The paper examines the in-plane loading of a disc shaped rigid disc inclusion which is embedded in bonded contact with the plane surfaces of a penny-shaped crack. The mixed boundary value problem governing the elastostatic problem is reduced to the solution of a system of coupled integral equations, which are solved numerically to determine results of engineering interest. These results include the in-plane stiffness of the disc inclusion and the crack opening mode stress intensity factor at the boundary of the penny-shaped crack.  相似文献

The plane elastic problem of circular-arc rigid line inclusions is considered. The model is subjected to remote general loads and concentrated force which is applied at an arbitrary point inside either the matrix or the circular inclusion. Based on complex variable method, the general solutions of the problem were derived. The closed form expressions of the sectionally holomorphic complex potentials and the stress fields were derived for the case of the interface with a single rigid line. The exact expressions of the singular stress fields at the rigid line tips were calculated which show that they possess a pronounced oscillatory character similar to that for the corresponding crack problem under plane loads. The influence of the rigid line geometry, loading conditions and material mismatch on the stress singularity coefficients is evaluated and discussed for the case of remote uniform load.  相似文献

By using the hypothesis of the deformation of the straight bar and beamin mechanics of materials,a new engineering calculating model for a linear inclusion inplane is presented.Through the Kelvin's solution of a concentrated force,the inclusionproblem is reduced to solving a set of uncoupled singular integral equations which canbe solved by the numerical method of singular integral equation.Based on theseresults,several applicable examples including an inclusion-crack problem are calculatedand the results are quite satisfactory.  相似文献

The interaction of a general plane P wave and an elastic cylindrical inclusion of infinite length partially debonded from its surrounding viscoelastic matrix of infinite extension is investigated. The debonded region is modeled as an arc-shaped interface crack between inclusion and matrix with non-contacting faces. With wave functions expansion and singular integral equation technique, the interaction problem is reduced to a set of simultaneous singular integral equations of crack dislocation density function. By analysis of the fundamental solution of the singular integral equation, it is found that dynamic stress field at the crack tip is oscillatory singular, which is related to the frequency of incident wave. The singular integral equations are solved numerically, and the crack open displacement and dynamic stress intensity factor are evaluated for various incident angles and frequencies. Using the slender inclusion model developed earlier the elastostatic interaction problem between a penny-shaped crack and elastic fibers in an elastic matrix is formulated. For a single set and for multiple sets of fibers oriented perpendicularly to the plane of the crack and distributed symmetrically on concentric circles the problem is reduced to a system of singular integral equations. Techniques for the regularization and for the numerical solution of the system are outlined. For various fiber geometries numerical examples are given and distribution of the stress intensity factor along the crack border is obtained. Sample results showing the distribution of the fiber stress and a measure of the fiber-matrix interface shear are also included.  相似文献

A solution is presented for the three dimensional static thermoelastic problem of an absolutely rigid inclusion (anticrack) in the case when a uniform heat flow is directed along the inclusion plane. By using the potential method and the Fourier transform technique, the problem is reduced to a system of coupled two-dimensional singular integral equations for the shear stress jumps across the inclusion. As an illustration, a typical application to the circular anticrack is presented. Explicit expressions for the thermal stresses in the inclusion plane are obtained and discussed from the point of view of material failure.  相似文献

We solve the problem on the interaction of plane harmonic waves with a thin elastic plate-shaped inclusion. The ambient medium is assumed to be in plane strain. The smooth contact conditions are satisfied on both sides of the inclusion. The bending displacements of the inclusion are determined from the corresponding differential equation. In the statement of boundary conditions for this equation, one should take into account the transverse forces and bending moments applied to the lateral edges of the inclusion, while the boundary conditions are posed on the midplane of the inclusion. Using the discontinuous solution method, we reduce the problem to a system of two singular integral equations, which are solved numerically by the mechanical quadrature method. We obtain approximate formulas for the stress intensity coefficients near the ends of the inclusion and for the transverse forces and moments applied to the inclusion.  相似文献

The weakly singular integral equation used to solve the problem of the curved crack crossing the boundary of the antiplane circular inclusion is presented. Using the principal part analysis method of the Cauchy type integral equation, the singular stress index at the intersection and the singular stress of angular regions near the intersection are obtained. By using the singular stress obtained, the stress intensity factor at the intersection is, defined. After the numerical solution of the integral equation, the stress intensity factors at the end points of the crack and intersection are obtainable. In this paper, the interactions between an elliptic hole and an arbitrary distributed small crack in plane piezoelectric medium, which are often happened in engineering problems, are discussed. The Green’s functions in a piezoelectric plate with an elliptic hole for a generalized line dislocation and a generalized line force are presented. The small crack is represented by unknown continuous distributed dislocations. By considering traction free conditions on the surface of the small crack, the problem is then reduced to a group of singular integral equations which are solved by using a special numerical technique. Accuracy of the present method is confirmed by comparing the numerical results with those in literatures for PZT-4 when the elliptic hole is degenerated into a crack. The generalized stress intensity factors of cracks and the generalized stress on the edge of the elliptic hole are shown graphically. It is shown that the small crack may have shielding or amplifying effects on the main elliptic hole or crack, which depends on the location and orientation of the small crack. The hole near a crack can significantly reduce the stress intensity factor of the crack. The direction of the electric field is important to shielding effect.  相似文献

The thermoelastic displacement boundary value problem for a rigid inclusion interacting with a line crack in an infinite plane subjected to a uniform heat flux is studied, in which the rigid body rotation of the inclusion is considered. To solve the prescribed problem, we use the principle of superposition to decompose it into two groups of problems, which are further reduced to several basic subproblems including Green’s functions of edge dislocation and heat source couple, as well as the problem of a plane containing the inclusion under uniform heat flux and the problem of the inclusion subjected to a small rotation. The problems are solved using the complex variable method along with the rational mapping function technique. The variations of the stress intensity factors at the crack tips and the rigid body rotation angles with various crack lengths and heat flux angles are shown. The effects of the inclusion shape and size are also investigated.  相似文献

利用线弹簧模型求解了阶跃载荷作用下含内埋裂纹的无限长板条问题,对采用基于线弹簧模型的解析方法求解三维裂纹动态问题作了有益的探索。定性解释了动态线弹簧采用静态线弹簧本构关系的可行性,通过积分变换方法,导出了描述内埋裂纹板条动态问题的Cauchy型奇异积分方程。进行了数值计算,对模型应用的合理性作了理论解释,并对内埋裂纹板条瞬态响应的影响因素作了细致的分析。  相似文献
