-Cu(I) separations measure 2.7030(5), 2.6688(9), and 2.6786(10) ? for 2-4, respectively. Additionally, each Cu(I) center is further coordinated by a semibridging NHC ligand with short Cu-C separations of ~2.3 ?. In solution, these complexes dissociate the Cu(I) ion. In the solid state, 2-4 are photoluminescent with respective emission maxima of 512, 502, and 507 nm. The reaction of [Au(im(CH(2)py)(2))(2)]PF(6) with four equivalents of CuBr afforded the coordination polymer {[AuCu(2)Br(2)(im(CH(2)py)(2))(2)]Br·3CH(3)CN}(n) (5). This polymeric complex contains [Au(NHC)(2)](+) units interconnected by Cu(2)Br(2) dimers. In 5, the Au-Cu separations are long at 4.23 and 4.79 ?, while the Cu-Cu distance is considerably shorter at 2.9248(14) ?. In the solid state, 5 is photoluminescent with a broad band appearing at 533 nm.  相似文献

Complex [Ag(tpba)N(3)] (1) was obtained by reaction of novel tripodal ligand N,N',N"-tris(pyrid-3-ylmethyl)-1,3,5-benzenetricarboxamide (TPBA) with [Ag(NH(3))(2)]N(3). While the reactions between 1,3,5-tris(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)-2,4,6-trimethylbenzene (TITMB) and silver(I) salts with different anions and solvent systems give six complexes: [Ag(3)(titmb)(2)](N(3))(3).CH(3)OH.4 H(2)O (2), [Ag(3)(titmb)(2)](CF(3)SO(3))(2)(OH).5 H(2)O (3), [Ag(3)(titmb)(2)][Ag(NO(3))(3)]NO(3).H(2)O (4), [Ag(3)(titmb)(2)(py)](NO(3))(3).H(2)O (py=pyridine) (5), [Ag(3)(titmb)(2)(py)](ClO(4))(3) (6), and [Ag(3)(titmb)(2)](ClO(4))(3).CHCl(3) (7). The structures of these complexes were determined by X-ray crystallography. The results of structural analysis of complexes 1 and 2, with the same azide anion but different ligands, revealed that 1 is a twofold interpenetrated 3D framework with interlocked cage-like moieties, while 2 is a M(3)L(2) type cage-like complex with a methanol molecule inside the cage. Entirely different structure and topology between 1 and 2 indicates that the nature of organic ligands affected the structures of assemblies greatly. While in the cases of complexes 2-7 with flexible tripodal ligand TITMB, they are all discrete M(3)L(2) type cages. The results indicate that the framework of these complexes is predominated by the nature of the organic ligand and geometric need of the metal ions, but not influenced greatly by the anions and solvents. It is interesting that there is a divalent anion [Ag(NO(3))(3)](2-) inside the cage 4 and an anion of ClO(4)(-) or NO(3)(-) spontaneously encapsulated within the cage of complexes 5, 6 and 7.  相似文献

A series of picolyl-substituted NHC-bridged triangular complexes of Ag(I) and Cu(I) were synthesized upon reaction of the corresponding ligand precursors, [Him(CH(2)py)(2)]BF(4) (1a), [Him(CH(2)py-3,4-(OMe)(2))(2)]BF(4) (1b), [Him(CH(2)py-3,5-Me(2)-4-OMe)(2)]BF(4) (1c), [Him(CH(2)py-6-COOMe)(2)]BF(4) (1d), and [H(S)im(CH(2)py)(2)]BF(4) (1e), with Ag(2)O and Cu(2)O, respectively. Complexes [Cu(3)(im(CH(2)py)(2))(3)](BF(4))(3) (2a), [Cu(3)(im(CH(2)py-3,4-(OMe)(2))(2))(3)](BF(4))(3) (2b), [Cu(3)(im(CH(2)py-3,5-Me(2)-4-OMe)(2))(3)](BF(4))(3), (2c), [Ag(3)(im(CH(2)py-3,4-(OMe)(2))(2))(3)](BF(4))(3), (3b), [Ag(3)(im(CH(2)py-3,5-Me(2)-4-OMe)(2))(3)](BF(4))(3) (3c), [Ag(3)(im(CH(2)py-6-COOMe)(2))(3)](BF(4))(3) (3d), and [Ag(3)((S)im(CH(2)py)(2))(3)](BF(4))(3) (3e) were easily prepared by this method. Complex 2e, [Cu(3)((S)im(CH(2)py)(2))(3)](BF(4))(3), was synthesized by a carbene-transfer reaction of 3e, [Ag(3)((S)im(CH(2)py)(2))(3)](BF(4))(3), with CuCl in acetonitrile. The ligand precursor 1d did not react with Cu(2)O. All complexes were fully characterized by NMR, UV-vis, and luminescence spectroscopies and high-resolution mass spectrometry. Complexes 2a-2c, 2e, and 3b-3e were additionally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Each metal complex contains a nearly equilateral triangular M(3) core wrapped by three bridging NHC ligands. In 2a-2c and 2e, the Cu-Cu separations are short and range from 2.4907 to 2.5150 ?. In the corresponding Ag(I) system, the metal-metal separations range from 2.7226 to 2.8624 ?. The Cu(I)-containing species are intensely blue photoluminescent at room temperature both in solution and in the solid state. Upon UV excitation in CH(3)CN, complexes 2a-2c and 2e emit at 459, 427, 429, and 441 nm, whereas in the solid state, these bands move to 433, 429, 432, and 440 nm, respectively. As demonstrated by (1)H NMR spectroscopy, complexes 3b-3e are dynamic in solution and undergo a ligand dissociation process. Complexes 3b-3e are weakly photoemissive in the solid state.  相似文献

The reactions of [AuClL] with Ag(2)O, where L represents the heterofunctional ligands PPh(2)py and PPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py, give the trigoldoxonium complexes [O(AuL)(3)]BF(4). Treatment of these compounds with thio- or selenourea affords the triply bridging sulfide or selenide derivatives [E(AuL)(3)]BF(4) (E=S, Se). These trinuclear species react with Ag(OTf) or [Cu(NCMe)(4)]PF(6) to give different results, depending on the phosphine and the metal. The reactions of [E(AuPPh(2)py)(3)]BF(4) with silver or copper salts give [E(AuPPh(2)py)(3)M](2+) (E=O, S, Se; M=Ag, Cu) clusters that are highly luminescent. The silver complexes consist of tetrahedral Au(3)Ag clusters further bonded to another unit through aurophilic interactions, whereas in the copper species two coordination isomers with different metallophilic interactions were found. The first is analogous to the silver complexes and in the second, two [S(AuPPh(2)py)(3)](+) units bridge two copper atoms through one pyridine group in each unit. The reactions of [E(AuPPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py)(3)]BF(4) with silver and copper salts give complexes with [E(AuPPh(2)CH(2)CH(2)py)(3)M](2+) stoichiometry (E=O, S, Se; M=Ag, Cu) with the metal bonded to the three nitrogen atoms in the absence of AuM interactions. The luminescence of these clusters has been studied by varying the chalcogenide, the heterofunctional ligand, and the metal.  相似文献

This article reports the synthesis and optical properties of three dinuclear, cationic copper complexes [Cu(2)(μ-dppm)(2)(μ-L)](NO(3))(2) (dppm diphenyldiphosphinomethane, L: L(A) 3,6-bis(2-pyridyl)-4,5-diphenyl-pyridazine, L(B) 3,6-bis(2-pyridyl)-4,5-di(4-pyridyl)-pyridazine and L(C) 3,6-bis(2-pyridyl)-8,9-diazafluoranthene). These were formed on the reaction of [Cu(μ-dppm)(NO(3))](2) with a series of N-donor (bppn) ligands L. The single crystal X-ray structures of [Cu(2)(μ-dppm)(2)(μ-L)](NO(3))(2)·CH(2)Cl(2) were determined and revealed that in both, the two copper atoms are held by three bridging ligands, two dppm ligands and one bppn ligand acting as a tetradentate bridge. The absorption spectra of the complexes present a MLCT [Cu → π*(N(∧)N)] band in the λ 370-425 nm region. These new complexes exhibit red-orange MLCT-based emission in the solid-state with lifetimes in the microsecond range. In oxygen-free dichloromethane solution, the complex [Cu(2)(μ-dppm)(2)(μ-L(C))](2+) has a long lifetime of 22.8 μs. The long emission lifetimes are attributed to a rigid conformation that precludes the possible distortion of the copper in the excited state.  相似文献

Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes having the general composition [M(L)(2)X(2)] [where L=2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde thiosemicarbazone, M=Ni(II) and Cu(II), X=Cl(-), NO(3)(-) and 1/2 SO(4)(2-)] have been synthesized. All the metal complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic moment, mass, IR, EPR and electronic spectral studies. The magnetic moment measurements of the complexes indicate that all the complexes are of high-spin type. On the basis of spectral studies an octahedral geometry has been assigned for Ni(II) complexes whereas tetragonal geometry for Cu(II) except [Cu(L)(2)SO(4)] which posseses five coordinated geometry. The ligand and its metal complexes were screened against phytopathogenic fungi and bacteria in vitro.  相似文献

The investigation of the new structures of Ag(I), Cu(II) and Au(III) complexes, [Ag(2)(Nor)(2)](NO(3))(2), [Cu(Nor)(2)(H(2)O)(2)]SO(4).5H(2)O and [Au(Nor)(2) (H(2)O)(2)]Cl(3) (where, Nor=norfloxacin) was done during the reaction of silver(I), copper(II) and gold(III) ions with norfloxacin drug ligand. Elemental analysis of CHN, infrared, electronic, (1)H NMR and mass spectra, as well as thermo gravimetric analysis (TG and DTG) and conductivity measurements have been used to characterize the isolated complexes. The powder XRD studies confirm the amorphous nature of the complexes. The norfloxacin ligand is coordinated to Ag(I) and Au(III) ions as a neutral monodentate chelating through the N atom of piperidyl ring, but the copper(II) complex is coordinated through the carbonyl oxygen atom (quinolone group) and the oxygen atom of the carboxylic group. The norfloxacin and their metal complexes have been biologically tested, which resulted in norfloxacin complexes showing moderate activity against the gram positive and gram negative bacteria as well as against fungi.  相似文献
