We report a blue laser at 473 nm generation by intracavity frequency doubling of a continuous wave (CW) laser operation of a 946 nm Nd:YAG laser under in-band diode pumping at 869 nm. An BiBO crystal, cut for critical type I phase matching at room temperature is used for second harmonic generation of the laser. At an incident pump power of 8.6 W, as high as 721 mW of CW output power at 473 nm is achieved. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is up to 8.4%, and the fluctuation of the blue output power was better than 3.5% in the given 30 min.  相似文献

We develop an injection-seeded single-frequency neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG) laser with 500 Hz repetition rate and high peak power. The laser construction is designed as seed injection and master oscillator power amplifier (MOPA) including single-frequency master oscillator, extra-cavity frequency doubling crystal, and round-trip power amplifier. The master oscillator can emit 1,064 nm laser of 8.4 mJ with 6.8 ns pulse width at the pump energy equal to 23 mJ. A green laser energy of 1.1 mJ is obtained by setting the proper temperature of the LBO crystal. The pulse energy of 1,064 nm laser decreases to 6.5 mJ after passing through the LBO crystal and rises to 25.3 mJ after a round-trip power amplifier corresponding to the extraction efficiency of 29%. The final output pulse width is 6.5 ns, representing a peak power of 3.9 MW. The 1,064 nm laser beam quality factor M2 of the master oscillator and the amplified one are 1.3 and 1.5, respectively. The laser will be used to generate mid-infrared where the 532 nm laser with narrow pulse width is to pump sheet optical parametric oscillator (OPO) and the 1,064 nm laser with high peak power to pump the OPO.  相似文献

报道了一种灯泵浦结构的Nd:YAG晶体电光调Q高峰值功率266nm紫外激光器。结合磷酸二氢钾(KDP)晶体性质,基于倍频理论,分析了考虑走离效应情况下存在相位失配量时KDP晶体长度对转换效率的影响。该激光器采用紧凑的平平腔结构,灯泵浦Nd:YAG晶体电光调Q 1064nm激光作为基频光,腔外采用Ⅱ类匹配磷酸钛氧钾(KTP)和Ⅰ类匹配KDP分别作为二倍频和四倍频晶体。利用能量计、示波器等仪器进行测量,激光器重复频率1Hz时,获得脉宽6.0ns,单脉冲能量35mJ的266nm紫外激光输出,峰值功率高达5.83 MW;当重复频率10Hz时,获得单脉冲能量28.9mJ的266nm紫外激光。532~266nm转换效率最高可达31.9%。利用该高峰值功率、窄脉宽266nm紫外激光器,能够实现激光打标、激光雕刻。  相似文献

研究了最大平均输出功率达206 W的高功率准连续绿光激光器.利用ABCD定律及高斯光束在腔内的自再现条件,分析了激光晶体热透镜效应及热致双折射效应对谐振腔稳定性和输出光束质量的影响.实验中将两个型号相同的LD侧面泵浦激光模块分别置于一个平-凹V型谐振腔和一个平-凹直腔内,形成两束稳定运转的1 064 nm基频光,经过声光Q开关和倍频晶体后,产生两束倍频光,均到达平面折叠镜,最终由平面折叠镜单向重叠输出.当激光模块的泵浦电流为50 A,声光调Q的重复频率为22.4 kHz时,最大平均输出功率为206 W,最大单脉冲能量为9.2 mJ,脉冲宽度为201 ns,峰值功率为45.8 kW的532 nm绿光输出,倍频效率达到60.2%.激光器2 h工作的功率不稳定度优于2.5%.  相似文献

A near-diffraction-limited green source is generated at 1 kHz repetition rate by frequency doubling of a diode stack end-pumped electro-optically Q-switched Nd:YAG slab laser. We obtain 9. 7mJ green light with pulse width of 12.2ns at a repetition rates of i kHz. The pump to green optical conversion efficiency is 12.9%. The energy pulse stability at 532nm is about 0.8%.  相似文献

An energy conversion efficiency of 65.3% for second harmonic generation (SHG) from 1.06 μm to 0.53 μ m has been achieved by intracavity frequency doubling (IFD) in LiB 3O 5(LBO) crystal and a colliding pulse mode locked (CPM) Nd:YAG pulsed laser with a convex antiresonant ring (ARR) unstable resonator. For a fundamental wave with 20.2 mJ energy, 10 ps duration and a energy stability of 96.4%, a green output energy of 13.2 mJ was obtained. The energy conversion efficiency in IFD is much higher than that in extracavity frequency doubling (EFD) which is only 33.87%.  相似文献

A diode-pumped acousto-optically (AO) Q-switched high-repetition-rate Nd:YAG lasers at 946 and 473 nm by intracavity frequency-doubling were reported in this paper. Using a compact V-type laser cavity, a maximum average output power of 4.5 W 946 nm laser was obtained at an operating repetition rate of 10 kHz, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 10.5% and a slope efficiency of 15.6%. With a BiBO crystal as the intracavity frequency-doubler, 1.35 W 473 nm pulsed laser was achieved at 10 kHz. The peak power of the Q-switched blue pulse was up to 4.1 kW, with a pulse width of 33.1 ns. Then, the long-term power instability was less than 1%. Moreover, stable pulsed operation of 946 nm and 473 nm lasers can even reach 50 kHz.  相似文献

从理论上分析了准三能级系统946 nmNd:YAG全固态激光器运转的条件,并比较了几种不同的倍频晶体的特性,给出内腔倍频获得473 nm蓝光发射的方案。用波长808 nm、输出功率为2.2 W的半导体激光器泵浦Nd:YAG,采用内腔倍频的方法,在一定的温度下,用Ⅰ类临界相位匹配B IBO晶体倍频获得了473 nm 26.5 mW的单模连续蓝色激光输出,功率波动小于±5%。  相似文献

A folded four-mirror cavity with a composite Nd:YAG rod is optimized to obtain high efficient cw 473nm blue output. The laser could operate stably in the region of the thermal-lens focal length from 20mm to 70mm. LBO is used for intracavity frequency doubling of the 946nm transition of Nd:YAG and the optimum LBO length is investigated. A maximum output power of 2.1 Win the blue spectral range at 473nm is achieved with 30-mm-long LBO, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 9.1%.  相似文献

It is reported that efficient blue laser generation at 473 nm in a BIBO crystal at type-I phase matching direction of (θ,)=(18.3°,90°) performed with a diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser. With incident pump power of 1.6 W, output power of 183 mW at 473 nm has been obtained using a 5.0 mm-long BIBO crystal. The optical conversion efficiency was up to 11.4%. It was found that the intracavity frequency doubling efficiency is about 50% greater than that obtained with a 10 mm-long type-I phase-matching LBO crystal.  相似文献

脉冲蓝光激光器在水下探测、水下通信和遥感方面有着重要的应用前景。根据高斯光束传输的ABCD矩阵,设计了对热效应不灵敏的Z型谐振腔。利用808 nm激光二极管(LD)端面抽运Nd:YVO4晶棒,在室温下实现了4F3/2→4I9/2准三能级激光谱线跃迁。通过声光调Q和LBO腔内倍频,获得了稳定的高重复频率、高峰值功率457 nm蓝光激光输出。当抽运功率为30 W时,在重复频率为10 kHz下,获得最大单脉冲能量为56 μJ ,脉冲宽度为217 ns,峰值功率达258 W; 在重复频率为20 kHz下,获得最大平均功率为760 mW,脉冲宽度为261 ns,峰值功率为146 W。在最大平均输出功率下测量了脉冲457 nm蓝光激光器的功率稳定性,20 min之内其最大不稳定度小于2%。  相似文献

In this paper, a flashlamp-pumped Q-switched Cr: LiSAF laser system with intracavity frequency doubling is designed to obtain dual pulse and dual wavelength laser output. The behaviors of second harmonic output of dual pulse and dual wavelength are studied experimentally. Good results are obtained in experiments: the output energy of each second harmonic pulse a round 448.1 nm is 10.2 mJ, the dual pulse time interval can be tuned widely, and the tunable range of each second harmonic wavelength is 448.1 to 465 nm.  相似文献

A laser diode (LD) pumped Nd:YAG red pulse laser at 660 nm was presented by V:YAG passively Qswitching and LBO intracavity frequency doubling. With 1.6-W incident pump power, average output power of 46-mW, pulse duration (FWHM) of 23.3 ns, pulse repetition rate of 21.6 kHz, peak power of 91.4 W, and single pulse energy of 2.13μJ were obtained. The beam quality factor M2 was less than 1.2. The fluctuations of pulse energy and repetition rate were less than 3% in 4 hours. The pulsed laser at 660 nm is expected to be used as the pump source of Cr3+:doped crystal to obtain the gain-switched tunable laser.  相似文献

LD side-pumped dual interconnected V-type quasi-continuous wave green laser has been demonstrated. The two Nd:YAG modules were placed in a plane-concave V-type resonator and a plane-concave straight cavity formed two stable operation beam of the 1064-nm fundamental frequency laser. Through acousto-optic Q-switched and frequency doubling crystal, two double-frequency laser beams arrived at the folded flat mirror, which were unidirectional output by the folded flat mirror at the end. As the pumped current was 50 A, the 532 nm green laser maximum average output power of 206 W at a repetition of 22.4 kHz was achieved with a pulse width of 201 ns and the largest single pulse energy of 9.2 mJ, corresponding to a peak power of 45.8 kW and a double frequency efficiency of 60.2%.  相似文献

We report a LD side-pumped high beam quality (M x 2 = 1.20 and M y 2 = 1.19) acousto-optic (AO) Q-switched single-rod Nd:YAG laser with a TEM00-mode dynamic stable cavity. At the pump power of 600 W, 41 W TEM00-mode 1064 nm laser was achieved with electro-optical conversion efficiency of 7%. The repetition rate and pulse width were 30 kHz and 102 ns, respectively with pulse energy of 1.4 mJ and peak power of 13 kW. Up to 24 W of 532 nm green laser was generated by external frequency doubling, corresponding to 59% optical conversion efficiency.  相似文献

A compact efficient diode-end-pumped acousto-optically Q-switched intracavity-frequency-tripled Nd:YAG 355 nm ultraviolet laser was realized. Intracavity sub-resonators with anti-reflection and high-reflection coated mirrors were used to get higher efficiency of third harmonic generation. With two LBO crystals used in frequency doubling and tripling processes respectively, greater than 1.2 W 355 nm average output power was obtained under the absorbed pump power of 10 W and the repetition rate of 5 kHz. The corresponding pump-to-ultraviolet conversion efficiency was determined to be as high as 12%. At 5 kHz, the minimize pulse width was obtained to be 14.2 ns with the peak power of 16.9 kW and single pulse energy of 240 μJ. The instability of the 355 nm laser was measured to be less than 4.2% at an output power of 0.9 W within half an hour operation.  相似文献

本文讨论了采用空间光脉冲光谱的啁啾特性和选择聚焦透镜焦距相结合的技术大大提高二次谐波转换效率和产生紫外飞秒光脉冲的实验研究.采用一类相位匹配的BBO晶体,当飞秒钛宝石光脉冲平均功率为560mW时,二次谐波输出功率为352mW,二次谐波转换效率高达63%;采用一类相位匹配的LBO晶体时,获得高光束质量的倍频蓝光输出,输出平均功率为170mW,转换效率大于30%.运用LBO倍频产生的蓝光脉冲和剩余的基频光脉冲进行了三次谐波的振荡研究.三倍频晶体采用BBO,通过优化设计倍频光与基频光之间的空间模匹配及精确时间延迟,得到飞秒紫外光输出,输出功率为2mW,中心波长约为280nm,重复率为100MHz.  相似文献

Tunable solid-state dye laser sample based on modified polymethyl methacrylate (MPMMA) with methanol co-doped with pyrromethene 567 (PM567) and Coumarin 440 (C440) was prepared. Tunable dye laser output wavelength from 546 to 594 nm was obtained in an oscillator-amplifier configuration. With the input seed laser energy being about 1.5 mJ, the highest dye laser output energy reached 113.9 mJ, and the corresponding conversion slope efficiency was 51.39%. To the best of our knowledge, the tuning range and narrow linewidth dye output energy is the best under the same condition so far. The linewidth for the seed laser and amplified laser were measured with the result of less than 0.2 nm. With the amplified medium being pumped at a repetition rate of 10 Hz with a pulse energy as high as 120 mJ (the fluence was 0.42 J/cm2), the laser output energy dropped to half of its initial value after approximate 43000 pulses.  相似文献

利用Nd~(3+):YAG主被动锁模加晶体管雪崩吸收单选,再放大、倍频、混频,产生30ps,355nm激光单脉冲,用它泵浦Ⅱ类非临界相应匹配的LiB_3O_5光参量发生器,在精密温度控制下,获得415.9~482.6nm的蓝紫光可调谐输出,线宽0.15nm,最高参量转换效率37.6%,可输出能量为6.33mJ,峰值功率为211MW的皮秒激光单脉冲.  相似文献
