利用偏微分方程在Hamilton体系中的表示和二类变量变分原理,结合有限元法,提出一类基于Hamilton体系的半解析法。本文以二阶非齐次椭圆型方程为例,给出了这类半解析法中的一种的有限元列式和算例,与解析解、Ritz法、有限条法和有限元法的结果比较表明,此法具有较高的精度,还可求解其它其些偏微分方程,有一定的普遍意义。  相似文献

A parallel stabilized finite‐element/spectral formulation is presented for incompressible large‐eddy simulation with complex 2‐D geometries. A unique discretization scheme is developed consisting of a streamline‐upwind Petrov–Galerkin/Pressure‐Stabilized Petrov–Galerkin (SUPG/PSPG) finite‐element discretization in the 2‐D plane with a collocated spectral/pseudospectral discretization in the out‐of‐plane direction. This formulation provides an efficient approach for solving 3‐D flows over arbitrary 2‐D geometries. Utilizing this discretization and through explicit temporal treatment of the non‐linear terms, the system of equations for each Fourier mode is decoupled within each time step. A novel parallelization approach is then taken, where the computational work is partitioned in Fourier space. A validation of the algorithm is presented via comparison of results for flow past a circular cylinder with published values for Re=195, 300, and 3900. In this paper we investigate the relationship between stabilized and enriched finite element formulations for the Stokes problem. We also present a new stabilized mixed formulation for which the stability parameter is derived purely by the method of weighted residuals. This new formulation allows equal‐order interpolation for the velocity and pressure fields. Finally, we show by counterexample that a direct equivalence between subgrid‐based stabilized finite element methods and Galerkin methods enriched by bubble functions cannot be constructed for quadrilateral and hexahedral elements using standard bubble functions. The objective of this contribution is to develop an elastic-plastic-damage constitutive model for crystal grain and to incorporate it with two-scale finite element analyses based on mathematical homogenization method, in order to characterize the macroscopic tensile strength of polycrystalline metals. More specifically, the constitutive model for single crystal is obtained by combining hyperelasticity, a rate-independent single crystal plasticity and a continuum damage model. The evolution equations, stress update algorithm and consistent tangent are derived within the framework of standard elastoplasticity at finite strain. By employing two-scale finite element analysis, the ductile behaviour of polycrystalline metals and corresponding tensile strength are evaluated. The importance of finite element formulation is examined by comparing performance of several finite elements and their convergence behaviour is assessed with mesh refinement. Finally, the grain size effect on yield and tensile strength is analysed in order to illustrate the versatility of the proposed two-scale model.  相似文献

In this paper, the transient analysis of a single pile and a 3 × 3 pile group is presented for Gibson type non-homogeneous soil by using a hybrid type of boundary and finite element formulation for the soil domain and pile domain, respectively. The formula is presented for a transient point force acting in the interior of a non-homogeneous, isotropic half space. A time stepping boundary element algorithm for soil domain is used together with an implicit time integration scheme for finite pile domain. To investigate the validity of this formulation, a single pile and a pile group are analyzed under Heaviside loading and triangular transient loading. In the analyses, it can be concluded that the results agree well for all cases of the inhomogeneity index by comparing the Laplace domain solutions.  相似文献

采取16节点曲线边等参元对圆柱壳的几何非线性进行有限元分析. 分析考 虑了完全非线性运动关系以便预测在非线性区域的稳定平衡路径. 建立了基于广义非线性位 移的有限元公式. 提出了基于全Lagrangian格式的非线性有限元分析的并行计算策略. 在集 群环境下, 对圆柱壳的几何非线性分析进行了并行计算. 计算结果表明: 在集群环境下, 所提并行算法具有良好的加速比和效率.  相似文献

The Dorodnitsyn boundary later formulation is given a finite element interpretation and found to generate very accurate and economical solutions when combined with an implicit, non-iterative marching scheme in the downstream direction. The algorithm is of order (Δ2u, Δx) whether linear or quadratic elements are used across the boundary layer. Solutions are compared with a Dorodnitsyn spectral formulation and a conventional finite difference formulation for three Falkner-Skan pressure gradient cases and the flow over a circular cylinder. With quadratic elements the Dorodnitsyn finite element formulation is approximately five times more efficient than the conventional finite difference formulation.  相似文献

A nodeless variable element method with the fluxbased formulation is developed to analyze two-dimensional thermal-structural problems. The nodeless variable formula- tion provides accurate temperature distributions to yield more accurate thermal stress solutions. The flux-based formulation is used to reduce the complexity in deriving the finite element equations as compared to the conventional finite element method. The solution accuracy is further improved by implementing an adaptive meshing technique to generate finite element meshes that can adapt and move along with the transient solution behavior. A version of a nearly optimal element size determination is proposed to provide high convergence rate of the predicted solutions. The combined procedure is evaluated by solving several thermal, structural, and thermal stress problems.  相似文献

拟协调元是有限元中十分重要的、具有特色的一种列式体系. 拟协调元列式简单、灵活, 统一了协 调元、非协调元等列式方法. 在列式中, 拟协调元将几何方程和平衡方程同时弱化, 并强调基函数在有限元空 间中的重要作用; 借助对位移和应变离散精度的控制, 拟协调元保障了单元的收敛性, 并可以利用泰勒展开校 核进行简便直接的收敛性分析. 研究者们利用拟协调元已经构造了大量的优秀的单元, 并广泛地应用到结构问 题、流体流动问题、非线性分析、稳定性和破坏分析等方面. 这些工作集中体现了拟协调元的理论价值和工程 应用价值. 对拟协调列式方法、列式理论和已发表文献中的主要拟协调单元进行了总结. 最后对拟协调的研究 工作进行了展望.   相似文献

The objective of the present paper is to develop a finite element formulation for modeling nearly incompressible materials at large strains using polygonal elements. The present finite element formulation is a simplified version of the three-field mixed formulation and, in particular, it reduces the functional of the internal potential energy by expressing the field of the average volume-change in terms of the displacement field, where the latter is discretized using the Wachspress shape functions. The reduced mixed formulation eliminates the volumetric locking in nearly incompressible materials and enhances the computational efficiency as the static condensation is circumvented. A detailed implementation of the finite element formulation is presented in this study. Also, different example problems, including eigenvalue analysis, nonlinear patch test and other benchmark problems are presented for demonstrating the accuracy and the reliability of the developed formulation for polygonal elements.

本文对近几年来柔性多体系统建模理论的研究进展进行了评述, 详细阐述了曲梁结构多体系统动力学研究的理论背景和工程意义. 结合连续介质力学和多体系统动力学理论, 介绍了平面曲梁、空间曲梁应变位移场的描述以及几何非线性问题研究现状. 通过国内外文献及已有的研究, 综述了现有曲梁的离散化方法, 以及这些方法对于定曲率、变曲率曲梁的适用性. 然后, 总结了曲梁刚柔耦合动力学建模和数值计算中的难点问题, 介绍了平面曲梁、空间曲梁实验研究的现状. 最后, 综合全文, 提出了目前研究存在的难点问题, 以及计划解决这些难点问题的方法.   相似文献

A non-linear finite element static analysis for flexible risers with large displacements is presented using a four-node pipe elbow element with 24 degrees of freedom. A pipe–soil interaction model is used to identify seabed boundary condition. The effects of buoyancy force as well as steady-state current loading are considered in the finite element solution for riser structures response. In fact considering buoyancy force among with current loading and seabed interaction boundary condition in this paper leads to a particular formulation. The resulting formulation has been implemented in a finite element code which is subsequently used to model and analyze some typical riser configurations. The results of some sample solutions are given to illustrate the accuracy and capability of the formulation.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the formulation of the governing equations that describe flow of fluids in porous media. Various types of fluid flow, ranging from single-phase flow to compositional flow, are considered. It is shown that all the differential equations governing these types of flow can be effectively rewritten in a fractional flow formulation; i.e., in terms of a global pressure and saturation (or saturations), and that mixed finite element methods can be accurately exploited to solve the pressure equation. Numerical results are presented to see the performance of the mixed methods for the flow equations in three space dimensions.  相似文献

An Eulerian finite element formulation is presented for problems of large elastic-plastic flow. The method is based on Hill's variational principle for incremental deformations, and is ideally suited to isotropically hardening Prandtl-Reuss materials. Further, the formulation is given in a manner which allows any conventional finite element program, for “small strain” elastic-plastic analysis, to be simply and rigorously adapted to problems involving arbitrary amounts of deformation and arbitrary levels of stress in comparison to plastic deformation moduli. The method is applied to a necking bifurcation analysis of a bar in plane-strain tension.The paper closes with a unified general formulation of finite element equations, both Lagrangian and Eulerian, for large deformations, with arbitrary choice of the conjugate stress and strain measures. Further, a discussion is given of other proposed formulations for elastic-plastic finite element analysis at large strain, and the inadequacies of some of these are commented upon.  相似文献

A new stabilized finite element method for the Stokes problem is presented. The method is obtained by modification of the mixed variational equation by using local L2 polynomial pressure projections. Our stabilization approach is motivated by the inherent inconsistency of equal‐order approximations for the Stokes equations, which leads to an unstable mixed finite element method. Application of pressure projections in conjunction with minimization of the pressure–velocity mismatch eliminates this inconsistency and leads to a stable variational formulation. Unlike other stabilization methods, the present approach does not require specification of a stabilization parameter or calculation of higher‐order derivatives, and always leads to a symmetric linear system. The new method can be implemented at the element level and for affine families of finite elements on simplicial grids it reduces to a simple modification of the weak continuity equation. A non‐conforming, discontinuous Galerkin finite element–boundary element coupling procedure is presented for the exterior planar Stokes problem. The novel coupled formulation is developed using that for the conforming case as a guide to the introduction of extra mortar variables used to couple a discontinuous interior finite element solution with a continuous exterior boundary element solution. Convergence results for the new scheme are presented, for a range of different interior penalties, on computational domains discretized with regular structured meshes. To illustrate an application, the excitations required to model two‐phase droplet deformations in an extensional flow, under simple surface tension, with the new scheme are also presented. For a selection of different drop viscocities and exterior flows, with and without a rotational component, the progression to a steady‐state deformation of initially undeformed circular drops is calculated and the results compared with those from both a conforming FEM‐BEM equivalent scheme and from a small perturbation analysis where available. 偶应力理论的有限元列式面临本质性的C1连续性困难. 平面偶应力理论和Reissner/Mindlin板弯曲理论之间的比拟关系表明这两个理论系统的有 限元的同一性,而R/M板有限元并不存在C1连续性困难. 因此,研究将R/M板单元转化为具有一般位移自由度的平面偶应力单元的一般方法. 根据这一方法,将典型的8节点Serendipity型R/M板单元Q8S转化为一个4节点12 自由度的四边形平面偶应力单元,数值结果表明该单元具有良好的精度和收敛性  相似文献
