The paper analyses theoretically the surface vibration induced by a point load moving uniformly along a infinitely long beam embedded in a two-dimensional viscoelastic layer. The beam is placed parallel to the traction-free surface and the layer under the beam is assumed to be a half space. The response due to a harmonically varying load is investigated for different load frequencies. The influence of the layer damping and moving load speed on the level of vibrations at the surface is analysed and analytical closed form solutions in the integral form for the displacement amplitude and the amplitude spectra are derived. Approximate displacement values depending on Young’s modulus and mass density of layers are obtained. The mathematical model is described by the Euler–Bernoulli beam equation, Navier’s elastodynamic equation of motion for the elastic medium and appropriate boundary and continuity conditions. A special approximation method based on the wavelet theory is used for calculation of the displacements at the surface.  相似文献

We consider the problem of the nonlinear response of a Rayleigh beam to the passage of a train of forces moving with stochastic velocity. The Fourier transform and the theory of residues are used to estimate the mean square amplitude of the beam, while the stochastic averaging method gives the stationary probability density function of the oscillations amplitude. The analysis shows that the effect of the load random velocities is highly nonlinear, leading to a nonmonotonic behavior of the mean amplitude versus the intensity of the stochastic term and of the load weight. The analytic approach is also checked with numerical simulations. The effect of loads number on the system response is numerically investigated.  相似文献

The paper concerns the stochastic analysis of the static response of materially and geometrically non-linear models of imperfect shell structures. Geometric imperfections of shells are described using random variables or random fields. The Monte Carlo method combined with a finite element program analysis is employed. The proposed approach is used to analyse the non-linear post-buckling behaviour of a shallow cylindrical shell. The numerically obtained critical load histograms allow to estimate the structure reliability. The accuracy of simulation-based approach is discussed.  相似文献

针对移动随机载荷作用下桥梁结构非平稳随机振动问题,建立了一种基于频域分析的虚拟激励-傅里叶变换方法(PEM-FFT)。与通常的非平稳随机振动的时频分析方法不同,提出的方法完全在频域上执行。其主要特色是能够给出随机输入与随机输出的频域关系,表明移动载荷作用下结构非平稳随机振动分析仅需对载荷的确定性移动函数项进行计算。数值算例考虑了等截面/变截面简支梁受移动随机载荷作用的问题,首先与通常的时频分析方法进行对比,验证了PEM-FFT方法的正确性和有效性,进一步讨论了不同结构形式以及不同载荷移动速度对响应演变统计量的影响。  相似文献

针对梁式结构受移动荷载作用的非平稳随机振动问题,提出了一种综合利用微分求积法和虚拟激励法DQ-PEM的新方法。梁式结构受移动荷载作用的振动控制方程为含Dirac函数的偏微分方程,利用微分求积(DQ)-积分求积法(IQ)法将其振动控制方程转化为不含Dirac函数的常微分方程。同时,将表示荷载位置变化的Dirac函数视为移动荷载的非平稳化函数,再结合虚拟激励法的思想,可得梁式结构在确定性荷载作用下的虚拟响应,进而得到其非平稳随机响应。通过工程算例验证了该方法的准确性与有效性,并进一步讨论了不同速度和不同边界条件下梁式结构受移动荷载作用的随机振动问题。  相似文献

Energy flow analysis (EFA) method is a vibration simulation tool developed for structures under single-frequency excitation. The work described in this paper aims to extend the application of EFA to situations where structures are subject to random broadband excitations. The proposed energy formulation for beam structures under random excitations, which is based on conventional EFA, is referred to as random EFA. Due to the new capability of random EFA, a comprehensive relationship between random EFA and the widely used statistical energy analysis (SEA) method in modeling energy response as well as power flow is established. Both random EFA and SEA are utilized to model the vibration behavior of a complex planar frame structure on which random broadband forces are applied. Good correlation between energy as well as power flow solutions is demonstrated between the two methods for beam members in close proximity to the external excitations, which validates the random EFA development.  相似文献

Nonuniform Timoshenko beams subjected to a given stationary random excitation are considered. The general equations relating the spectral density function of the response to the cross spectral density of the load are derived. The optimal shape of the beam is defined as the shape which, for given constant volume of the beam, minimizes the maximum root-mean-square value of the bending stresses in the beam. The shape of the beam is described by a limited number of orthogonal design functions, and their optimal combination is found by sequential linear programming with move limits. From numerical results it is seen that slight modifications of the beam shape give a considerable reduction of maximum r.m.s. stress for most loading cases.  相似文献

In this work a general analytical model is developed for the static response of a beam resting on a tensionless elastic foundation subjected to a lateral point load. This load may either be located at the center of the beam or may be offset. An analytical/numerical solution is obtained to the governing equations; this solution makes no assumption about either the contact area or the kinematics associated with the transverse deflection of the beam. This is in contrast to previous work in which, for an infinite beam (where the load is symmetric by definition), implicit assumptions about the contact area and the response kinematics were made. Because these assumptions are dropped, the contact behavior differs in several fundamental ways from its infinite counterpart. Specifically, it is shown that (i) the contact area is a sensitive function of the beam length and that this function may change nonmonotonically, (ii) the contact area may depend on the magnitude of the load, (iii) asymmetric loads, which cannot exist in the infinite problem, have a dramatic influence the contact area for the finite system. These features are demonstrated with specific examples and explained in terms of the fundamental physics of the system. The implications for these behaviors are also discussed.  相似文献

This paper describes a method to analyze the elasto-plastic large deflection of a curved beam subjected to a tip concentrated follower load. The load is made to act at an arbitrary inclination with the tip tangent. A moment-curvature based constitutive law is obtained from linearly hardening model. The deflection governing equation obtained is highly non-linear owing to both kinematics and material non-linearity. It is linearized to obtain the incremental differential equation. This in turn is solved using the classical Runge–Kutta 4th order explicit solver, thereby avoiding iterations. Elastic results are validated with published literature and the new results pertaining to elasto-plastic cases are presented in suitable non-dimensional form. The load to end angle response of the structure is studied by varying normalized material and kinematic parameters. It is found that the response curves overlap at small deflection corresponding to elastic deformation and diverge for difference in plastic property. The divergent response curves intersect with each other at higher deflection. The results presented also show that the approach may be used to obtain desired non-uniformly curved beam by suitably loading a uniform curvature beam.  相似文献

Nonlinear dynamics of an inclined beam subjected to a moving load   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic response of an inclined pinned-pinned beam with a constant cross section, finite length subjected to a concentrated vertical force traveling with a constant velocity is investigated. The study is focused on the mode summation method and also on frequency analysis of the governing PDEs equations of motion. Furthermore, the steady-state response is studied by applying the multiple scales method. The nonlinear response of the beam is obtained by solving two coupled nonlinear PDEs governing equations of planar motion for both longitudinal and transverse oscillations of the beam. The dynamic magnification factor and normalized time histories of mid-pint of the beam are obtained for various load velocity ratios and the outcome results have been illustrated and compared to the results with those obtained from traditional linear solution. The appropriate parametric study considering the effects of the linear viscous damping, the velocity of the traveling load, beam inclination angle under zero or nonzero axial load are carried out to capture the influence of the effect of large deflections caused by stretching effects due to the beam’s immovable ends. It was seen that quadratic nonlinearity renders the softening effect on the dynamic response of the beam under the act of traveling load. Also in the case where the object leaves the inclined beam, its planar motion path is derived and the targeting accuracy is investigated and compared with those from the rigid solution assumption. Moreover, the stability analysis of steady-state response for the modes equations having quadratic nonlinearity was carried out and it was observed from the frequency response curves that for the considered parameters in the case of internal-external primary resonance, both saturation phenomenon and jump phenomenon can be predicted for the longitudinal excitation.  相似文献

The concept of almost sure sample stability and sample stability in probability are formulated for elastic systems. Using a Koiter type approach these concepts are used in the analysis of imperfection sensitive structures. The applied load and the initial geometric imperfections are introduced into the analysis as random quantities. 本文提供了一种简单的确定性数值方法,来分析在平稳随机地震荷载作用下的结构随机地震响应及动力可靠度。该方法基于有限元动力分析软件,以单位加速度脉冲函数作为地震荷载的输入,当计算出结构的脉冲响应函数后,再运用傅立叶变换得到随机激励和结构响应之间的传递函数,由此来计算结构的均方根响应和峰值响应。基于此方法,分析了挡土结构物在平稳随机地震荷载作用下的位移、弯矩、基底水平合力、基底竖向合力以及沿墙高的土压力极值的随机地震响应及动力可靠度。从分析结果可以看出:用Kanai谱模型的计算值比欧进萍谱模型的计算值更趋保守,而把响应过程当作马尔可夫过程似比泊松过程更精确。  相似文献

This paper describes a novel nondestructive damage detection method that was developed to study the influence of a crack on the dynamic properties of a cantilever beam subjected to bending. Experimental measurements of transfer functions for the cracked cantilever beam revealed a change in the natural frequency with increasing crack length. A finite element model of a cracked element was created to compute the influence of severity and location of damage on the structural stiffness. The proposed model is based on the response of the cracked beam element under a static load. The change in beam deflection as a result of the crack is used to calculate the reduction in the global component stiffness. The reduction of the beam stiffness is then used to determine its dynamic response employing a modal analysis computational model. Euler–Bernoulli and Timoshenko beam theories are used to quantify the elastic stiffness matrix of a finite element. The transfer functions from both theories compare well with the experimental results. The experimental and computational natural frequencies decreased with increasing crack length. Furthermore the Euler–Bernoulli and Timoshenko beam theories resulted in approximately the same decrease in the natural frequency with increasing crack length as experimentally measured.  相似文献

非线性系统的随机振动分析一直是结构动力学领域中的难点,已有一些研究表明基于矩等效的线性化方法在功率谱预测上会得到不恰当的分析结果;另一方面,由于不确定性在实际工程中普遍存在,如果同时考虑非线性和不确定性,更是显著增加了问题难度。本文以具有非线性非理想边界梁为研究对象,基于梁模型的动力学微分方程推导了对应的广义频响函数,并应用Volterra级数理论建立了非线性系统随机振动的谱分析方法,最后,结合蒙特卡洛抽样方法计算了具有参数不确定性非线性梁响应功率谱的均值和方差,讨论了不确定性对结构随机振动响应统计特征的影响。  相似文献

从力学上提出了随机失稳结构串联扩展的均匀性问题,建立了描述该问题的数学模型,提出了均匀性指标概念和该指标的概率计算公式和方法. 针对两个扩展单元构成的串联结构,详细考察了筋厚度发生随机时对于扩展均匀性指标的影响,得到均匀性指标概率与筋厚度随机范围、载荷和强化系数等的变化关系. 研究发现当总扩展位移一定的情况下,强化系数的改变对于均匀性有重大影响.关键字:血管支架 均匀性 随机 失稳 串联   相似文献

This paper deals with the stochastic response of structures loaded by non-Gaussian random fields. A finite element model is used to describe a cantilever beam assuming both linear and non-linear behavior. The cross-correlated stochastic field is generated by a numerical procedure based on the translation processes theory. The marginal distribution of the load is assumed to be lognormal and the correlation structure is based on the second-order Markov process. The statistical analysis of the results highlights the effects of the involved non-linearity and non-Gaussianity properties on the structures response.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the dynamic response of a fixed–fixed beam with an internal hinge on elastic foundation, which is subjected to a moving oscillator with uncertain parameters such as random mass, stiffness, damping, velocity and acceleration. This model can be used to simulate the interaction among the train (vehicle), track and foundation, as well as simulate the bridge–vehicle interaction without considering the elastic foundation. In particular, the distributed parameter system is assumed to be a beam of Bernoulli–Euler type, and the system dynamic response is a random process despite its deterministic characteristics. By utilizing the modal analysis and Galerkin’s method, we can obtain a set of approximate governing equations of motion with time-dependent random coefficients and forcing functions. The improved perturbation technique is adopted to evaluate the statistical characteristics of the deflection of the beam, and the Monte Carlo simulation is used to check the results from the improved perturbation technique. The statistical response of the structure from the proposed approach plays an important role in estimating the structural safety and reliability.  相似文献
