Periodic slit screens are often installed in rectangular apertures either to mask the opening or to reduce transmitted noise. This investigation considers the higher-order scattered and transmitted sound from a point source through a periodic screen mounted in a rigid baffle. In particular, this paper considers the spatial characteristics, or directivity, of the scattered field for a particular higher order mode. Uncoupled higher-order mode analysis is used to estimate the scattered and transmitted sound fields for the selected mode of the aperture without the presence of the screen. Transmission coefficients for the screens are then calculated using the well established equivalent mass layer effect and applied to the calculated higher-order mode scattered and transmitted sound pressures. Using an anechoic chamber, measurements were made over a small arc of the scattered sound field through a range of screens of different aspect ratios but the same porosity. The screens consisted of equally spaced open slits and solid laths and the number of slits was reduced to change the aspect ratio. In each case the point source was positioned on the impinging side of the aperture so as to drive one particular scattered higher-order aperture mode at or near cut-on. Comparison of the measured and predicted sound pressures indicate that good estimates of the sound field can be obtained through the approach of applying simple corrections for the presence of the screens to the estimates for the open aperture established using uncoupled calculations for the higher-order modes. It is also shown that the results for a specific mode excited at one particular frequency are applicable at other excitation frequencies provided that the correct non-dimensionalisation is applied.  相似文献

研究了开孔对封闭空间声场的影响。通过将孔内振动空气等效为点源,用模态展开法建立了开孔封闭空间的声场模型,计算了开孔封闭空间高阶共振频率和在共振频率激励下的声压分布。结果显示:开孔等效于孔处声质量减小,一般使得开孔封闭空间的共振频率增加;但当孔位于某模态节点时,由于该阶模态与任一模态在开孔处未发生耦合,该模态共振频率不变;由于在开孔区域对应于激励频率的模态声压和其余各阶模态声压之和的相位相反,高阶共振频率激励下靠近小孔位置的声压减小。因此,开孔对封闭空间声场有影响,其影响程度与开孔位置和开孔尺寸有关。   相似文献

This paper investigates both theoretically and experimentally the sound radiation from an aperture placed in an enclosure wall for the particular case of low modal sound field. The incidence field is composed of the enclosed sound field, which is calculated using the theoretical modal model presented. The transmitted sound is calculated by the Rayleigh radiation equation after continuity conditions have been applied in the aperture plane, assuming the condition of a thin wall. The model is experimentally validated by measuring the directivity and sound pressure radiated from an aperture in the side of a rectangular box. Because the walls of the enclosure are not rigid, an experimental procedure to determine its admittance is also presented. The experiments have been carried out for the first four modes of the enclosed sound field, and good agreement is found between the theoretical and experimental results. These results indicate that the admittance of the aperture, its radiation efficiency, and its directivity are all functions of the predominant mode shape, and the frequency, as well as the location and shape, of the aperture relative to the predominant enclosed mode shape.  相似文献

针对浅海动态声场,基于简正波模型提出了一种利用运动小孔径水平基阵估计目标深度的方法。通过合成孔径算法将运动小孔径水平基阵扩展成虚拟的大孔径水平基阵,利用稀疏近似最小方差准则可以在相对较小的合成孔径上估计各阶简正波模态能量,不同深度的模态匹配度由Camberra距离的负指数度量,目标深度估计结果是模态匹配度最大值对应深度。数值仿真与实验结果表明,在简正波声场结构基础上,声源频率越低则实现目标深度估计需要的合成孔径距离越小,当声源与阵列端射方向成一定角度时,对所需合成孔径的影响与其相对速度变化时的影响相同,在典型浅海水平分层波导中,当单阵元输入信噪比为10 dB时,准确估计200 Hz和350 Hz声源的深度,分别要求合成孔径大于12倍和16倍波导深度。利用实验数据验证了该方法对水下低频线谱声源的深度估计能力。   相似文献

本文提出了一种用于计算开孔矩形腔体电磁泄漏场的解析理论模型.该理论模型先基于模式展开法求解封闭腔场,进而依据Bethe小孔耦合理论将泄漏场与封闭腔场用等效偶极子关联.该模型可以考虑波频率、场源位置、开孔位置及场强观测点位置等因素的影响,计算结果与全波仿真结果一致.本文计算分析了相关因素对电磁屏蔽效能的影响规律,并给出了物理解释.结果表明近场屏蔽效能小于远场屏蔽效能,且近场区电场屏蔽效能与磁场屏蔽效能并不相同.  相似文献

Previous investigations have used Hankel transforms to establish the velocity potentials of the wave fields resulting from arbitrary angle plane wave impingement on a circular orifice in a rigid, thick wall. The scattered field from the orifice is examined, in particular the modal contributions to the amplitude of its velocity potential. For each m,n mode the amplitude is dependent upon the amplitude of the in-orifice waves and a driving term unique to each m,n mode. In establishing the amplitudes of the in-orifice waves, the effects of modal coupling are also considered. In this work these two components of the scattered wave amplitude are investigated on a modal basis and approximations given for coupling effects. These approximations are then used to calculate the scattered field and the results compared with conventional solutions that use full modal coupling.  相似文献

Most established techniques for analyzing sound transmission in ducts containing orifices plates are only applicable for plane wave propagation. Once the wavelength of the sound approaches the cross section of the duct, higher order mode propagation in the system must be considered in the analysis. This is a numerically intensive activity if fully coupled calculations of the higher order modes are undertaken. This investigation estimates the acoustic fields in a duct with a simple orifice plate installed using an uncoupled model to estimate the higher order mode contribution. The uncoupled model is then used as the basis for a hybrid decomposition approach to estimate the sound field in the regions before and after the orifice plate installed in a circular duct. This approach is applied to a duct, excited by a point source over a wide frequency range, containing a single orifice plate installed a distance inside the duct. Different orifice plates with one, two and multiple openings are investigated. Of particular interest is the location of the point source relative to the duct axis. If the source is located concentric to the duct axis then, without any orifice plate present, only axially symmetric higher order modes may be excited in the duct. Thus, the investigation considers the point source located in the concentric position and in eccentric positions to vary the contribution from the different types of higher order mode. Estimates of the acoustic fields in the duct obtained using the hybrid decomposition approach are compared with measured data and the applicability of using an uncoupled estimate for the acoustic fields is commented on.  相似文献

This study deals with the feedforward active control of sound transmission through a simply supported rectangular panel using vibration actuators. The control effect largely depends on the excitation method, including the number and locations of actuators. In order to obtain a large control effect at low frequencies over a wide frequency, an active transmission control method based on single structural mode actuation is proposed. Then, with the goal of examining the feasibility of the proposed method, the (1, 3) mode is selected as the target mode and a modal actuation method in combination with six point force actuators is considered. Assuming that a single input single output feedforward control is used, sound transmission in the case minimizing the transmitted sound power is calculated for some actuation methods. Simulation results showed that the (1, 3) modal actuation is globally effective at reducing the sound transmission by more than 10?dB in the low-frequency range for both normal and oblique incidences. Finally, experimental results also showed that a large reduction could be achieved in the low-frequency range, which proves the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

针对浅海信道下弹性结构声辐射预报尚无高效可靠的研究方法,提出了一种浅海信道下弹性结构声辐射快速预报的联合波叠加法.该方法结合了浅海信道传输函数、多物理场耦合数值计算法和波叠加法理论,运用该方法可对浅海信道下弹性结构辐射声场进行快速预报.经数值法和解析解法验证后,从信道下辐射源、环境影响和辐射声场测量的角度研究分析了浅海信道下弹性圆柱壳的声辐射特性,阐释了进行浅海信道下结构声辐射研究的必要性.研究结果表明,仅在低频浅海信道下弹性结构可近似等效为点源,信道上下边界对声场产生显著的耦合影响,高频段的空间声场指向性分布尤为明显,垂直线列阵进行信道下结构辐射声功率测量时,测量结果受到信道环境边界和潜深的影响较大.  相似文献

A method for theoretically calculating the coherence between sound pressure inside a rectangular room in a high-rise building and that outside the open window of the room is proposed. The traffic noise transmitted into a room is generally dominated by low-frequency components, to which active noise control (ANC) technology may find an application. However, good coherence between reference and error signals is essential for an effective noise reduction and should be checked first. Based on traffic noise prediction methods, wave theory, and mode coupling theory, the results of this paper enabled one to determine the potentials and limitations of ANC used to reduce such a transmission. Experimental coherence results are shown for two similar, empty rectangular rooms located on the 17th and 30th floors of a 34 floor high-rise building. The calculated results with the proposed method are generally in good agreement with the experimental results and demonstrate the usefulness of the method for predicting the coherence.  相似文献

Knowledge of the modal content of the sound field radiated from a turbofan inlet is important for source characterization and for helping to determine noise generation mechanisms in the engine. An inverse technique for determining the mode amplitudes at the duct outlet is proposed using pressure measurements made in the near field. The radiated sound pressure from a duct is modeled by directivity patterns of cut-on modes in the near field using a model based on the Kirchhoff approximation for flanged ducts with no flow. The resulting system of equations is ill posed and it is shown that the presence of modes with eigenvalues close to a cutoff frequency results in a poorly conditioned directivity matrix. An analysis of the conditioning of this directivity matrix is carried out to assess the inversion robustness and accuracy. A physical interpretation of the singular value decomposition is given and allows us to understand the issues of ill conditioning as well as the detection performance of the radiated sound field by a given sensor array.  相似文献

A general analytical model is developed for the scattering of sound by a sphere with a nonuniform impedance boundary condition that is divided into two uniformly distributed hemispheres. In addition to the overall solution for the time harmonic pressure, the analytical result gives insight into the modal contributions and coupling for different cases of source incidence and boundary impedance. Modal cross coupling is shown to exist between incoming and scattered wave modes of equi-order and nonequal degree when the degrees are opposite in parity (odd-even or even-odd coupling). This cross coupling is strongest between modes of adjacent degree, and decreases as the degrees become dissimilar. The overall magnitude of the cross coupling is dependent on the extent of the impedance mismatch between the two surface hemispheres. Simulation and discussion are given for several specific cases of source incidence and impedance (each hemisphere is given a different constant impedance value). These results are consistent with expectations from the scattering of sound by a sphere with a uniformly distributed surface boundary. The broad scattering characteristics of the hemispherically divided sphere are shown to be analogous to connecting the appropriate sectors from the corresponding uniformly distributed spheres.  相似文献

A hybrid modal expansion that combines the free field Green's function and a modal expansion will be presented in this paper based on a review and an extension of the existing modal analysis theories for the sound field in enclosures. The enclosed sound field will be separated into the direct field and reverberant field, which have been treated together in the traditional modal analysis. Studies on a point source in rectangular enclosures show that the hybrid modal expansion converges notably faster than the traditional modal expansions, especially in the region near the source, and introduces much smaller errors with a limited number of modes. The hybrid modal expansion can be easily applied to complex sound sources if the free field responses of the sources are known. Damped boundaries are also considered in this paper, and a set of modified modal functions is introduced, which is shown to be suitable for many damped boundary conditions.  相似文献

针对常规统计最优近场声全息在空间多源声场重建过程中所需波函数项数多、重建精度不理想的问题,本文提出了一种基于振速测量的改进统计最优近场声全息算法。与常规算法不同,改进算法主要根据声源特点选取合适的波函数组合来计算声场传递矩阵。通过数值仿真初步验证了该方法的准确性和有效性,并与常规算法进行了详细的对比分析。仿真结果表明,改进算法重建精度高,随频率的变化相对误差波动较小,且随着频率的增大相对误差有逐渐减小的趋势;此外,不同的波函数组合,重建效果差异很大,当选取的波函数与声源共形且数量一致时重建效果最好。  相似文献

基于Bethe小孔耦合理论和腔内电磁场的本征模展开, 建立了平面波照射下开孔矩形腔体电磁场分布的近似解析模型. 该模型物理意义清晰, 可以考虑开孔的形状、 尺寸、 个数及位置和入射波的传播与极化方向等参数的影响. 该模型的计算结果优于传统的等效电路方法, 与实验结果的一致性更好. 计算分析了相关因素对电磁屏蔽效能的影响规律, 所得结果对电磁屏蔽腔体的设计有指导意义.  相似文献

The influence of water column variability on low-frequency, shallow water geoacoustic inversion results is considered. The data are estimates of modal eigenvalues obtained from measurements of a point source acoustic field using a horizontal aperture array in the water column. The inversion algorithm is based on perturbations to a background waveguide model with seabed properties consistent with the measured eigenvalues. Water column properties in the background model are assumed to be known, as would be obtained from conductivity, temperature, and depth measurements. The scope of this work in addressing the impact of water column variability on inversion is twofold. Range-dependent propagation effects as they pertain to eigenvalue estimation are first considered. It is shown that mode coupling is important even for weak internal waves and can enhance modal eigenvalue estimates. Second, the effect of the choice of background sound speed profile in the water column is considered for its impact on the estimated bottom acoustic properties. It is shown that a range-averaged sound velocity profile yields the best geoacoustic parameter estimates.  相似文献

设计了一种二维三组元声子晶体结构, 利用偶然简并的方法在布里渊区中心实现了半狄拉克点, 探究了随着组元几何参数的改变半狄拉克点的演变过程. 利用有限元方法研究发现在半狄拉克点频率附近沿着ΓX 方向声子晶体表现出与零折射率材料相似的行为, 许多奇异特性如单向透射等均可以观察到. 另外还发现在半狄拉克点频率附近声子晶体是各向异性的, 沿着不同方向声波的传播现象是不同的, 这种特性是狄拉克点及类狄拉克点所不具备的. 这种各向异性的声波传播特性有许多重要的应用, 如单方向完美透射和单方向波前整形等.  相似文献

In this article, the propagation of sound from a monopole source above an impedance-backed porous layer is examined. The sound fields can be expressed in an integral form that is amenable to further analysis. A standard method of steepest descents is applied to evaluate the integral where the method of pole subtraction is needed to obtain a uniform asymptotic solution for the sound field above the plane surface. To obtain a numerical solution, the location of the pole was determined numerically by means of the Newton-Raphson method. Based on the pole location, the sound fields can then be calculated numerically. It has been demonstrated that the use of a plane wave reflection coefficient to calculate the sound fields is a special case of the asymptotic formula when the pole is located further away from the saddle point.  相似文献

针对水平阵信号简正波分离过程中常规波束形成分辨率低以及warping模态滤波不适用于复杂声信号的问题,提出水平阵信号压缩感知用于简正波分离的方法。利用压缩感知在方位估计中的高分辨特性,通过估计水平阵接收信号在频率方位角上的二维分布,分离得到各阶简正波的方位谱,并逆Fourier变换得到时域波形。仿真孔径1 km、阵元间隔10 m水平阵接收20~200 Hz伪随机声信号和脉冲声信号,所提方法分离出的各阶简正波与理论波形的相关系数在0.97~1.0。对2011年北黄海声学实验中的海底28元水平阵接收的气枪信号,在合成至1 km孔径后使用压缩感知方法分离简正波,其与warping模态滤波分离得的前5阶简正波相关系数在0.82~0.93。仿真与实验都说明了水平阵信号压缩感知简正波分离方法的有效性。   相似文献
