The effect of pure and high silica Hβ zeolites on the catalytic performance of toluene combustion over Pd/Hβ catalyst was evaluated.Pure and high silica β zeolites were prepared by direct synthesis procedures, then 0.1 wt% of palladium was impregnated on different Hβ zeolites via in-cipient wetness technique using palladium nitrate as the Pd source. The Pd/Hβ catalysts were characterized by XRD,N2 adsorption/desorption,H2O adsorption,NH3-TPD,H2-TPR and XPS techniques. With increasing the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of β zeolite, the activity of the Pd/Hβ catalysts for toluene combustion increased clearly and the pure silica β zeolite supported Pd catalyst showed the best catalytic activity. The superior catalytic performance of Pd/β catalyst prepared from pure silica β zeolite was attributed to its high hydrophobicity and the preserving ability for PdO active species.  相似文献

ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolites with different content of ZSM-5 have been synthesized by adding different amount of ZSM-5 to the synthetic system of β zeolite with NaAlO2, silica sol as the source of aluminum and silica, respectively, and TEA as the template under controlled condition of the synthesis. The ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite was studied by XRD, SEM, BET and NH3-TPD. The reaction activity of toluene alkylation was investigated with a mixture of toluene-methanol as the feedstock in a pulse micro-reactor over the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite. It is found that ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite has two kinds of zeolite structure including ZSM-5 and β zeolite, not in the form of a physical mixture. The pore structure of ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolites is different from that for β zeolite, ZSM-5 and their physical mixture. In addition, the peaks of both high and low temperature desorption of ammonia over the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite shift 23 ℃ to lower temperatures and the acid amount of its strong acid is 3% more than the physical mixture. So the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite produces the highest content of xylene, which is 10.4% higher than the physical mixture. And the ZSM-5/β co-crystalline zeolite has better selectivity for toluene alkylation and weaker de-methylation than β zeolite, ZSM-5 and their physical mixture.  相似文献

The activity and thermal stability of Pd/Al2O3 and Pd/(Al2O3+MOx) (M=Ca, La, Ce) palladium catalysts in the reaction of complete oxidation of methane are presented in this study. The catalyst supports were prepared by sol-gel method and they were dried either conventionally or with supercritical carbon dioxide. Then they were impregnated with palladium nitrate solution. The catalysts with unmodified alumina had a high surface area. The activity and thermal stability of the aluminasupported catalyst was also very high. The introduction of calcium, lanthanum, or cerium oxide into alumina support caused a decrease of the surface area in the way dependent on the support precursor drying method. These modifiers decreased the activity of palladium catalysts, and they required higher temperatures for the complete oxidation of methane than unmodified Pd/Al2O3. The improvement of the palladium activity by lanthanum and cerium support modifier was observed only at low temperatures of the reaction.  相似文献

Palladium containing EMT zeolite catalyst(Pd/EMT) was prepared and used for the indirect oxidative carbonylation of methanol to dimethyl carbonate(DMC).The EMT zeolite was employed as a new catalyst support and compared with the conventional Pd containing FAU zeolite catalyst(Pd/FAU).The Pd/EMT in contrast to the Pd/FAU catalyst exhibited high intrinsic activity with the turnover frequency of 0.25 s-1 vs.0.11 s-1.The Pd/EMT catalyst showed high CO conversion of 82% and DMC selectivity of 79%,that maintained for at least 130 h,while the activity of the Pd/FAU catalyst rapidly deteriorated within 12 h.The enhanced interactions between Pd and EMT zeolite inhibited the sintering of palladium clusters and maintained the Pd2+ active sites in the Pd/EMT catalyst. The stabilization of the mono-dispersed Pd clusters within the EMT zeolite is paramount to the excellent performance of the catalyst for the indirect oxidative carbonylation of methanol to DMC.  相似文献

Olefin alkylation of thiophenic sulfur process was carried out in model gasoline, using Hβ zeolites with different Si/Al2 ratios as catalysts. In particular, the influence of acid properties of Hβ zeolites on its catalytic ability for the thiophene alkylation, xylene alkylation and hexene oligomerization was investigated. The results showed that the acidity of the Hβ zeolite was increased with the decrease of Si/Al2 ratio, but its catalytic ability was not always increased. In fact, it reached the maximal catalytic ability at Si/Al2 ratio of 66, and under the reaction conditions of 60 ℃, 1.5 MPa, WHSV 3.0 h^-1 and time on stream 2 h. At the ratio, the conversion of thiophene, xylene, and oligomerized hexene were 96.6%, 2.7% and 2.8%, respectively. An optimal Si/Al2 ratio exists for the catalytic performance of Hβ zeolite. By investigating the coke deposition of the used Hβ zeolite catalysts, it has been found that the optimal Si/Al2 ratio is attributed to the combined effect of the carbocation activation capability and the hydrogen transformation capability of the Hβ zeolite catalyst.  相似文献

The activity and thermal stability of Pd/Al_2O_3 and Pd/(Al_2O_3 MO_x)(M=Ca,La,Ce) palladium catalysts in the reaction of complete oxidation of methane are presented in this study. The catalyst supports were prepared by sol-gel method and they were dried either conventionally or with supercritical carbon dioxide. Then they were impregnated with palladium nitrate solution. The catalysts with unmodified alumina had a high surface area. The activity and thermal stability of the alumina- supported catalyst was also very high. The introduction of calcium, lanthanum,or cerium oxide into alumina support caused a decrease of the surface area in the way dependent on the support precursor drying method. These modifiers decreased the activity of palladium catalysts, and they required higher temperatures for the complete oxidation of methane than unmodified Pd/Al_2O_3.The improvement of the palladium activity by lanthanum and cerium support modifier was observed only at low temperatures of the reaction.  相似文献

Composite supports Zr0.5Al0.5O1.75 modified by metal oxides, such as La2O3,ZnO,Y2O3 or BaO,were prepared by co-precipitation method, and palladium catalysts supported on the modified composite supports were prepared by impregnation method.Their properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),NH3 temperature-programmed desorption(NH3-TPD),H2 temperature-programmed reduction(H2-TPR),N2 adsorption/desorption,and CO-chemisorption.The catalytic activity and the resistance to water poisoning of the prepared Pd catalysts were tested in a simulated exhaust gas from lean-burn natural gas vehicles with and without water vapor. The results demonstrated that the modified supports had an apparent effect on the performance of Pd catalysts, compared with the Pd catalyst supported on the unmodified ZrAl.The addition of ZnO or Y2O3 promoted the conversion of CH4.In the absence of water vapor,Pd/ZnZrAl exhibited the best activity for CH4 conversion with the light-off temperature(T50) of 275℃ and the complete conversion temperature(T90) of 314℃,respectively.However,in the presence of water vapor,Pd/YZrAl was the best one over which the light-off temperature(T50) of methane was 339℃ and the complete conversion temperature(T90) was 371℃.These results indicated that Pd catalyst supported on the modified composite ZrAl support showed excellent catalytic activity at low temperature and high resistance to H2O poisoning for the exhaust purification of lean-burn natural gas vehicles.  相似文献

Galvanic deposition method was used to prepare the Pd/Ni-Al2O3-GD catalyst for the combustion of methane under lean conditions. The new catalyst and compared catalysts (Pd/Al2O3-IW, Pd-Ni/Al2O3-IW, Pd/Ni-Al2O3-IW) prepared by incipient wetness impregnation were characterized by N2-physisorption, XRD and TEM to clarify particle size and size distribution of palladium species. Combined O2-TPD and XPS results with the catalytic data, it shows that the surface palladium species with low valence exhibits better combustion performance due to their stronger interaction with support. The results indicate that the galvanic deposition method is an effective route to prepare efficient catalyst for methane combustion, and it also provides useful information for improving the present commercial catalyst.  相似文献

The acidic modulations of a series of HZSM-5 catalysts were successfully made by calcination at different treatment temperatures, i.e. 500, 600, 650, 700 and 800 ℃, respectively. The results indicated that the total acid amounts, their density and the amount of B-type acid of HZSM-5 catalysts rapidly decreased, while the amounts of L-type acid had almost no change and thus the ratio of L/B was obviously enhanced with the increase of calcination temperature (excluding 800 ℃). The catalytic performances of modified HZSM-5 catalysts for the cracking of n-butane were also investigated. The main properties of these catalysts were characterized by means of XRD, N2 adsorption at low temperature, NH3-TPD, FTIR of pyridine adsorption and BET surface area measurements. The results showed that HZSM-5 zeolite pretreated at 800 ℃ had very low catalytic activity for n-butane cracking. In the calcination temperature range of 500-700 ℃, the total selectivity to olefins, propylene and butene were increased with the increase of calcination temperature, while, the selectivity for arene decreased with the calcination temperature. The HZSM-5 zeolite calcined at 700 ℃ produced light olefins with high yield, at the reaction temperature of 650 ℃ the yields of total olefins and ethylene were 52.8% and 29.4%, respectively. Besides, the more important role is that high calcination temperature treatment improved the duration stability of HZSM-5zeolites. The effect of calcination temperature on the physico-chemical properties and catalytic performance of HZSM-5 for cracking of n-butane was explored. It was found that the calcination temperature had large effects on the surface area, crystallinity and acid properties of HZSM-5 catalyst, which further affected the catalytic performance for n-butane cracking.  相似文献

A series of hybrid catalysts were made by physically mixing Cu-ZrO 2 and γ-Al 2 O 3,for former it was modified with different loadings of La 2 O 3 prepared by co-precipitation method. The catalysts were characterized by BET,XRD,N 2 O-adsorption,EXAFS,H 2-TPR,NH 3-TPD techniques and evaluated in the synthesis of dimethyl ether from syngas. The results show that La 2 O 3 promoted catalysts displayed a significantly better catalytic performance compared with Cu-ZrO 2 /γ-Al 2 O 3 catalyst in CO conversion and DME selectivity, and the optimum catalytic activity was obtained when the content of La 2 O 3 was 12 wt%.The characterizations reveal that high copper dispersion, facile reducibility of copper particles and appropriate amount of acidic sites are responsible for the superior catalytic performance.  相似文献

A series of CoxMgxO/Al2O3/FeCrAl catalysts (x=0-1) were prepared. The structures of the catalysts were characterized using XRD, SEM, and TPR analyses. The catalytic activity of the catalysts for methane combustion was evaluated in a continuous flow microreactor. The results indicated that the active washcoats adhered well on the FeCrAl foils. The phases in the catalysts were Co--xMgxO solid solutions, α-Al2O3, and γ-Al2O3. The surface particle size of the catalysts varied with variations in the molar ratios of Co to Mg. The Co component of the Co1_xMgxO/Al2O3/FeCrAl catalysts played an important role in the catalytic activity for methane combustion. In the Co1-xMgxO/AluO3/FeCrAl series catalyst (x=0.2-0.8), the catalytic activity in terms of x was in the order of 0.5〉0.2〉0.8 under the experimental conditions. The presence of Mg in these catalysts could promote the thermal stability to a large extent. There were strong interactions between the Co1-xMgxO oxides and the AluO3/FeCrAl supports.  相似文献

Milliseconds process to produce hydrogen by steam methane reforming (SMR) reaction, based on Ni catalyst rather than noble catalyst such as Pd, Rh or Ru, in micro-channel reactors has been paid more and more attentions in recent years. This work aimed to further improve the catalytic performance of nickel-based catalyst by the introduction of additives, i.e., MgO and FeO, prepared by impregnation method on the micro-channels made of metal-ceramic complex substrate. The prepared catalysts were tested in the same micro-channel reactor by switching the catalyst plates. The results showed that among the tested catalysts Ni-Mg catalyst had the highest activity, especially under harsh conditions, i.e., at high space velocity and/or low reaction temperature. Moreover, the catalyst activity and selectivity were stable during the 12 h on stream test even when the ratio of steam to carbon (SIC) was as low as 1.0. The addition of MgO promoted the active Ni species to have a good dispersion on the substrate, leading to a better catalytic performance for SMR reaction.  相似文献

The roles of acidity and micropore structure of zeolite were studied in the hydrolysis of the model oligosaccharide of cellulose–cellobiose. HZSM-5, HY, HMOR and Hβ zeolites were selected as model catalysts for the hydrolysis of cellobiose. The effect of acidity of zeolite, including the strength, type and location, on its catalytic activity was investigated. The strong Br?nsted acid sites located in micropores are the active sites for the hydrolysis of cellobiose to glucose. Meanwhile, the catalytic performance of zeolite is also dependent on the micropore size of zeolite.  相似文献

Four kinds of palladium catalysts dispersed on poly-N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone were prepared by using CH3OH-NaOH, NaBH4, H2O or CH3OH-H2O as the reducing agent in the process of catalyst preparation. The catalysts were characterized by XPS, TEM, XRD and used for the hydrogenation of methyl acrylate. It was found that the valence state of palladium and distribution of palladium particles as well as the hydrogenation rate were greatly affected by the reducing agent. The best evenly dispersed palladium catalyst showing high hydrogenation activity was prepared using CH3OH-NaOH as the reducing agent.  相似文献

CuO-CeO2 catalyst prepared with co-precipitation showed high catalytic performance for the preferential oxidation of CO in excess hydrogen (PROX). Influence of pH values in the preparation of CuO-CeO2 on its catalytic performance was investigated in this work. The CuO-CeO2 catalyst prepared at pH = 13.03 had the smallest particle size (5.4 nm), the largest surface areas (138 m2/g) and the highest activity with CO conversion of 99.6% at 130 ℃. The CuO-CeO2 catalyst was characterized using BET, XRD and TPR techniques. The results showed that when the pH value of the mixed solution containing Cu and Ce species was properly adjusted, both the adsorption layers and diffusion layers of the formed colloidal particles in hydroxide precursor of CuO-CeO2 were modified, resulting in the better catalytic performance for PROX on the final CuO-CeO2 catalyst.  相似文献

Several supported Pd catalysts were prepared and their catalytic activity for selective oxidation of hydrogen was studied. The results show that the variety of the supports has great effect on the catalytic activity. The space velocity and the Pd loading show also certain influence. The most active catalyst Pd/C A can selectively remove H 2 at 170~200℃ and 1?800 h -1 from a feed gas consisting of H 2 (0 197%), O 2 (0 103%), CO (40%) and N 2 (balance). When CO content in the feed gas increases to 78%, the activity of the catalyst only decreases a little, indicating that the results obtained here seems applicable to the removal of H 2 from pure CO.  相似文献

Pd/Ce0.8Zro.202 catalysts modified by cobalt were prepared by a sequential impregnation method and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption/desorption (Brunauer-Emmet-Teller), oxygen storage capacity (OSC), CO-chemisorption, H2-temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The effect of Co on the performance of methanol decomposition was eval- uated at a fixed-bed microreactor. The results showed that the addition of Co can improve the oxygen storage capacity of the catalyst and the dispersion of Pd. XPS results indicated that Pd was in a partly oxidized (Pd6+, 1〈8〈2) state and Co2+ was present in Pd catalysts modified by Co. A 90% conversion of methanol was achieved at around 280 ℃ over Pd-Co/Ceo.8Zro.202 catalyst which was 20 ℃ lower than that over Pd/Ceo.sZro.202, indicating that both pd6+and Co2+ play an important role in improving the catalytic activity of methanol decomposition.  相似文献
