报道了一台LD端面抽运Nd:YAG晶体内腔三倍频355 nm激光高效率、高峰值功率准连续输出的全固态紫外激光器.激光腔采用紧凑型平平直腔,腔长仅106 mm.当注入抽运功率为5.73 W、重复频率为9 kHz时,获得163 mW的355 nm激光准连续输出,光光转换效率达到最高2.84%.当注入抽运功率为6.7 W重复频率为5 kHz时,获得最高174 mW的355 nm激光准连续输出,输出功率短期不稳定性为5%,光束质量因子M2为3.79.当注入抽运功率为5.73 W、重复频率为2 kHz时,获得112 mW的355 nm激光准连续输出,峰值功率最高达到9.15 kW.通过采用内腔倍频技术和设计合理的腔结构,实现了中小功率准连续输出的全固态紫外激光器的小型化、便携化,进一步拓宽了紫外激光器的应用领域. 关键词: LD端面抽运 内腔三倍频 Q')" href="#">声光调Q 紫外激光  相似文献

A compact efficient diode-end-pumped acousto-optically Q-switched intracavity-frequency-tripled Nd:YVO4 355 μm ultraviolet laser was realized. Intracavity sub-resonators with anti-reflection and high-reflection coated mirrors were used to get higher efficiency of third harmonic generation. With two LBO crystals used in frequency doubling and tripling processes, greater than 1.46 W 355 nm average output power was obtained under the absorbed pump power of 13.9 W and the repetition rate of 10 kHz. The corresponding pump-to-ultraviolet conversion efficiency was determined to be as high as 10.5%. At 10 kHz, the minimize pulse width was obtained to be 12 ns with the peak power of 10.4 kW and single pulse energy of 146 μJ.  相似文献

A high power, quasi-continuous wave ultraviolet laser at 355 nm was obtained by intracavity frequency tripling of a diode side-pumped acousto-optic (AO) Q-switched Nd:YAG laser. Type II critical phase-matched KTP and LBO crystals were used for the second harmonic generation and the third harmonic generation, respectively. Under the pump power of 180 W, 7.8 W average output power at 355 nm was obtained at 8 kHz with the pulse width of 50 ns, corresponding to the pump-to-ultraviolet conversion efficiency of 4.3%. The peak power and single pulse energies were estimated to be 18.8 kW and 938 μJ. Its far-field divergence was measured to be about 3.8 mrad. The instability of the 355 nm laser was less than 1% at an output power of 6.3 W for 2 h operation.  相似文献

La2CaB10O19(LCB)为可通过Nd∶YAG激光三倍频产生355 nm紫外激光的非线性光学晶体,其光学性能可与商用化的LiB 3O 5(LBO)晶体媲美,但抗潮解特性优势明显。本文对用LCB晶体实现355 nm紫外激光输出的三倍频产生过程进行了优化设计,利用走离补偿方法来提高激光输出转换效率。通过在光路中加入沿θ=45°方向切割、厚度为1.2 mm的方解石晶体走离补偿片,在脉冲宽度为60 ns、重复频率10 kHz的激光参数下实现355 nm输出功率由12 W提升至20 W;在脉冲宽度为25 ps、重复频率为10 Hz的激光参数下355 nm转换效率由28.3%提升至35.2%。  相似文献

A high-power high-repetition-rate acousto-optically Q-switched 1342 nm laser with double Nd:YVO4 crystals pumped by fiber-coupled laser diodes is presented. The highest output power of 13.7 W was achieved with a total of 42 W pumping power in cw operation, the slope efficiency was measured as 36%, and the optical efficiency was better than 32%. In Q-switchedoperation, the highest pulse repetition rate of 100 kHz was obtained. At 50 kHz repetition rate, the laser exported 11.2 W average output power, with 60 ns average pulse width, ∼5% width stability (RMS) and ∼8% peak-power stability (RMS). At 10 kHz repetition rate, the highest average output power was measured as 6.3 W, single pulse energy was calculated as 0.63 mJ, with pulse width of 19 ns and peak-power higher than 30 kW. High efficiency extra-cavity third harmonic generation (THG) of 355 nm has been developed. A laser diode (LD) end-pumped, acoustic-optical Q-switched Nd:YAG laser was used as the fundamental wave source. With an input pump power of 25 W, average power of 6.75 W at 1064 nm was generated with the repetition rate 12 kHz and pulse duration 10 ns. Using the extra-cavity frequency conversion of three critical phase match (CPM) LiB3O5 (LBO) crystals, 3.2 W third harmonic radiation at 355 nm was obtained. The optical-to-optical (1064 nm to 355 nm) conversion efficiency was up to 47.4%.  相似文献

Q-switched operation of a room temperature Ho:YAP laser was resonantly end-pumped by a diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser at 1.91 μm. The CW Ho:YAP laser generated 9.9 W of linearly output at 2119.03 nm with beam quality factor of M 2 ∼1.46 with respect to absorbed pump power of 19.16 W, corresponding to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 51.7% and slope efficiency of 60.6%. Under Q-switched operation, the maximum output power of 9.8 W in relation to 10 kHz pulse repetition frequency (PRF) was obtained, however, the maximum peak power of 60 kW at the PRF of 5 kHz was demonstrated. At 5 kHz pulse energies of 1.92 mJ with pulse width of 32 ns was achieved.  相似文献

报道了一台激光二极管(LD)端面抽运Nd:YVO4晶体腔内倍频和腔外和频相结合的声光调Q准连续355 nm 紫外激光器。采用LD端面抽运双侧翼键合YVO4基质的Nd:YVO4晶体,在腔内置入Ⅰ类相位匹配的LiB3O5(LBO)晶体进行倍频实现1 064 nm和532 nm双波长准连续激光输出,通过消色差透镜将双波长激光聚焦耦合到Ⅱ类相位匹配的LBO 晶体中进行和频,并采用双向和频光路,获得了高效率、高光束质量、高重复频率的准连续355 nm 紫外激光输出。在抽运功率为28.6 W、重复频率为20 kHz时,355 nm激光最大输出功率4.2 W,脉宽为20.6 ns,光-光转换效率为14.7%,激光器光束质量因子Mx2和My2分别为1.29和1.23。  相似文献

High-power, high-repetition-rate extra-cavity third harmonic generation of 355 nm with high beam quality has been developed. The acoustic-optical Q-switched Nd:YVO4 MOPA laser including 2- and 4-stage amplifiers was used as the IR source. With the extra-cavity frequency conversion of LBO crystals, 30.2 W TEM00-mode 355 nm UV laser was obtained with a 2-stage amplifier MOPA laser, and the optical-to-optical (1064 nm to 355 nm) conversion efficiency was up to 30%. Enhanced 43 W TEM00 UV laser at 60 kHz was achieved with a 4-stage amplifier MOPA IR laser, and pulse duration was 10.7 ns corresponding to the peak power as high as 67 kW, with single pulse energy of 0.72 mJ. The optical–optical efficiencies from IR and diodes to UV were 28% and 10% respectively.  相似文献

A diode-pumped acousto-optically (AO) Q-switched high-repetition-rate Nd:YAG lasers at 946 and 473 nm by intracavity frequency-doubling were reported in this paper. Using a compact V-type laser cavity, a maximum average output power of 4.5 W 946 nm laser was obtained at an operating repetition rate of 10 kHz, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 10.5% and a slope efficiency of 15.6%. With a BiBO crystal as the intracavity frequency-doubler, 1.35 W 473 nm pulsed laser was achieved at 10 kHz. The peak power of the Q-switched blue pulse was up to 4.1 kW, with a pulse width of 33.1 ns. Then, the long-term power instability was less than 1%. Moreover, stable pulsed operation of 946 nm and 473 nm lasers can even reach 50 kHz.  相似文献

We report on an efficient high-power passively Q-switched UV laser at 355 nm. We take into account the second threshold criterion and the thermal-lensing effect to design and realize a compact reliable passively Q-switched Nd:YVO4 laser with Cr4+:YAG as a saturable absorber. At an incident pump power of 16.3 W, the average output power at 1064 nm reaches 6.2 W with a pulse width of 7 ns and a pulse repetition rate of 56 kHz. Employing the developed passively Q-switched laser to perform the extra-cavity harmonic generations, the maximum average output powers at 532 nm and 355 nm are up to 2.2 W and 1.62 W, respectively.  相似文献

A diode-end-pumped high repetition rate, high peak power acousto-optical (AO) Q-switched 946 nm Nd:YAG laser was demonstrated in this paper. In our experiments, a 20 mm miniature acousto-optical Q-switch was employed in a 45 mm linear laser cavity for generating the short laser pulse. At a repetition rate of 10 kHz, a maximum average output power of 2.9 W was achieved with a pulse width of 24.4 ns, giving a peak power of 11.9 kW. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest peak power 946 nm Nd:YAG laser at high repetition rate operation. Moreover, pulse train with good stability was also obtained at the repetition rate of 50 kHz. At an incident pump power of 22.3 W, up to an average output power of 3.5 W pulsed 946 nm laser was generated at 50 kHz with a pulse width of 69 ns, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 15.7% and an average slope efficiency of 24.1%, respectively.  相似文献

An end-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser fiber-coupled diode was designed. A maximum output power of 4.74 W TEM00 mode CW laser was obtained for a pump power of 10.5 W. The optical efficiency and slope efficiency were measured as 45.1 and 57.8% at 1064 nm, respectively. In Q-switching operation, 4.45 W average power at a pulse repletion rate of 5 kHz was produced, with a stability of pulse peak value <2%.  相似文献

An efficient compact diode-pumped acousto-optic actively Q-switched Nd:YAG ceramic laser operating at 1319 nm was demonstrated. At an incident pump power of 23.7 W, an average output power of 4.8 W at a pulse repetition frequency of 30 kHz was obtained. The corresponding optical-to-optical conversion efficiency was 20.3%. We demonstrated a 36.9 W green laser with an intra-cavity second harmonic generation. A compact unstable V type cavity was adopted to compress the whole cavity configuration. The type I phase-matching LiB3O5 was used as the nonlinear crystal in the second harmonic generation. The 36.9 W average power and 38 ns pulse width of 532 nm green laser was obtained at a repetition rate of 10.3 kHz, corresponding to a peak power of 94 kW. The optical to optical conversion efficiency from diode to green and from IR to green laser was about 19.8 and 82%, the whole cavity length is about 300 mm. To the best of our knowledge, this is the shortest cavity configuration of side pump green system with output power higher than 30 W and IR to green conversion efficiency larger than 80%. The output fluctuation of this system was less than 3% in 2 h.  相似文献

A high-power diode-side-pumped 1,105?nm Nd:GGG laser and a laser at 552?nm based on intracavity frequency doubling of 1,105?nm laser are demonstrated for the first time. A 26.8-W 1,105?nm laser continuous wave output was achieved under the incident pump power of 170?W. A LiB3O5 crystal is used for second harmonic generation of 1,105?nm laser. When the pump power was 170?W, the average output power at 552?nm of 7.3?W was obtained, corresponding to the optical conversion efficiency of 4.3?%. And the minimum pulse width is 181?ns with the pulse repetition rate of 10?kHz. The M 2 factors are measured to be 19.8 and 17.6 in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively.  相似文献
